My wife and I have been coming to this bakery for the last two weeks. The first time we tasted it we loved it. I went back for confirmation. The breakfast sandwich is to die for grape sandwich. The baked goods are awesome as well. There's no Mrs. in there everything works if you know what you're getting and if you don't, they'll make some very good suggestions. As for the Location because I have accessible concerns. I have to keep in mind. There is no public restroom there but other than that it's a great little location to sit down and have some coffee have lunch or breakfast. This place is an incredible find in Hemet. We live in Northern California but come to SoCal to visit family often. We discovered HSB because of their GF offerings. I went in the day before Christmas to pick up some gluten free muffins for my girlfriend, but they were out. I picked up some other gf desserts but the muffins are what she likes the most. I asked if they were going to be open the day after Christmas and I would come back. Turns out the owner is planning to take a very well deserved week off, so no luck. But then she aske me for my number and told me that while she makes no promises, she will call me if she happens to make some. Within two hours I got a phone call. Six GF muffins with my name on it! I ran out and we were able to enjoy them while they were still warm. Sooooo good. Not only are the baked goods fantastic, but service like that? Deserves as many stars as are in the sky. We were on our way to Oceanside from Palm Springs and looking for a local place that would offer birthday cakes for my husband's twin siblings. We picked one up, a white cake with raspberry filling and then a miniature chocolate cake along with a couple of carrot cake cupcakes for the birthday. My husband and I got a couple of pastries to try as well on the drive South. The people in the bakery were so kind and helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful. I must say that I don't think I've had a better bear claw pastry and my husband had the sticky bun pastry and both were heavenly. When celebrating the birthdays, everyone thought the cakes were terrific and I must say that the white cake was heavenly as well. The meatball sub and the downtowner are definitely the best thing on the menu, I would recommend requesting the meatballs in the meatball sub be cut in half to make it easier to eat. Our wedding cake was gorgeous and scrumptious!.. the perfect recipe for success. Every guest raved about how delicious the cake was. The top tier was white cake with a lemon custard filling and the bottom tier was chocolate with a vanilla custard filling. My MIL really loves Harvard St Bakery treats and since it was her birthday we had driven up from San Diego and of course we had to get her a couple of birthday treats. She really loves their chocolate covered cheesecake slice so we had to get her a slice and one for my husband too, then we 2 chocolate chip cookies, 2 chocolate chip with nuts cookies, a cheese danish, 3 raspberry jelly donuts, a red velvet cupcake and a 4 pistachio French macarons. The treats here are really affordable, I think we everything our total was $25, here in San Diego they would be twice as much if not more. My raspberry cheese danish was nice, the pasty was flaky and the glaze was perfectly sweetened, I really liked the cookies, they were nice and crispy and i liked the red velvet cupcake too. My husbands fave were the filled donuts and his chocolate covered slice cheesecake, just like his mom. Next time we're visiting we'll have to come by again. My wife and I made our annual trip to Hemet for our grandchild's field day against other church schools. We were set that we weren't going to Subway or a similar chain sandwich shop.
