I stopped in the other day while grocery shopping in the same plaza and asked to order the tres leches ice cream. Unfortunately, they had ran out, but the employees were very kind and helpful, and recommended other flavors to me. I got to sample the caramel tres leches and ended up ordering this - it was phenomenal! I love how the ice cream tastes so creamy and sweet without being overpowering, and you can really taste the cookie/cake pieces within it. It's one of my favorite sweet treats to get, and has made other ice cream a lot less enjoyable. Really appreciate the wonderful service here too! My only wish is that there was more ample seating indoors or outdoors, but it's in a busy shopping center, so it's understandable. read more

If you follow me, you've seen my other reviews on La Michoacana establishments. This one was just OK, the ice cream wasn't my favorite. It didn't have full flavor and there were not very many chunks of fruit in it. The line was extremely long and even with three workers it still took a minute for me to get my order. They did offer , additional premade desserts, like Chamoy, candy, apples, dipped pretzels, and all kinds of other premade sweets. The parking was horrible here too. It was a busy Friday at 2 PM. Let me preface this review with saying, that the treats I received for the MOST part: Mangonada, paletas, and ice cream were all delicious. The tiramisu was sour and had gone bad. It was sour and we knew immediately. We ordered two. After my sister tried her first bite, she had this sour after taste and had others try to confirm. It was definitely not edible. Because of this we asked if we could exchange the other UNTOUCHED cup due to it having a SPOILED milk taste. The worker (who was incredibly kind and patient) informed us that she needed to ask for manager approval to do so. This is where things took a turn for the worse, warranting the horrible review I'm leaving. I informed the manager of the situation and she blatantly says "no I cannot" with no explanation. So I proceed to calmly explain that it was untouched and that it was sour tasting and we knew because we bought TWO and already tried the other with a receipt to show for this. She then tells me that that's how tiramisu is supposed to taste and insists that the food was not spoiled but simply that it was supposed to be sour. I have never tried a sour tiramisu in my life. Appalled, I stood there shocked. I then tell her that if it was a money thing, I could pay the difference for the item in exchange. And she still said "No I cannot" and insisted that all baked goods were priced differently. A member of my party steps in to say, that we could get something even of lesser value but the fact is that we paid for something we couldn't even eat! She then angrily grabs two macarons to replace my tiramisu. Horrible customer service. If this is the business model that this place practices: horrible customer service, and selling EXPIRED goods. I will never return. I felt embarrassed by the manager and left extremely upset. It wasn't about money, I would have gladly paid for the difference. I managed a restaurant before and if my clientele let me know an item was spoiled, there would have been a replacement no questions asked. I hope the $5 was worth it. I brought 10 ppl to your business this evening and now 10 people will never return. Do better. read more

The mango ice cream taste like the center portion of the fruit. This locations cleanliness and smell was much more gratifying than La Michoacana near my home. A bit disappointed this time around, cup of corn, tasted water down. It was literally liquid and chili no flavor, very minimal butter and mayo. The fruit salad with the cottage cheese, and honey. Also, very disappointing. Lots of liquid no flavor and I literally had to walk the lady through to make me something I've purchased there before on their menu before. Definitely ready to find a different place to purchase these items. Finally got a chance to try this place! Every time I've come here it's been Packed in the evenings! I got a coffee/ cappuccino flavored ice cream that was delicious! The employees say they use fresh fruit for their other ice creams! My cousin who was looking for a dairy free item was able to find plenty of options here but we tried a few of the non dairy water based ice creams and they all tasted really Tarte and not as fresh as expected. Came here yesterday for Father's Day after having a rude I counter with the other Michoacána shop down the road. Honestly I should have came here instead of the one in san Jacinto. My Daughter used to work near this ice cream place, so today, we were coming out of Idyllwild, when she suggested we stop in for ice cream. There were 3 Adults, and 6 kids. First of all, I was so impressed by the cleanliness of this establishment. Everything looks so clean and well kept. Samples are available upon request. The ladies that waited on us were friendly and professional. I basically was served my ice cream and watched as the grandkids made their choices. Each child was waited on with patience and kindness. My Daughter and Niece had a lot of questions and they were given the time to make their choice, without any problem. Everything was excellent. Best ice cream I've had in ages. So many choices and everything full of flavor. All you need is one scoop. The scoops are equivalent to 2. I highly recommend this place and can't wait til the Murrieta location opens up.
