Me and my fiance came here for the first time today. We arrived when the shop opened and were the only people in there. We ordered three crepes and two drinks. The crepes were pretty pricy and not worth the price. When we received our crepes they were cold as if they were sitting out while the lady was making the others. I've been to this location a couple times in the past and their food and drinks had been good, a little on the pricey side but I'm always willing to pay more for good quality. Unfortunately, the bad service I received today really changed my view of this location. A friend and I came to order some smoothies and were serviced by Mia. I ordered and inquired if they only served smoothies in one size to which she couldn't answer and said she wouldn't know, mind you, she was working the register and didn't make any drinks so not sure why she couldn't ask but I told her it was fine and made a point to request boba in our drinks. The menu clearly states that with teas, boba is included and given that I've been there before, I made it a point to ask for boba in the smoothies. Upon receiving our drinks we quickly notice there's no boba which is okay, I understand mistakes happen but it was the way another employee handled the situation that made me realize I would be taking my business elsewhere going forward. We told the older woman that our drinks didn't have boba and she was quick to say we didn't order boba, I told her I did but she just kept cutting me off and making excuses saying it wasn't in the receipt and then saying that people don't know they have to ask for boba but she simply did not want to listen to me. I told her that if Mia didn't put it in the order which we know we asked for then that's okay but I know I asked for boba and being cut off and told I didn't was incredibly rude. As someone who's worked in several customer service and guest relations jobs, the customer service given was simply poor. She could've simply said they didn't add it to our order and would be able to charge us separately for the boba and redo our drinks but to want to argue with me and continue to cut me off every time I went to respond was so rude and unfortunate. The customer is not always right, I know that from experience but it's an entire different thing to treat customers the way we were treated. As an employee if a customer has an issue with an order you're usually supposed to offer solutions and help. We ordered two drinks: a Mangonada with no boba and a peach bubble tea with boba instead of popping bubbles. However, the Mangonada ended up having popping bubbles in it, and the peach tea came with both tapioca boba and popping boba. I was also charged for extra boba. When I told the lady that I didn't want the popping bubbles, she said they weren't in the original order, so she wasn't going to remove them. I explained again that I didn't want them, and she agreed to scoop them out. I asked her if she was going to add the extra boba I paid for, as it seemed like there was barely any in the cup. She told me she wasn't going to add it, just scoop out the popping bubbles, and that would be all.
