This amazing gem in Staten Island has a unique concept with trained habilitation staff. The service was perfect, and the food tasted authentic, fresh, and homemade. I had breakfast, and it truly felt home-cooked. The ambience is so cute, cozy, and very mom-and-pop style. Very affordable too breakfast for 7 (including 2 kids) was $120. I'll definitely be back.

The warmest place with delicious breakfast! Nobody rushes you at this house-turned-restaurant situated on a peaceful stretch, right by the beach. Loved the trainee's bowl and cappuccinos and the overall relaxing feel of the place. Would come back again for sure.

Food: The food here was so tasty. The waffle was on the sweet side similar to an ice cream cone waffle cone. I wish the waffle had come with some sort of side both to balance some of the sweetness and because it looked lonesome on the plate. The biscuit sandwiches were tasty but a wee bit hard to eat because the biscuit tended to fall apart pretty quickly. The tater tots were tasty but my meal was only served with 10. The plate looked pretty sad with 10 lonely tots on it but everything tasted great so I'm happy i found this place and would love to return. Service: The waiter was polite. The cafe was nearly empty when I went so he was very attentive. Ambience: The cafe isn't large but the tables are spaced far enough apart so that you don't feel crowed.

Want to give a HUGE shoutout to Harvest Café for hosting a beautiful breakfast buffet yesterday on the morning of my son's Baptism. Head chef Joe and his staff were so sweet and accommodating. We had about 40 people and they were so impressed with everything. The food was cooked fresh and absolutely delicious. Included in the buffet were pastries, bagels, danishes, muffins, biscuits, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, chicken and waffles, scrambled eggs, pancakes and tater tots. They also served us freshly made chocolate chip cookies and brownies. We got the cake from Holtermann's Bakery. As soon as something ran low they immediately refilled it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND having your gathering here or even just stop by for breakfast or brunch. http://www.harvestcafe-si.org/

Came in around noon time with my friends and were immediately greeted by a lovely staff who allow us to choose what seats we want! We picked the booth seats because we want to be more comfortable. We started with mimosas and ordered harvest omelet, classic benny and walnut french toasts! The food tastes better than expected and the walnut French toasts with bananas we not too sweet even my friend asked for an extra syrup for her french toasts. The restaurant has a cozy feeling and all of the staff were attentive and super nice and were not rushy. I love how this restaurant is so spacious! Oh yes. The mimosas are not in the menu btw! We asked the staff for them and she made them for us.

Really nice and simple place with good good and good service! We came after a game on the field and definitely come back again for another game winning meal! The space is large and well spaced with tables. The simple cafe style offering many options on a good meal. Keep up the great work! See you soon!

This cafe is just amazing. First and foremost this is a very special cafe as they hire differently abled adults and teenagers. The food is delicious and the service was amazing. The restaurant itself is very clean and well put together. The restaurant also faces a beautiful reserves park which has a nice scenic view. The prices are also very very cheap for the amazing quality of food that they serve. They don't have dinner but they have plenty of breakfast and lunch options. Again I love my visit here and I HIGHLY recommend this cafe. It's good for a date, family lunch or breakfast, brunch date, or anything else you can think of. Make this your brunch spot as it is truly one of the best cafes in not only Staten Island but also NYC. You'll be supporting their mission while having some amazing food!

I learned about Harvest Café from watching the news one evening. It was a beautiful, unique concept that should have been put into play decades ago. First chance I got, I went (alone) and had brunch. (*BOOM*) Blew my mind. The food was phenomenal, waitstaff was amazing and the place was clean as a whistle. I had a chance to go for lunch today. Yet again... (*BOOM*). The crabcakes are probably 95% crab meat and 5% seasoning and breadcrumbs. They're so delicious, it's ridiculous. Waitstaff were yet again, amazing. Whole restaurant was beautifully spotless. Definitely one of my favorite finds.

Come for the no frills, good food, good service, reasonable prices and the good cause. Overall very satisfied with the food and service. If you want to get a decent eggs Benedict or french toast because you're too lazy to make it yourself this is a good spot. Prices are very reasonable. French toast with caramelized bananas and walnut was delicious. Don't come expecting any fancy shaved truffles or gramworthy dish presentation. Not the ideal spot if you're trying to impress a shallow tinder date or a business client. Presentation is very basic and service is good. Food was delicious. My only complaints are: they didn't have good coffee and English muffins for the eggs Benedict (got mine with reg toast). Coffee was very weak. Someone should taste every batch of coffee made. I would've also liked it if they offered some syrup on the side. I'll definitely be back here to try the lunch.

Banana Walnut Pancakes, side of egg and sausage links. If I had a second stomach, I would have ordered more. I'll be back for sure.

Just so happen to stumble across this gem. Food was excellent and as good or better than any brunch place in the city. Not enough can be said about the staff. By far better service than most places I have been to.

First thing's first. As a special educator and a lover of all things food related, I can't believe I hadn't heard of this place sooner! Ok well to be honest, any establishment on Staten Island probably isn't super well known. But thanks to my bestie, who moved there about a year ago, I've been in the area much more often. Anyway, I love this place so damn much! I stopped in here on a Monday for lunch and my friend and I ordered the risotto, the hummus appetizer and the potato appetizer. We weren't sure if it would be enough food to share, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was more than enough. Not only did we spend under $24 for enough for 3-4 people, but everything was really really REALLY yummy. The hummus was definitely homemade and served with at least 10 pieces of pita and about a cup and a half of cut up carrot, cucumber and celery. The baked potato wedges were slathered in cheese and had about 2 slices of perfectly fried bacon on top. This also came with about 1/4 cup of sour cream. The risotto was the star of the meal. It was drenched in creamy, oily AMAZING sauce. I would have drank it if you offered it up in a glass. Not only is the food amazing, the service here is 250% perfection. There are a few neurotypical people around helping out, placing orders and giving much needed praise to some smart and enthusiastic developmentally delayed, but equally amazing human beings. Some of these folks can be seen greeting customers, delivering dishes, clearing plates, prettying up tables and just generally being fabulous. Eat here! Drink here! Socialize here! Bring your entire family and all your friends here! Give these people all of your money! Do one or all of these things. You will so happy you did.

What time does this place open? We came here Monday morning 8:15 and the doors are locked..

I think they are closed on Monday. Double check on their website.

Can I bring my dog, if we sit outside?

There is a sign that says no companion dogs; only service dogs. While I believe dogs outside are ok, there are no tables outside anymore due to the season

As my wife and I entered the cafe, we were exposed to the beautifully exposed brick, the warmth of wood all around and well appointed finishing touches. The coffee bar was gorgeous and the ambience was warm and inviting (big ++ on the games on the shelf). Both rooms were nicely decorated with lots of space (they also have a patio) definitely a 5 out of 5 on the decor and look! Our order consisted of the Ultimate sandwich for me-it was really delicious sausage, bacon, arugula, runny-egg w/ Aioli on a brioche bun that was buttery, it was well balanced with lots of flavor, paired with their drip coffee (reg cup of coffee) which was an about 6oz cup...they call it a large as stated on their menu but feels more like a small cup (by the way, surcharge on the bit of milk which they pour in). Coffee was smooth but small and no refills-kind of had my head scratching, but it is a cafe I guess that is the norm. My wife had the breakfast plate (scrambled eggs, homes fries and sausage. Home fries were very crunchy and flavorful, sausage had tons of flavor as well , the egg was season well, but the plate came with no bread of any kind, I wish they would pair it with a baked good to tie it all together. She tried their iced Tiramisu latte but it was under-whelming-sorry guys but it did lacked flavor for a specialty item, it seemed to only have chocolate syrup-nothing really that would say Tiramisu, like cold foam, no cinnamon, not even the cookie that is on their Insta account. Food overall was a 4 out of 5 only because of the coffee was subpar. The service, and here is where I think they really need help. If you are in the service industry, you really need to bring your game with every customer that comes through your doors, not just your regulars. Your service and attention to detail will bring the whole experience to another level. Unfortunately, from the bar, to the servers, they lacked skills that comes with experience. **Tips-train staff to be hospitable , and don't surcharge items (increase the price by buck or 2 to even out the cost). Would I give it another try-yes, would I recommend-yes.
