For the very best in coffee's of all kinds, exotic Italian sodas, the freshest and finest assortments of Italian pastries and other baked good, the creamiest of gelato's, and Italian ices this is a must place to visit. A cute pastry and coffee shop, that opened on the Valentine's Day 2021 no less! New guys on the block and oh, do they rock. It's small, cozy and clean. We got a carrot cake slice, which was like a piece of heaven on a plate, a Nocciola cake bar and a berry crumble, both delicious. The aroma of coffee hits you as soon as you open the door, didn't get a chance to try it this time, but I am planning to get a good look at their beverage menu next time I go there for a slice of carrot cake. And they have Gelato , we tried peanut butter chocolate one, which was very good. I am definitely going back there to try everything on the menu

If I didn't have family and my own coffee waiting at home, I would have stayed and enjoyed the cool cloudy summer morning in this peaceful urban cafe. I had a good interaction with both employees and the chocolate croissant tasted as it should. Since Yelp is usually where foodies get up on their soap boxes, I would recommend this pastry shoppe. It theoretically has a good location for those of you who are not Staten Island-averse. It's in a straight line between the ferry terminal and fort Wadsworth/Verrazano, right along the Bay Street bus route.

Everything is so delicious and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. We especially love the crumb cake (original), the rainbow cake & cookies, the bellaccino, and the freshly filled cannolis!

Lattes are spectacular! And the cannolis are out of this world! Just like my grandma used to make!

Highly recommend this little neighborhood coffee shop right on Bay Street! The workers are so friendly and the owner John is so great! 10/10 the coffee is amazing and the pastries are heavenly

Coffee is robust, delicious and always consistent. The owner and his son always make you feel welcomed. The shop gives a 1950s old world Brooklyn vibe, which I miss and don't see very often. This is the only spot I come to to enjoy a nice delicious cup of coffee. read more

I absolutely love coming here. I come about 1-2 times a week before work or while walking my dog. By now the staff knows me and my order (I am a creature of habit) and always confirm what I'd like. Sometimes I even get suggestions on how to change it up a bit and it always comes out delicious. Everyone there is very friendly and I've never had an issue or something done incorrectly or tasting bad. All of their pastries look delicious so it is hard to express self control! Everything is reasonably priced and it's the best coffee ive ever had. read more

I walk to work, and Bella Beans is on the way! The atmosphere is so welcoming due to the friendly staff. I love the place and look forward to a day when I can visit and sit down to enjoy my coffee. They leave you feeling as if you are eating in your own kitchen! But recently, I've been a bit disappointed as the quality of the food isn't as good as it used to be. Lately, I find the food to be on the stale side. When I come into a cafe, I want fresh food, not something that is dry because it has been sitting in the display case for a few days. And when I come into a cafe, I don't want to see food wrapped in plastic; that is just one step above a coffee cart outside a building in NYC. Personally, I'd like to see more breakfast related food. Cup cakes with 6 inches of icing on top are not something I want to have with my morning coffee. If the food was always fresh, I would have given 5 stars. All things considered, I highly recommend Bella Beans! read more

Everyone who works there are soooo nice !! They make great coffee, the pastries are amazing ! Great prices too, but honestly as soon as you walk in there, you're treated so nicely. I LOVE their strawberries dipped in chocolate (I believe the managers wife makes it) and omg in love !! They will sometimes put a box for me aside and it just makes my whole day lol. Mmrffff can't talk..eating! Hands down best crumb cake I've ever had AND THEY SHIP SO YOU CAN CONTINUE THAT OBSESSION FROM AFAR. Not dry/moist and fragrant with just a wonderful buttery/cinnamon taste- topped with a sizable crumb top. Bumping along the highway now with two heavy, complete cakes, weighing us down. John-the owner is the definition of New York nice...handing out great dinner and brewery suggestions underscoring his pride for his Staten Island neighborhood. Great coffee too. I wanted an image put on top of the cake. There was no way to tell how this image would look on the cake because the store isn't equipped with the kind of technology that can drop and drag a photo so that you can see what it would look like on the square cake. I was very apprehensive Anna Constantly told me to trust her trust her trust her. I kept telling her that I need for her to understand what I want, it seemed to me that she was yessing me to death. And I kind of felt rushed and pressured into placing the order. And reluctantly, I did place the order but 24 hours later I changed my mind and I realized that she had no clue as to what I wanted. I didn't feel confident that she was going to make the cake the way that I wanted it and I know that I'm in my timeframe to cancel since there was three weeks to go before I needed the cake. Upon arriving to the store to cancel the cake, I was taken by surprise by Anna and her other colleagues that they did not know how to process a refund you would think you simply hand your debit card over and they reverse the transaction, but this was much too complicated for anyone inside of cold Stone creamery to even comprehend how it was done. My refund of $111.14 had to go to the corporate office, I asked Anna to give me a receipt, some sort of trust and faith that we mutually understood one another that my $111.14 refund was indeed coming back to me. She offered me no receipt she offered me no confidence whatsoever Ave other than her word alone that I will be getting a refund she told me to trust her. So 3 weeks later today is January 23, 2026. I still have not received my refund. When I called the store any one of the employees tell me that they are not educated or understand understand the refund process. So therefore I'm still waiting for my refund of $111.14 which I believe I am never going to receive. I feel cheated. I feel robbed. I will never trust this ice cream shop ever again. I am very disappointed in this whole entire process. I have never experienced something like this before and I think other people should also be warned when you shop in cold Stone creamery. They may or may not understand what you want and when you decide, you don't want the product because you don't feel confident that they could actually make what you want I think they get insulted and they try to give you a hard time to prevent you from taking your money back. I am going to fight with these people every single day until I get my money back.
