Coffeee is good but the pastries are mid, my blueberrry scone is ehh, and the ham and cheese croissant was just ok. The service was nice and decor was good but I don't love it, its a big space and theres more seating in the back, but its very family and baby loud.

Cozy little spot with quality coffee & variety of pastries. Definitely one of the nicest coffee shops on the island (although the neighborhood is not ideal) but I hope they thrive.

Excepcional place! This place is so cozy and breathtaking inside! I had breakfast and a pastry and it was so good! So fresh and delicious! The best coffee latte! I can't wait to bring my friends! They have brunch as well!

Very cute inside. Such a warm vibe for sure. This would be a great spot to do some work on a laptop or just to sip your coffee. Service was good. Barista was very nice. I quite didn't like that the food is out. They do serve lunch which I didn't get to try. Tried the blueberry coconut cold brew along with a donut. Donut was delish. So light and airy not too sweet. The cold brew wasn't really my thing. I'll be back to try more of the lunch menu and other coffees as well.

Their prices are so affordable, absolutely the cheapest of any staten island café (even their specialty lattes max out at about $5!) where as many other cafés shamelessly charge almost $10.

Very Chill Vibes…read more The coupe is one of the only places in Staten Island you can go to get real cocktails after hours. They have great mixologist that actually take pride in their work. I got a Sazerac with cognac, I usually get that but this time they didn't have Pierre Ferran for they only had Ansac. I personally don't care for Ansac so I believe it totally changed the taste of the drink. The bartender could tell. I didn't like it and he asked me about four times " Are you sure I change it? It doesn't matter." I'm like if you're gonna ask me that many times then let's change it. So I got a sidecar and that was fire.

The bartender made a special drink for my friend since she was unsure of what she wanted so we told the bartender to make her something special. Almost want to gatekeep so it doesnt become too crowded but I really do think it's only fair to give them their flowers and a very nice review! 8/10 recommend.

Happy hour every day until 7 pm - with multiple drink and food items priced at $8. the decor is dark and sexy, full of velvets and nice artwork. id come back for the secret lounge in the back. the bathroom is clean and nicely decorated too. When we got here, I guess everyone else had the same idea because it filled up. the service slowed down after we placed our order, but there was only 1 server working the bar. the $8 happy hour espresso martini hit the SPOT and was refreshing too. they have a few craft beer choices on menu too. The Gambas is a must get. i think i counted 6 plump perfectly seasoned grilled shimp on a bed of sauce and toasted crustini. Grab the mac n cheese bites! my date loved them (they can come with sausage or without). i sampled the mac sauce on top and thought it was pretty good. the 5 wings on happy hour were messy, but delicious. i tasted the honey but not the chipotle. it might need a hint of more heat if they wanna call it chpotle. would come back in a heartbeat.

I ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap, which was excellent, packed with chicken and very filling. I ended up taking half home because it was both generous and delicious. The side salad was also surprisingly good. We ended up returning later for happy hour, which takes place in the room to the right of the hostess stand. I highly recommend stopping by for drinks and bites if you're in the mood for classic cocktails and solid food. Happy hour is first come, first served and limited to the bar only (around 15 seats total). We arrived right when it started, and when we left about 40 minutes later, the bar was about half full. I'd definitely come back to try their dinner or to enjoy their happy hour again.

There was a young lady sitting in the corner in the phone telling us that there were no seats if we didn't have a reservation. Not the most polite but whatever. We went back to the bar and got a table. Why are bar tables always so sticky?! Anyhoo, we just missed the Happy Jour menu but it was only a $1-2 discount (except for the burger: $4). Service was pleasant and attentive. The food was overpriced for sitting in a bar. $30 for a bowl of ramen! (I don't know how it tastes but it's $17 across the street.) $22 for a burger and fries! $10 for two little bao with a single shrimp in each! Ok, that's not too bad since Bao is generally overpriced for some reason but I could have gotten more than one shrimp. Unfortunately, the price did not reflect the quality. My friend who got the ramen said it was in the bottom 25% he's ever had. My burger was pretty good but the bun was toasted and brittle and made an unnecessary mess. The fries--personal preference--I don't like skinny fries. As for the bao, the shrimp was too salty. I liked the finishing salt but the flavoring salt was too heavy. Also, it was drizzled with aioli and I couldn't pick it up and eat it like the sandwich it was. Overall, a disappointment. Mediocre food and an elevated price for no reason.

It was Friday late afternoon and overall, fairly empty. We started with a sangria flight, which can be shared. I gotta say their seasonal sangria, the watermelon, was the best of the three! We chose Tuna Crudo and Shishito Peppers as our apps. The Tuna Crudo was just ok, but we throughly enjoyed the shishito peppers! We also split the Pollo Pizza which was perfectly crispy and cheesy. All in all, good food and fairly priced. We'll be back again soon and looking forward to trying some of their other tapas

For dinner, my friends and I opted to share a variety of tapas, which our server did a nice job in timing out so that they wouldn't overcrowd our table all at once. All the dishes were fantastic, but the standouts for me were the seared octopus (deliciously charred!) and bacon wrapped dates (addicting little sweet & savory bites). When we were ordering, we were also curious about the paella, but in the end, the minimum order of 2 servings at $29-35pp felt too high. Drink options are plentiful, and we were surprised that not only do they offer pitchers of sangria, but also spritzes. We ordered the Hugo Spritz (light, refreshing elderflower spritz), and the pitcher was just perfect for sharing for 4. Lovely spot overall, and would love to come back again for a nice dinner out.

But don't let the basement level dissuade you; they really turn their location into a strength. There's a covered "outdoor" section with lots of natural light, and the inside is spacious and modern, with a semi-open kitchen that makes it feel like you're in a place twice its size. The tapas we tried were great. Patatas bravas were crispy on the outside, with a fluffy inside, and maybe a touch too much salt. The hamachi crudo was excellent, with a unique coconut and mango sauce that gave it a touch of sweet to go with the zest. And the pulpo was great, the octopus was well prepared and the sauce was hearty without dominating the taste. The half chicken was the most memorable dish; our server recommended it, and it's clear why. It was unbelievably juicy and tender, with plenty of lemon flavor in every bite. Lots of meat, don't expect a small plate like the other menu items! All in all a good experience in a nice atmosphere, definitely staying on the list for tapas in the future.

To find Debajo you have to find the staircase leading down as this is below ground level - hence the name. MUST GET the patatas bravas - just enough to share between three people but might want to get two orders if your party is more than three. DO NOT GET the queso - it's literally a couple thin slices of cheese, a tiny bowl of almonds, and some tomato mixture. You can add bread for like $7 on top of the original $16 price - actually ridiculous for what you get. The roasted duck breast was flavorful and tender, and the bavette steak was even better.
