The chicken is BBQ'ed in their indoor grill which gives it a nice juicy smokey char and their Basa fish is battered & pan fried fresh. Although the lines may look long sometimes, I noticed they employ more workers during high traffice periods so the it moves along fairly quickly. Compared to other spots, they offer more options which are less highly-processed. For example, you can opt to get baked sweet potato bites instead of pasta / rice (Altho these are also offered!) My favourite flavours for the chicken are honey garlic and bourbon. I have tried others but I find these two to be the best options. They also have a list of dressing for the salad listed on top of the counter so take a look at that beforehand to know what dressing you would like. When they ask if you want the mushroom sauce just say yes as it makes the rice and potatoes that much better. As mentioned earlier they seem to always have a lineup but it moves fairly fast so the wait is usually a lot better than it may appear. This is a nice little gem and I find myself returning time after time. Was told they have juicy chicken and great portion sizes for the price from the entertainment district workers and was not disappointed. Lines go by quick and they grill the chicken in front of you. If you've been to Sammy's before but haven't seen it since, they've really gone through a huge makeover. They specialize in salads and chicken. They also have fish, grilled tofu, and falafel. For the most part, I come here for the grilled chicken, whether it's in a box with rice, potatoes, and salad, or sometimes in a wrap if you feel like getting something you can eat on the go. It is always busy during lunch time. Expect to be in a line of 10-15 people. However, they have 3 or 4 people taking orders and have really streamlined the process so that you can go through your order in less than a minute: what chicken do you want? Rice or potatoes? The best place for a delicious and healthy salad in the downtown core! Whenever I forget to bring my lunch this is the default place that I head to. Unlike the other salad chains, the food at harvest green is always fresh and feels homemade instead of processed, frozen ingredients. The chicken is well seasoned and moist and is bbq-ed right in front of you. They have chicken marinated in various ways depending on the salad chosen and they also have fish and vegetarian options. My favourite is the kale Caesar. The dressing is different than your standard packaged Caesar dressing and the best part is the Parmesan chips! The serving size is good value for money.
