The atmosphere was so cozy and intimate. It's a small little restaurant on the ossington strip and it's super romantic. They are knowing for having farm to table food and great cocktails. We ordered the burrata, the spinach dip and the cauliflower. I also got the chai espresso martini for a cocktail. The burrata was mind blowing, it had a nice combination of creamy from the burrata and sweet from the roasted vegetables. I ate this up so fast, it was so good. The spinach dip was too cheesy it overwhelmed us a bit. It also overpowered the spinach. The cauliflower was spicy and nice but it was too saucy and overwhelming as well. The chai espresso martini was very nice but I couldn't taste the chai, it just tasted like a regular espresso martini, but it was very nicely made. They also had a private event booked at 9:45 and they didn't let us know before our reservation so it was really frustrating and docked a .5, making this place a 3.5. Definitely did not seem professional to do that. Overall a good experience, and would most likely return if they don't book a private event and tell me after I sit down I have to leave after an hour. read more

What an incredible experience! This farm to table restaurant is such a gem. The ingredients are of course so fresh and they do rotate their menus every 2 months so you will always have a reason to come back. The beet salad and beef brisket were to die for and the portions and prices are very reasonable given their quality. The service was also friendly and fun, no snootiness! The space is cozy and intimate and great location. Highly recommend for date night or whenever you want a fantastic meal. read more

Long story short: What a gem! Delicious, fresh food and known for its seasonal bistro-style menu. Beautiful ambiance in a small space with exceptional service. Great location too, on the Ossington strip. Long story long: We ordered the olives and burrata to start, which were delicious! I ordered the seared Digby scallops, which was great, but the potato/leek/cauliflower that the scallops were sitting on could have been a bit more salted, otherwise, it was a delicious, light dish. My sister ordered the Veal, which was falling off the bone and flavourful! Definitely coming back for that with this season's menu, so I don't have to take "just a bite!" It's a smaller space and dimly lit, but has a wonderful atmosphere with red and orange lighting and doesn't feel overcrowded. The service is attentive and kind. It was a nice touch to have a coat check too. Definitely coming by again to try all six veggie seasons! read more

A great concept - seasonally rotated dishes consisting of a protein and side salads, with the ability to customize your bowl or choose from pre selected options. I tried 3 of the bowls they currently have in rotation - the Chicken Verde, Pork, and Baharat Brisket. With the exception of the chicken which had a "burnt grill" flavour, everything on each place was fresh and delicious! read more

Great spot in Ossington to fill your cocktail needs, and that's exactly what a functioning alcoholic like me needs! This spot is cool as hell, with private booths, a disco room, and bumpin' tracks throughout the day. But the main selling point was the service. A bartender/waitress there named Hart.....stole my HEART. Rockin' the cheetah print, and would tend to my alcoholic dependency...a blessing...an angel, if you will. She also recommended I tried the brisket and corn, and boys..were her taste buds right: COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF AT SEASON SIX: shit was DELICIOUS. read more

With their expansion of what could only be described as a daring if not impossible business venture - opening a farm to table takeout restaurant in the middle of a pandemic - Lara and Brook defy the odds yet again. This time, though, they can breathe easier. Season Six in its first incarnation proved to be a crave-worthy, quick and convenient take on nutritious food. With an emphasis on in-season ingredients sourced from people who care about what they grow and raise, I was a big fan of their bi-monthly menu swap which accommodated new, seasonal ingredients (thus the name Season Six). And I wasn't the only one. Season Six has amassed a reliable, hungry group of fans, who no doubt will be thrilled to know that their favourite takeout spot has grown from a tight but busy basement to a beautifully conceived, open space eatery. One has to be terrifically creative to open a restaurant during a pandemic. I look forward to seeing what that kind of creativity translates into with more space to play. read more

Wow, I believe this is my new favorite restaurant! I love the concept...menu changes 6 times a year to match the seasonal produce available. I like that it keeps things fresh and interesting. When we were there it was their late summer menu with items for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. It was a particularly warm day when we were there so we opted to eat inside instead of on their spacious picnic table style patio. I would consider this fast casual dining but the atmosphere and decor felt much nicer than that. While the food was quick presentation was still highly considered. The cocktail (and mock-cocktail) plus food we ordered were delicious. It definitely made me want to come back and see what is in store for each new season! read more

I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary. The menu looked interesting and we were both looking forward to it. I made a reservation well in advance and it was confirmed. Upon arrival the very condescending host informed us that they didn't have any tables available that night but he would be happy to seat us at the bar. Upon asking him why they confirmed a reservation for a table they didn't have he tried to convince me that the bar is 'where the action is' and to next time ask specifically for a table. Who on earth reserves a place at a bar!!! I have never left a yelp review in my life but this was absolutely infuriating especially since I informed them when making the reservation that it was for our anniversary. read more

I'm from LA and I finally found my favorite spot in Toronto. The ingredients here are clean and super high quality. Their menu will change seasonally, but I'm in love with their pesto chicken, glass noodles, and cucumber salad! The pesto chicken has a zesty kick, the glass noodles just hit the spot with a Korean twist, as do the crunchy cucumbers. I stumbled upon it one night since there was a ton of open patio seating and had to return the following day for lunch. read more

One vegetarian option, which was also vegan. Sort of strange considering the entire concept is about vegetables and eating according to their seasons. The item was a mushroom tofu noodle bowl. I was not aware it was a cold dish; would've appreciated a warning. They used gochugaru pepper sauce (which are always delicious) to season the noodles. Nice spice. Salting a bit uneven throughout: generous serving of mushrooms and cucumbers, both of which were properly salted while the noodles themselves needed a few more pinches. Bathrooms were a bit worse for wear. Would come back for a healthy takeout lunch, but probably won't return for dinner. read more
