The coffee is excellent too. I added a blueberry scone and banana/chocolate muffin (brought in from a local bakery), which were both quite good. The back area is a cool local bookstore, which I unfortunately did not have time to peruse. There is also a nice outdoor seating area along with very adequate amounts of inside seating. That area of Omaha is blessed with some good Java shops with good vibes. Perfect for a thriving midtown area. Blue Line Coffee is a neighborhood destination shop that quite obviously have a local clientele. Good stuff. Cheers.

The service is quick and efficient and the coffee was wonderful. I got a caramel latte with oat milk and my partner got an Arnold Palmer. It's my favorite type of espresso balance, smooth and sweet and has a beautiful flavor. The vibe inside is very crunchy, they have reusable utensils, lids that don't need straws, and a discount if you bring your own cup!

And for the shopper, they have lots of small decor, gifts, and actual coffee beans for sale. But the star of the show is the coffee drinks themselves! I had the pumpkin spice latte (it was Autumn, so I am allowed!), and it was creamy, had a good spice to it, and smooth. I would definitely get that again. But I look forward to trying more flavors soon! Village Grinder is a cute little cafe to stop by while you're in Countryside Village. Always nice to grab a coffee or treat while you shop - and it's great that you can even shop inside Village Grinder too!

We took a trip to Seattle this fall & the shop definitely gives that same vibe!!! They have coffee, lotus/Red Bull infusions, & dirty sodas. I've had every single kind, and they haven't missed. Zach says it might just be the best coffee he's had!!! While they didn't taste like fruity pebbles, the drinks were delicious. They were really fruity as the raspberry flavoring was definitely there. The drink had the perfect balance of fruitiness and coffee flavor. The staff member who helped us was super kind, and our drinks were made very quick. They only offered one herbal option (lavender mint) but unfortunately I could only taste the mint and didn't notice any lavender. They did have other caffeine-free drinks available, but I was looking for something unsweetened and low in sugar. The space was also different than I expected. Based on the name, I imagined a cozy, relaxing atmosphere with comfortable lounge seating. Instead, the décor felt a bit mismatched, almost like the café had expanded over time and the two sides were decorated very differently. That said, one thing they absolutely got right was the amount of seating. There were plenty of tables and space to work, study, or catch up with a friend without feeling crowded. The biggest downside was the cleanliness. The bathroom didn't feel clean, there were stains on the floors, chipped paint and damaged walls, crumbs around the couches and on some of the chairs, and the dish return bins were noticeably dirty inside. I stayed for about 90 minutes, and during that time I didn't see any cleaning happening, even though there were several areas that clearly needed attention. None of these issues alone would have been a dealbreaker, but together they made the café feel neglected and took away from what otherwise could have been a much more enjoyable experience.

With a featured drink like this, I'm bound to return for other seasons! The only reason I even tried this unique combo was the delightful barista who talked me thought the different seasonal offerings. She was friendly and fast paced! The environment was filled with windows and some small plants - the perfect place to accomplish some laptop tasks. I can't wait to go back!

I loved Hardy Coffee!…read more It was our last morning in Omaha and I really needed something besides hotel coffee to start my day. I saw that this place was nearby on Yelp and once I googled them I realized I could place an online order for pickup. If you know me, you know I love a good order ahead option! We did just that and my husband walked over to get the coffee and return. I had their espresso tonic and it was absolutely lovely. This was hands down the best coffee I had in Omaha and I hope to return someday!
