The produce always looks bad and wilty like its been sitting out for weeks. The prices are approx. .60 -1.50 more per item no matter what you buy here... this adds up when people are on a budget this day and age. You have to watch what you're purchasing and always check for expiration dates. I noticed things on the shelf in the baking Isle that had expired 6 months ago. Usually I find most items on the shelf here have expiration dates that only give 1-3 months to use something up.... you are paying more than full price for things that you won't have the chance to even use it all before it expires. I don't believe I will be shopping any Needlers stores in the near future. I will drive 18 miles to go to the nearest Walmart or Kroger stores to shop in other towns. Honestly I don't understand how this store is being profitable in this area, most people here in this town cannot afford to shop here. Then to come in here and see the things I have mentioned, this is enough to make me run in another direction. When I was in the store on 4/16/26 around 4pm there were approx. 5 people stocking shelves, so why wasn't the expired food and poor looking produce being removed from shelves? No matter how bad the produce is, they don't reduce the price for quick sale. Which most stores will reduce pricing when items aren't selling and start to look dated or spoiling. I can honestly say Needlers has lost my business for good!

At the front of the store, when you enter by the produce, there are always fresh items on sale. If you sign up in their app for your phone, you can clip coupons and get even better deals. Many times the produce at the front of the store is cheaper than you can find at Meijer or Kroger. Right now, they have Florida strawberries for $1.50 with a clipped coupon, asparagus for $2.50 a pound, and cherry tomatoes for $1.50 a container. All of these prices beat Meijer.... I know, because I was just there! What I also like about Harvest Market is there are plenty of employees walking around the store and restocking items. It is always very easy to find someone to answer a question. This is unlike some grocery stores where you have to go to Customer Service to get any help and then wait in a line to reach the counter. Don't forget Harvest Market for your grocery needs!

He started by saying this was a long time ago, he asked if I he'd left them out in the car over night, if i had waited a long time to use them. The answer was no i had a picture take the next day after the label date from the day before. He then told me that I needed to take them as he did not want any rotten meat. So he took the first for poorly trimmed replacement and packaged them up as I was put them in my cold bag he said I need to take the other one with me. I dont know his name but he was a tallest guy in the back. As I left I told the people upfront (again nice people) that after 10 years of buying here I would not be back. We really like the place and want to support local place but bad employees or maybe he was an owner but either this is how you end up with another empty building in a small town.

I probably do 90% of my shopping here. You put a quarter in your shopping cart to unlock it. Once you are finished with it you push it back in and get your quarter back. Make sure to bring your own bags or you can buy some of theirs. They have reusable ones you can purchase and use over and over again. They also always have boxes that you can put your groceries in, free of charge. Come check it out. You will save money and be glad that you did.
