What's not to like for two burgers fries or onion rings and two drinks for $11+ taxes for CAA members? They will give us Veggie Burgers on a whole grain bun and all the toppings we like including guacamole and tzatziki. We top with onion rings and sometimes even with fries! The burgers delicious, perfectly cooked fries and onion rings and we sometimes upgrade the fries to a Poutine of which the gravy is vegetarian as well. The location was clean, staff cheerful and the manager on duty who had to help out the cashier was even better!

My only concern was that the box was cold - I saw them put the chicken in the box from the racks. Food under the heat lamps should stay hot, so not sure why my chicken were not.

There are a few booths towards the edges and one high top in the middle. It wasn't busy at all so we had time to look at the menu. I liked that they had the calorie information on the menu since fried chicken can add up pretty quick. I went with the two piece combo. This comes with a choice of side and a fountain drink. They have Coke fountain drinks. There was a sign that if you wanted a refill, you must ask the employees for help. They have paper straws that were pretty sturdy and lasted throughout the meal. They may have had a slight paper flavour however. The chicken did not look appetizing at all. I think the oil was way too cold when they started frying because it was a pale yellowy colour with the smoothest fry I've ever seen on the outside. This is sort of unheard of but I picked up all the skin and discarded it. It was flavourless and not worth eating. The chicken underneath was actually quite moist though which was nice. The chicken pieces were really small. Normally you get a drumstick and thigh at any of these places. It was no different here but they were small. I normally can't finish all of the thigh piece but I easily finished it. The fries were pretty good though. The honey butter biscuit was alright. It was fluffy on the inside. Smaller than the Popeyes ones. The total for lunch was $27. Not unexpected these days but the quality of food was not there.

I opted for the sweet potato fries which I found a little undercooked but otherwise still good. The tenders and the sauce was very delicious and I'd come by again to try more. I've also heard that their burgers are good. Good portion for the tenders platter. -1 point for the poor packaging for takeout. Something (perhaps the sauce) was leaking through, despite having changed the takeout bag. Didn't want my car to get dirty. Packaging can be improved for future orders.

It's the tiny touches of hospitality that truly elevate a property. I ordered the Sriracha Burger, and boy, this thing packs flavor! The pepper jack cheese provided a wonderful spicy kick, the crispy onion straws offered a lovely crunch, and the sriracha aioli tied everything together with a creamy heat that built just perfectly. Each bite was a perfect combination of savory, spicy, and sloppy - everything you look for in a fantastic burger. The fries were golden, crispy, and well-seasoned; there's no need for ketchup unless you're a die-hard dipper. My kids ordered the Chicken Tender Platter with Fries. The tenders were juicy and crunchy, definitely produced from fresh ingredients rather than the usual frozen stuff available elsewhere. The meal size was generous, and the fries on the side were kid-friendly (read: gone in minutes).

This eatery takes me twenty minutes to backroad it along Eglinton Avenue West from the office, followed by hanging a left to get to the eatery. This eatery is located in a huge plaza with a ton of eateries and businesses. I lot of these eateries have Halal offerings. I backed into an available spot steps away from Chachu's main entrance and walked in. Staff are extremely friendly and patient. I have consumed the following items in the past: - Chapli beef kebab bowl - Chicken tikka wrap - Tandoori chicken wrap - Canada Dry - Coke Zero The food is Pakistani with a modern twist. The portions are generous. The chapli beef kebab was incredible. The kebab had the best crispy edges around each beef kebab patty. I got two patties that were flavourful and juicy. I liked the salad. The beef kebab had a bit of spice. The salad provided a nice contrast and cooling factor. The rice was fluffy and excellent. This entire meal was filling. I knew that I couldn't down any of the wraps. My canned beverages were cold and refreshing. No complaints. I had both wraps at home. I heated these wraps up in the microwave. I dampened a paper towel and placed it over both wraps, which rehydrates them as they warm up. The chicken tikka was tender. It has more of a spice kick than the tandoori chicken. I liked the diced, sautéed onion and green pepper, along with the sauces. It was so good with the paratha as the wrapper. It was comfort food in a convenient grab-and-go, no-fuss bundle of deliciousness. The tandoori chicken was equally as amazing. The chicken morsels were moist with the perfect tandoori flavour. The paratha and the sauces made this wrap a winner with the tandoori chicken. On this visit, I got the milk cake. He let me know that it was delivered fresh on Tuesday. I was here on a Wednesday. I bought one. It was divine! I highly recommend it if you like a unique dessert that has a touch of sweetness. There is a single stall washroom. You have to push the door open, which I didn't get until the nice male staffer helped me with it. the washroom was exceptionally clean and maintained nicely. I am a fan of Chachu. The food is yummy. Staff are friendly and wonderful. It's great here. (501)

I was the only individual in the restaurant, which was to be expected considering the weather. When I had first walked in, I was surprised at how clean and spacious the restaurant was. This place was geared more towards take-out, as there were only a few tables set-up for dining. However, there was a lot of floor space, which made it easy to maneuver around the restaurant. I had approached the front counter, and explained where I was from, and what I was doing. The man behind the counter was young, and very friendly; he told me to choose two wraps, two drinks, and the type of meat that I wanted for my bowl. I settled on the tandoori chicken bowl with rice and fries, and the beef paratha roll, along with the chicken tikka paratha roll. My order was taken and prepared by the same individual that I had seen when I first walked-in. Since it was only me in the restaurant, service was quick. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much food I was given! One large container of rice with tandoori chicken and french fries on top, then topped with a delicious sauce; such a well-prepared and amazing dish! Everything was fresh and tasty; the chicken was tender and flavourful, while the fries were crunchy, adding a nice crunch to the dish. The rolls were even better; the beef paratha roll had tender pieces of beef, rolled in a soft paratha, with sauce dispersed over the beef. The chicken tikka roll was just as yummy however, I definitely enjoyed the beef roll the most. Overall, this place really impressed me; the service was excellent, along with the casual setting, and the relaxed atmosphere. The food was a large portion, and filled me up completely. Very excellent prices as well, and food was authentic. Would most definitely come back to this restaurant, and would urge you all to try it as well; you won't regret it!

I came here for my anniversary with my boyfriend and we enjoyed our meal. We made a reservation for around 7pm, and they took us to the patio outside. I personally prefer being seated indoors, as it can get either too hot or too cold in the winter, but it is quite nice when the weather cooperates. The tables are also personally on the small side so keep that in mind if you're planning to order many appetizers. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and served us quickly. We ordered beef tacos to start. We usually get the fish tacos (which are some of our favourite tacos in the city) but we wanted to try something new. These tacos were great and the sauces were amazing. We then had the Burrata Fresco. It was our first time having this as well and we were quite pleased with it. The cheese was super creamy and went super well with the bread. Usually, the mains take a while to come, especially if you come on a weekend night (this was Father's day weekend, so it took a bit longer than usual) Finally we got to our mains. He had his usual, the Chimichurri steak sandwich, and I got a fish and chips, which i had never tried before. His steak was great and cooked really well. I've had the steak sandwich before as well and it was super well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Do keep in mind they only serve it with one slice of bread, though you can add an additional slice to make it a real sandwich. My fish and chips were good as well. The fish was thickly battered and was a little on the oily side but it wasn't bad. It went great with the truffle fries I ordered. The slaw was purple cabbage, which I think I prefer to the green cabbage kind. The restaurant was kind enough to give us a free cheesecake on the side with a cool flame sparkler for me and my boyfriend's anniversary. It was quite good and we thought is was quite generous of the restaurant. Overall, Taps is a great all rounder place to get food with your family or friends. They serve great pizzas here as well and I haven't had a dish I was disappointed with yet. It is on the pricier side, but if you have the ability to splurge, this is a great place to do so.

For my main I got the truffle mushroom ravioli, it was good but got a bit too salty towards the end. I also tried a slice of the pepperoni which was good as well. The patio was really busy when we went so I'd recommend making a reservation in advance!
