I took my truck here to get the state inspection so I could get it licensed in Missouri shortly after we moved here. During their inspection I was told I had a bad ball joint in the front end that would have to be replaced to get the sticker. I didn't have the time or space, so I had them do it (almost $500.00 for the repair) and got the sticker. Barely 10,000 miles later (currently) I went to get the inspection renewed (different shop because they no longer do the inspections) and was shown that one of the ball joints they had replaced was bad again. A ball joint is a part that should last 100 + thousand miles. I called them on Thursday afternoon (9 May) and got voicemail and left a message. The owner called me back the next day (Friday) and told me they had gotten some bad ball joints from the supplier and that they had a lifetime warranty (I have my receipt), but the labor "might not" be covered (half the cost of the repair) by the supplier (He doesn't seem to warranty his own work?). The owner told me he would talk to the supplier and get back to me. A week later (Friday, 17 May), I called him (he hadn't called yet) and was told that the ball joints "might" be covered under warranty but I "waited too long for the labor to be covered and if it had only been a year or so they might have covered it" (It's not a daily driver and I have barely put 10,000 miles on it in this time) and he wanted me to bring it in for them to look at. I made an appointment (with him) at a set date and time (Monday 20 May by 4:00 PM) and as I was pulling in at around 3:45, he said he was leaving for "an appointment" but that his guys would look at it and call him. 2 people looked at my truck for about 5 -10 minutes and kept saying they couldn't find the issue (to be fair, I had mistakenly mentioned the top ball joint, which was incorrect, it was the bottom), even though the was an obvious noise when they pried up on the tire. They finally found that it was the lower one. The one mechanic (the owner's son apparently) called who I assumed to be the owner and spent another 10 minutes or so talking while going back and forth from looking at the truck to going off out of ear shot from me. At one point he mentioned something about the grease fitting, but then went off to where I couldn't hear again. The mechanic finally brought out a pen and pad and told me that the owner wanted me to write down my name and number and he would call me in the morning (Tuesday 21 May). I did that and left. It's now Tuesday, 28 May (I have to get the inspection and get the truck licensed by the end Of May) and he has never called (second time he's done that). Yesterday (27 May), I got under the truck and started looking at the ball joints and discovered that the lower ball joint wasn't greased when it was installed, and the grease fitting was even loose (never fully installed). The ball joint may or may not have been bad, but it was not installed correctly BY THEM (has to be greased once installed). SAVE YOUR MONEY AND KEEP YOUR VEHICLES SAFE! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!!!

You were bad mouthing our mechanics before they even had a chance to look at it and we felt you would be better taking your vehicle elsewhere where you would be happier with the mechanics and where someone else would be willing to put up with your bad behavior after your repeated rude and hateful pushy calls . I was met with rude behavior, and they gave me no indication they even looked at the van yet (they had it 5 days at this point, after waiting 2 weeks for the appointment). At this point I was a little short because I had an appointment... only to finally hear from Tony's mouth that he was behind schedule and hadn't even looked at it yet. He could have told me that when I dropped it off or at any time prior to (and including) my call. He told me he wouldn't get to it for another 3 days, which I reluctantly accepted. I chose to go here on a referral from my regular mechanic, whom I called after talking to Tony to make sure this wasn't a 2 bit, fly-by-night operation (which it is). 15 minutes after talking to my mechanic, I was then contacted by Tony and told to come get my van. He didn't like me checking on his integrity, he didn't like that he was wrong and I knew it. His short-man syndrome came out in full force and he blew his top... hardly professional and very childish. He's a liar, a cheat, and you should steer clear of this company by any and all means necessary.

We have never been to this area and we're looking forward to a relaxing weekend. After about a 3 1/2 hour drive, we got off the highway and filled up with gas before heading to the State Park. As we left the gas station, I stated that it sounds like there are rocks in the tires. The comment I received back was "I did not pack any rocks " then he realizes that the power steering is going out and unable to stop without putting all his weight on the brakes. We went through two stop signs and came to a stop in the local police station parking lot. Two blocks up from us was Mike's Automotive so my husband walked to the shop to see if we could get any help. It is 3pm on a Friday afternoon and the temperature in the mid 90's. Within 10 minutes here comes my husband riding in a truck with the Owner/Mechanic from the shop. Gary was his name and he tells my husband to drive his truck back to the shop and he would drive the camper Who is the cape crusader! At the shop, hot as hell outside, Gary pulls the broken serpentine belt out of the engine. At this point I am thinking we are staying in Warsaw over the weekend and into the next week. My husband gets in the camper and says Gary ordered the part and should be there soon and will get us back on the road shortly. What the heck!!! Are you serious!!! So this guy dropped everything he was doing to help us out??? You could see he was busy and cars in his shop that he was working on. Now it is 4pm and Gary has the new belt on the engine. He then says, so does $80 sound fair? Who is this guy???? Yes fair to us but not to you! We gladly paid the $80 and left a tip that I hope showed our appreciation. Before we left, a gentleman that was there at the shop gave us home grown vegetables that were amazing. We got into our camper and looked at each other trying to understand what just happened. We actually both had tears in our eyes. We had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the wonderful vegetables! Thank you Gary for your time, professionalism and being a great human being!

I went to visit my sister. And I heard the black liner under the tire rubbing terribly. I had no service or tools. So I continued my journey. 2 month or less I hit a big raccoon that caused 1,700$ worth of damage. Car was still drivable. Truthfully I didn't realize there was damage. I chose another body shop. Weavers. Cliff calls me and said I was told to call you. Well the only person I can imagine that would have told him. Was state farm. I told him politely I took my car to weavers. He hung up on me. I got tickled really. Fast forward to today. I called and asked where he bought this smaller battery than I ever had in my car. Well it's leaking. Corrosion is terrible. My car engine light came on and I was at my mechanic when I saw this corrosion. So I left cliff a message to call me to find out where this battery came from. It's clearly defective. This asshole had the balls to tell me my mechanic should be able to tell. I asked if he would recommend a mechanic. He had the nerve to say I was hard to work with. I hung up on him at this point. He's impossible to work with. I'm not the one who put the front bumper on and the black liner to protect the tire. HIS SHOP DID THIS. AND HE REFUSED TO TELL ME WHERE THE BATTERY CAME FROM. SERIOUSLY. IF YOU EXSPECT YOUR CAR TO BE IN THE SAME CONDITION AS PRIOR TO YOUR ACCIDENT. DONT USE THIS ASSHOLE. He needs to put his butt hurt feeling aside. And guarantee his work. And to not disclose where he got the battery from is simply childish. I'm sorry his work is shotty at best. And I decided to use another body shop. So now I'm letting state farm deal with me and him. I hope he is no longer a preferred shop according to state farm when I'm done with him.

First trip I waited for the boat, and mechanic came out and showed me what he found multiple times. I am pretty mechanical myself, and these guys weren't trying to sell me service I didn't need, they were just being honest and doing what was right.
