In summary - Service and drinks, rock! Food and wait, not so much. So come here looking for good cocktails and smiley faces but be willing to go slow and hang out for a while. Location is super convenient. For drinks - I got a glass of Prosecco with a side of OJ and hubby got the Flo-J (highly recommend if you like OJ). Kid got pineapple juice and loved it so he got another one. Food was just OK! Unfortunately, we were looking for something a little bit better than Snooze or DBC and this did not come to fruition. My husband got the pork hash and son got the biscuits and gravy. He actually didn't like it at all (biscuits were huge but dry and chunky) so we ended up ordering the mini trio of pancakes instead. Not worth the hype. Service was okay, nothing special. Wait time wasn't bad either, but the food was not as good as it is hyped up to be. We got the big cast iron skillet cinnamon roll, and it wasn't very good. Almost no cinnamon in it at all and it was drowning in icing. It tasted like it had been taken out of a freezer and just microwaved. We got the mini hot cake trio which was probably the best thing, the pancakes were pretty big for being "mini" and could easily be split between two people. The variety of the pancakes really shined and they were all pretty good. We got the wake and bake skillet too and that was pretty good as well. It was cooked well but it was lacking seasoning. The avocado toast was easily the WORST thing on the menu. It was one piece of bread, smashed avocado that had no seasoning whatsoever, not even lemon, and the tomatoes were literally just thrown on the toast. Not even cut so as soon as you picked it up they all rolled off... not good at all. I feel like in general my biggest takeaway was that this place doesn't own seasoning in their kitchen. It's a very cute place though, seating and lighting was nice, but let's be honest, we're not here for the ambiance, we're here for the food, and I don't plan on coming back. read more

Delicious! I had the Huevos Rancheros (can't usually resist when I see this listed on a menu!) and it was fantastic. Often places are very stingy with sauces but my dish was swimming and I loved it! Kudos. Hubs had the Tijuana Benedict. Though the English muffin was really good, I don't think it really goes with the dish. I think a spicy polenta cake would have been better. My daughter had the kids meal and it was so pretty I had to take a picture. She loved everything. The bloody marys were good too and everyone was nice and attentive. We will be back! read more

Everything our party ordered was super delicious. Everything on the menu sounds amazing. It's hard to pick what to order. The chipotle chicken, and waffles was delish, waffle stays crispy and chicken has some of the best chipotle topping I've ever tasted! Drinks!!!!! I had an espresso martini and it was great! Chocolatey, not too sweet and not too strong. My friends all ordered various drinks, and everybody raved about the drinks they had. Nobody was disappointed. Great vibe! Super cute ambiance. They have a great patio which would be fun to eat brunch in the summer and fall. They are busy so go early or make a reservation. We went on a Sunday and beat the rush, but barely. Food is good! We got the highly rated cinnamon rolls and they were pretty good. I think the homemade cream cheese frosting was the best part. The bun itself was a little dry but I'm very picky about baked goods. Otherwise the eggs Benedict was my favorite. We saw that hashtag opened and knew that we had to try it once we saw that there was a cinnamon roll. We tried the cinnamon roll and were very surprised at how good it was. I think it is in our top 3 CR's that we have had. The frosting on top is cream cheese and very good. It is a very big serving but was great to share and we really enjoyed it. We also ordered the breakfast burrito which we substituted potatoes for the meat. We thought it was great and has amazing flavors and the avocado was amazing. Then I ordered the Benedict and substitute the chorizo for chicken and it was great! I love Benedict's and haven't found one that I do not like. The service was great and fast with refilling our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance of the restaurant is so cute with a full bar in the middle and plants all over the walls and ceiling and it brings such color and life to the rooms. What a great addition to this strip mall. The food was wonderful, atmosphere is great, service is amazing. My son loves Disneyland so when he saw a dole whip drink and churros it was on! The dole whip is a mimosa but the bartender was able to make it without the champagne but added sprite. She even came over to the table to make sure he liked it, it was super yummy. The churros are the best you can find away from Disneyland. Made in house, hot and crispy. I had the chiliqueles, huge portion, just the right amount of spice and the pork on top was so tender. Biscuits were as big as your head! Very flavorful too. The burrito is also a massive size and my son loved it. I was impressed with my poached eggs, perfectly cooked. A welcome brunch spot on the south side! This shopping center gets very, very busy. However, I have always found a parking spot even if it is a bit of a walk. Hashtag is right on the end and you can see its sign from the street. It has a few outdoor seating areas and a beautifully done interior. The bar is set right in the middle of the restaurant and there's booths all around. They have a simple menu and I ended up with the chicken and waffles. One of my friends had the French toast along with the pork hash. The other had the Pho, which was surprising to see on the menu. The one with the pho stated they were pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the pho and it was quite spicy. The hash had great flavor, the pork was tender and the slaw helped cut through all the toppings. The French toast was crispy and soft, completely drenched in delicious sauce and fruit. My chicken and waffles were sweet and savory,just the way it's suppose to be. I think the only complaint I had was the music. It was quite loud and I could barely hear anything my friends were saying. Otherwise, it's a great spot to meet up with friends or have a solo meal. read more

I've eaten here multiple times because my sister lives nearby. It's always a great option for breakfast on my visits to Denver. They have delicious coffee and, even though I'm normally a black coffee girl, I'll add cream to it when I go to Hashtag because they give you a cute little cup of real cream with your coffee. They also have house made flavor syrups for your coffee if you so choose. Last time we stopped in, we were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait, but it only ended up to be about 5 minutes. We went for a yelp event and this was such a delicious brunch! We started our first drinks with the strawberry kombucha vodka drink and it was delicious, it tasted like a pink drink! The spam bite was sooo delicious and savory. The breakfast casserole and eggs Benedict with hash browns were filled with flavor and the perfect brunch duo. My ultimate favorite was the churro pancake! This pancake is the best pancake I've ever had and it was the perfect mix of churro with fillings. We continuously receive recommendations for this restaurant, so...we decided to give it a try. It is important to remember that this is my opinion and I understand that we all have different tastes. Ok, biscuits and gravy are a true southern staple if not a nation-wide staple and the biscuits themselves tend to be a bit on the dry side no matter where you get them. These biscuits are even dryer than most. The gravy is thicker than most and has a spice that, if not cinnamon, it mimics it very well. The color of the gravy is less than appetizing, too. I personally love the taste of traditional sausage gravy and although I'm open to trying something new, this flavor profile is not something I'll order again. As a matter of fact, my wife and I shared them with eggs and hash browns and, between the two of us, ate less than 1/2 of one biscuit.. Lastly, the eggs were, well eggs; nothing to write home about. We were able to get in right away and we're very accommodating with storing my mom's walker while we ate breakfast lots of choices and definite twist on breakfast foods we were kind of plain and just ordered eggs and bacon but it was delicious service was amazing. The food wasn't very hot but the flavor made up for that. They add a 4% fair wage gratuity onto the bill and I'm not a big fan of that because I already tipped when I found out. Yum yum yum! We really enjoyed coming here for Brunch. I got a Bloody Mary to start and it was really good! Our food came out really hot and we ate every bite. The menu has a touch of Mexican flare which was fun, but unless you're in the mood for that there wasn't much else to choose from (in my opinion). They came around and offered seconds, which was very nice, because the portions felt small. All the while, they kept the drinks coming! The best part was the service. HashTAG unfortunately does not take reservations. They also do not have a space inside to wait for a table. People are left waiting outside. I went on a Sunday, mid-morning. We were told our wait would be 30+ minutes. Luckily we found seats at the bar after 20 minutes. The restaurant gets crowded and there isn't much walk space for both customers and servers carrying food. The staff at the bar were super friendly and attentive. I ordered a mimosa flight. It was fun and unique. There was even a pineapple and a lime mimosa. I also ordered the Old School Benedict. The serving size is rather large! The eggs were light and fluffy, cooked perfectly! The sauce was a little on the tangy side, but overall I really liked it. I would be willing to try HashTAG again in hopes the wait time is less and the restaurant isn't as crowded. read more
