It features tender, butter-poached jumbo shrimp with a subtle kick from the Calabrian chili, balanced by artichoke and a bright Chablis spritz, all served with toasted focaccia. While it's meant for sharing, I had it as my entrée and it was satisfying and packed with flavor. I paired it with the prickly pear margarita with tequila, which was as beautiful as it was delicious. The baby Caesar was beautifully balanced, and the whipped feta was excellent. While the hot smoked salmon wasn't quite my preference (I would've personally enjoyed the board more with just the cold smoked salmon), that's more of a personal taste than a flaw in execution. Postino's is sexy. There, I said it. And while we did stop in for a family evening, I could tell right away that I could see myself in a silk number with a pair of heels. The cool lighting matched with warm accents could make it the perfect date spot or a place to go with friends, and you would be pleasantly satisfied. Postino's is the spot you stop in when you want something light, but more than a salad or a sandwich, OR a more elevated salad or sandwich. Our server was so kind, extremely versed in the menu, and helped us to order a few things customized to our flavor. We ordered the Meatballs and Goat Cheese, OMG Grilled Cheese with a Tomato Soup (I switched for the soup of the moment) Caesar salads, an Italian Beef Dip, and the kiddo got a grilled cheese. Yes - I know going to Postino's and not ordering a board is a crime - we will be back. Caesar Salad (10/10) - the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and fresh and crunchy greens. I was very pleased with my salad and would love to experience more of their salads Meatballs and Goat Cheese (8/10) - Delicious, in every piece of the definition, the only thing I wish it had more of was the goat cheese. I am a huge goat cheese fan, and while I understand it can be overpowering, I think a few more scoops would have done numbers in this dish. Our meatballs were also slightly overcooked, but that was easily fixed with the pomodoro. OMG Cheese and Tomato Bisque Soup (9/10) - I added some chicken to the OMG Grilled Cheese, along with arugula, and it really elevated the flavor. I also loved that I switched the soup that it came with for something a little chunkier to add that contrast when I dipped it. I think if you really enjoy grilled cheese like I do, this stand-alone would do numbers as the selected cheeses on it carry such diverse flavors. I did not try the Italian Beef Dip, but the wife gave it a solid 8/10 for flavor. I have my eyes on quite a few things for when we come back, and I look forward to trying all of the delicious offerings. read more

There was a 40 minute wait, but we grabbed a seat in the couch waiting area and were called almost immediately to be seated!
