great location, plenty of parking, clean establishment, & typically very busy. the wait is roughly 15-40 minutes depending upon time of day. staff is friendly, but service is a bit slow and the servers are a bit negligent when it comes to drink refills, checking in to see if food is as ordered, if we need anything, etc. the pizza is great! the waffle fries are perfectly seasoned and fried. the chicken wings are hit or miss & the carrots & celery that accompany them are dry, off-color, and altogether off-putting. the burger was ok. could use more seasoning and just bc we ask to nix the bun, you should not nix the pickles and other toppings with it. breakfast sandwiches are pretty good. the large biscuits leave you wanting for more of the innards. prices are reasonable, and in line with portion size. we were famished, so i only grabbed pix of breakfast! read more

So many different biscuit sandwiches to choose from, there's one for everybody. I went here with some friends for breakfast and it was a good choice. We all shared the giant cinnamon roll. It was more of a cinnamon sugar biscuit than a traditional cinnamon roll, but large enough for four of us to share. It was a little dry in some parts so definitely grab a spoonful of the glaze when you put it on your plate. The overall flavor was fine and I'm really glad I shared it with friends. I heard you could get one frozen to go and you just heated up at home just as good. For my sandwich, I ordered the Lola. It's a Buttermilk Biscuit Sandwich with Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Bacon, House Made Honey Butter + covered in Maple Syrup. Pro tip, have the maple syrup on the side or your hands will be very sticky when trying to eat it. The overall flavor of the biscuit, fried chicken, bacon, honey butter, and maple syrup was a really good combo! The biscuit was just a little more crumbly than I'm used to, so I struggled eating it as a whole sandwich. I would definitely get it again, but cut it up into bite-size pieces and eat it with my fork. Space was pretty clean and decor was fun for the restaurant. This is a chain but the menu is not overwhelming. Staff was really friendly and recommended the coffee bar, which was a godsend in the morning. The biscuit sandwich is huge for the price but nothing too crazy. OMG, what an incredible biscuit. Denver Biscuit ( part of the Atomic Cowboy family) is off the charts. This was our first time, and Rees walked us through the menu. Nickel and dime customers with deceptive bait and switch practices. That is the impression I walk away with. The food itself was fine, but easily not worth the price. They put a $1 swipe fee on the bill and assume you will pay with credit card. They tell you that if you pay with cash, then they take off that fee. This fee is not advertised anywhere. They should just bake that into food cost, or at least be upfront about the fee. Also, credit card swipes rarely cost exactly $1. So what do they really do with that money? The proper thing to do would be to bake the cost into pricing, and then offer a discount for those who pay with cash. But they are probably too embarassed to bake it into pricing because prices are already too high. Want plain drip black coffee? That will be $4.50. Also set a minimum amount for being able to use credit card. I know this because I used to run a business where about half of the customers paid with credit card. Ok, let's actually talk about service and food. Service was unnecessarily slow. It was a good pace, if the restaurant were packed, but the restaurant was not packed. They sat us by the bar, and I just watched the servers talking and laughing and messing around while we were waiting to place an order. I had to flag down our server twice. As far as food goes, the hash browns looked like they came out of a frozen pack from Walmart and they were way over salted. The biscuits were too sweet. The syrup was that thick, fake, gooey stuff. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Bacon was nice, and fried chicken was alright. Sausage gravy was unique, in a good way, but only okay in raw deliciousness. Food: 3.5 stars Service: 3 stars Value: 2 stars Overall would have been 3 stars, but knocking down to 2 stars for unethical practices on approach to credit card fees. read more

Went here for Father's Day brunch and it was great. Fast service and fun ambiance. The DIY coffee bar was neat with delicious coffee. Large portions all around. My sister and I split the Franklin Sandwich and the Biscuit French Toast. Their biscuits are delicious and all the elements of the sandwich were amazing. The chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, the bacon was crispy and perfectly cooked, and the sausage gravy was bursting with flavor. The French toast biscuit was yummy with just the right amount of sweetness and the fruit compote that came with was a nice extra touch. Our table split their biscuit cinnamon roll as an appetizer which was interesting. Great flavor and a ton of delicious cream cheese icing but the cinnamon roll itself was super hard (stale or over cooked) on the outside so only the inside was edible. My husband also had another one of the biscuit sandwiches which he really enjoyed and I tried some of his Parmesan garlic waffle fries which were amazing. We have been here twice now and both times have been great! I have had the biscuits and gravy then the Franklin sandwich. Both are just amazing! The gravy they use is so good and has tons of flavor not like some places where it just tastes like flour. The Franklin is just as amazing and you get a big piece of chicken on it but the biscuits are also huge. Their buffalo sauce is amazing too and tastes great. The service here is always fantastic and even on busy days they get your food to you quickly. I will day prepare to wait if you go on the weekend or at breakfast time because there is always a line out the door. It is so worth it though. I love the atmosphere in here as well and they have it very retro looking. I love coming here and will continue to do so! read more

So much YES for a spot that was desperately needed around here. Dare I say this is currently my favorite burger in the area?! I've been a few times now and just love it for so many reasons. The food is great, they have a full bar, awesome patio for when the sun is out, and they make it easy to get on the waitlist from home. I know it's Denver BISCUIT company, but I really really love the lights out burger. My husband and I like to share it along with an order of Sully's fries for a perfect brunch meal. Everything I've tried has been good though and the cinnamon roll is an extra special treat if you're looking for something on the sweeter side. I saw on my last visit that they now have pizza at this location which I've had at the other and will definitely be trying. It gets crowded so I would definitely look ahead for the waitlist via their website. If you get there early, you can sip on complimentary coffee while you wait. For other sips, I definitely recommend the spicy Bloody Mary if you're in the mood. If you're in need of a highchair, I recommend letting them know upon checking in, as not all of their tables can accommodate (they really pack in the tables to fit the crowd).
