While I was hiking Zion, I left my dog back at the cabin. She got separation anxiety and I realized that I couldn't leave her by herself a second day. This tiny creature turned into a damn Tasmanian devil. Don't let her cute furry face fool you. I called Darlene around 3pm and told her I was looking for someone to board my dog overnight since I was scheduled to leave to Zion the next morning at 6am. Darlene was great. Luckily she had the room to board her on such short notice. She said she could take her and would even let her sleep with her since that is our usual practice. She asked important questions like - does she get along with other dogs? How old is she? Does she sleep alone? Now, afterwards I might have had a little separation anxiety myself giving my dog to a perfect stranger but honestly, she couldn't have been in better care. Side note: Darlene seems to be a staple in this area for dog care and training. I've heard MULTIPLE people rave about her training. If I lived closer I would absolutely send my dog to her.

These kids thrive with the structure and reward for their hard work. It's amazing to see what these kids are capable of doing under the amazing guidance of Sharla & Amber! The private lesson are incredible as well. Each lesson is catered towards each child's personality & skill level. I'm so impressed that the teachers are able to help my strong willed fearless child and well as my timid one.

"Please help me, please help my cat!" You, behind the counter explained that I would need a means of prepayment before you would help me, a credit card number would do. "I don't have a credit card, please save my cat!" Your slight smile as you suggested that I call a friend to secure payment before you would help, my cat now convulsing, dying in my arms. SHAME ON YOU! I begged you. My cat died later that day. This was just over ten years ago and I still remember clearly the cruel and disgusting way in which you treated me in my desperation to save my cat. You have no business practicing in the care of anything!

In my opinion, the best way to do that is to take a nice trail ride with some real live cowboys-and that's just what we did! Booking online is easy and the follow up instructions are clear with perfect map instructions to arrive at the meet up location. I got a few text reminders too. Chase and Jake were our guides and they did a wonderful job of making us feel comfortable. The horses, Junior and Sugar, were well trained and fun to ride. I appreciate that our trail was not just flat-we got to go up and down hills a bit to get the full effect. I felt like a real cowgirl! ;-) They were telling us that in the summer, they do rides up in Pine Valley, which is an entirely different landscape. I'd love to come back and give that a try!

I was with my husband and mom while Chase was explaining the procedures. I had to conquer my fear and do it! So, my husband and mom stayed back while I decided to go solo! Chase picked the most handsome horse named Curly for me. I chose a short ride. Chase was very helpful, thoughtful, and definitely knew how to calm me down and I got to experience an incredible new adventure! By the way, we're all going back in a bit to go on a ride together!
