So many beers that I had never had before that you could buy in singles. They came up to the Twin Cities a couple years later. Still pretty sweet for awhile. The times they are a changin'. These days, at least half of the shelf space that they used to have for beer is now THC and NA beverages. What they do have for beer almost never rotates and there is way too much emphasis on the local. Total Wine can still be fun if you visit one somewhere that you have never been before to find some new to you beers. The only reason I go them locally anymore is the sheer sake of convenience. Prices are up everywhere, but it doesn't seem like Total Wine has the bargain prices compared to their competition that it used to either.

When I went for pick-up, I looked around and spent an additionally substantial chunk of change on other sale spirits, including Balvenie Caribbean Cask Scotch. I had a chance to chat with one of the staff and said I was surprised to see on Yelp that there were some negative reviews of store staff manners. He said ownership of the store has changed since those negative reviews and that the current owner stresses customer appreciation.
