Terrible customer service. Called for an appointment. They gave me a window between 2-5pm. Moved my work schedule around to accommodate the time. Received a call at 11:30 am but missed it because I was working. Called them back to be told by the receptionist that they cannot come back at the original quoted time frame because they are no longer in the area and they would have to back track. Zero willingness to try and accommodate me after switching around my entire work day. Would not recommend this company as most people can't take a whole day off of work. What's the point of giving times of service when you don't honor them?! read more

We had Hauck out to check our Jenn Air ice maker. He said we needed it replaced to the tune of $800. Since this is an 18 yr old fridge we were not going to spend that amount. Anyway he left without replacing the ice stop lever. Our ice maker miraculously started working so we had a second repair company out to replace the bar and he quoted us $350 to replace the entire device. Not sure if Hauck was an inexperienced repair person or he just didn't want to do it but they were way off base. read more

Honest and no nonsense service. Easy to set up an appointment and they arrive right on time. I had a fairly new microwave repaired some years ago and it has worked perfectly since More recent I had a problem with the dishwasher and tho I had to pay the base service fee I was told fixing it replace two parts plus the labor would not be worth it as it would come in about equal the price of an average mid range dishwasher, A little disappointing in that the DW I have is only 6-7 years old. But the tech kinda tweaked a part, the heating element that was out of shape and being hit by the lower wash arm and the DW has been doing fine since. So at least for now I'll just wait and see how it goes and in the mean time maybe wait for a sale to buy and new Dishwasher. I'd defiantly call Hauck again if I need appliance serves but I'll hope I don't as every other appliance in the house is now not as hold as the dishwasher with the exception of that Microwave. read more

So last weekend, I was sitting on my back porch when my seven-year-old came out screaming, "Mommy, daddy, the washing machine's on fire!" Obviously, we were completely terrified but at the same time wondering if she was over exaggerating. Well, long story short, the belt and the agitator in my Speed Queen washing machine had broken due to its age. I didn't know that at the time, but I called my Home Warranty company, and they tried to send me Sears. I absolutely hate Sears. There's a reason why that company has fallen off the face of the planet. The reason is their horrible customer service. Nobody goes into their stores and buys their crappy products. Even their home repair company is worse. I have to tell you, I was beyond frustrated and disheartened because I felt like my washing machine wouldn't be fixed anytime soon. I called my Home Warranty back, telling them I can't have Sears and that I need to go with my own people. With enough passion and vigor in my voice, they gave me the opportunity and connected me with these guys. They understood my frustration and did everything they could to fit me in within a few days of my phone call. They were able to come out and fix my washing machine promptly, providing amazing customer service. Thank you, Mike, for fixing my washing machine and doing it with such care. I appreciate your warm and caring personality, as well as your desire to ensure my satisfaction as a customer. I have to say that my Home Warranty also appreciated their invoice and accepted it within a few hours. Hopefully, I'll get some of this repair paid for later on down the road. But for now, I have to say these guys deserve a solid five stars and a 10 out of 10 rating. I highly recommend them for all of you for your home repair needs. read more

I woke up and was in a terrible mood because my dryer wasn't working. It would not turn on at all. I was convinced I would have to buy a new dryer. I contacted Sean because he was able to very quickly repair my dryer before (it was a broken belt). When I was on the phone with him, he said, "pull off the righthand knob and see if you can see any cracks." I did - and sure enough there was a crack! He then told me to pull off the lefthand knob and add it to the righthand side to see if it caused the dryer to start - and it did! He gave me the name of a local appliance parts store and the part was only $7. Any other repairman would have come to my house in order to make an easy $100+. The dryer works great and it only cost me $7. I can honestly say he's the best and most honest repairman in Pittsburgh. read more
