I recommend Prestige Moving enthusiastically! I texted just a few days before needing a weekend…read moremove at the end of May, a busy time. Prestige texted back within the hour with pricing, the dates they were available, and answering additional questions. I had a small job (3 hours) with lots of moving parts: trash, wrapping, storage unit, plus three locations, two with elevators, one with stairs. Roberto called early the morning of the move, and the crew arrived even a few minutes early. They did a super job including being careful with packing and wrapping of some art, a tv, and a heavy digital keyboard. The thing I appreciate most was their attitude. They were so upbeat, courteous, and helpful. I thought the rate was quite reasonable: $130 per hour for a 3-man crew. The lead mover, Fredy, clearly had a ton of moving experience and did a great job navigating a nearly full storage unit. I look forward to using them again.

I interviewed about 6 moving companies and right away from talking with Abner I felt comfortable. Other moving companies were very persistent, trying to sell me, and seemed dishonest. Abner was very responsive and straight forward but did not contact me again after initial quote until I decided to go with him. He garunteed pick up date and arrival date (and time and was 10 minutes early each time!) which was huge for us as our move had to be very scheduled and other companies quoted us a 2 week interval (or more!) of when our items would be delivered. His crew in Houston arrived and packed our entire apartment, included disassembling basic items. They were extremely professional and efficient. Every item even valuable and breakable items arrived in perfect condition. He met us in San Fransisco 5 days later and him and two others unloaded all our boxes and assembled any dissassembled items. Again very professional and efficient. Iron back movers turned what could have been a very stressful move into 0 stress. Abner was extremely hardworking, professional, and easy to work with as was every member of his team. We hope we can use him for any future moves even though we are no longer in Houston!

They were very responsive when we inquired (via text) and I liked that they charged per hour based on the number of movers you requested. We scheduled the moving date, signed a contract, and were ready to go! On moving day, the movers arrived promptly and they were so quick in moving everything! within two hours everything had been moved out of our townhome! It took them another hour and a half to move everything to the new place. Very impressed! They also wrapped certain pieces of furniture for us and disassembled as well as assembled others. Cost was reasonable as well. I would say they are more cost efficient compared to other movers we had inquired. Overall we had a good experience with iron/back movers and would use them again for our next move!

If you hire this mover make sure none of your furniture is delicate. Make sure you have 24 hour…read morestorage in case they push your appointment back. Have someone there who can speak Spanish. And if there are any issues be ready to demand that one of the movers call "the boss" and put you on the phone, otherwise you will get an answering service en Español. I could understand enough to know the boss was unavailable. This mover underbid other movers so I chose them in spite of the fact that they had only 2 reviews. That was my mistake. I decided to move my original appointment to a week later, the company said that would be fine. My request was a week before the original appointment so well within the time to cancel or make changes. They did NOT say that there were no appointments available and they would have to work me in. My storage unit closes at 5pm. But the original appointment was for 10am. The DAY OF my appointment they called to ask if they could come at noon. I said yes because... what am I going to do? Hire new movers? They pushed it back to noon. They didn't actually arrive until 2pm. They loaded up the items but I stopped them because I wanted to have time to unload. They took my items to my storage, partially unloaded but several heavy pieces of furniture were still on the truck. They wanted to take the items to someone's home for the evening. Then they wanted to leave my items on the truck at my apartment complex and come back tomorrow, but when? I felt sure that it would be another situation of working me in sometime during the day. They put all my furniture back in my apartment and would not admit any fault in what had occurred. They claimed that I didn't tell them my storage closed early... but that wouldn't have been an issue if they had been on time. Two of my furniture items were broken and they way they stacked my items made it clear that they were hired laborers without the moving expertise to know how to treat delicate furniture or how to stack things and maximize storage space. All of this could have been avoided had they simply been honest when I attempted to change my appointment. They didn't want to lose business. They chose to be unprofessional and overbooked their movers. I ended up hiring other movers and paying 3x the amount.
