We just started using Galveston Pack and Ship to have our mail delivered. It has been a wonderful experience! I spoke with some idiot from the original place I shipped the package and told the idiot he has no customer service skills because he wanted to get an attitude. I posted this on reviews "I had a terrible experience with some jackass named Abraham. I shipped a package with this company which was my first time and paid for overnight shipping which was close to $80 when 2 day would have been $20 something. My package was delivered two days instead due to FedEx no money back guarantee due to weather. I simply called to express my experience and explain the their worker who was aware of this policy could have informed me of this before I paid my money. He immediately became rude and defensive and said "I'm not giving you a refund". I even came up with a compromise to get half of a refund so he's not completely out and I'm not and this jackass gets smart talking about "nation wide policies and common sense" when common sense would indicate it's necessary to inform a customer of potential ramifications if weather or other issues occur before a customer pays their money for something. Abraham the idiot said later in the conversation "I thought this was about my employees communication skills now you're changing it to refunds" but if Abraham the jackass was actually using his common sense and listening and not being defensive he would have remembered in the beginning of the conversation I expressed that I paid $50 plus extra for a service I didn't get which common sense would tell you the person is looking for a refund. I don't know where this jackass was trained in customer service skills but he has the emotional control and regulation of a chimp and isn't able to sit back rationally and listen to a customer who paid for something they didn't get without interrupting. Abraham the jackass needs retraining on basic customer service skills, basic 2nd grade listening and comprehension skills, and just how to be a decent human being. He's extremely childish and will hang up on you if you point out where he was wrong." read more

Ok Folks!! I rarely do this but when you get service from a small business that knocks it out of the park well!!! So, the other day that big shipping resale company inadvertently sent a package to me here on the island that was supposed to go to San Antonio. It has to be there no later than today. I sent it on Wednesday thinking Saturday should be no problem. Well they sent it to me. I called Around looking for a shipper that could get my package safely and quickly to San Antonio from Galveston over night. These guys not only got my package to San Antonio on time they provided me with excellent customer service asking me my name and actually introducing themselves to me. Not to mention the price was amazing! Guys thanks for this and if anyone on the island needs to send a package and wants to be treated like a human being go see these guys! my wife and I did the short cruise to Mexico, while there my wife spent a sizable sum of money on some glass trinkets. Instead of trying to carry on or ship by plane. The only reliable, efficient shipping service Galveston. It's a fedex shipping center too, which I can say from personal experience is much easier than going to the fedex in Walgreens. You can get a mailbox and receive mail, ship and receive packages, they will even store your suitcase if you're, like, going on a cruise. In fact a lot of their business are the cruise ship employees, who need a home away from home to receive their mail and packages. I was desperate to get a package to NY for Monday morning delivery and it was Saturday at noon. The good people at Galveston Pack & Ship helped me so much! They prepared everything for me and even called Fed Ex to confirm there would not be delays due to the storm heading toward the east coast. They called me on Sunday to confirm it had made it to the Fed Ex shipping center in Memphis. Upon its arrival in NY I had an email confirmation, complete with the name of the person who signed for it. Specifically, I was working with Abraham. He was friendly, professional, and Very helpful!
