However, the move was quickly approaching, and another company I called neither picked up the phone nor called me back. I called Kendrick's and they answered the phone, were straight-up about pricing, and gave me the holiday weekend to think about whether I would use them. Called back the following week, they got me on the schedule. They called to confirm, the day before, like they said they would. Moving day, 2 guys showed up about 15 mins after the appt. time, and quickly loaded what I needed and quickly unloaded it at my new place. I was impressed that they wrapped the main doorframe in both places with pads to protect it - that's a new thing to me I'll be asking other movers for. The two guys were professional in demeanor. Had no surprises on pricing or length of time it took them (which was tied to the price). Needing to move unexpectedly sucked, but these guys made it less awful. Thanks

I live on the 3rd floor at both locations and I was impressed with how organized the 2 gentlemen are. I purchased the 2 hour package that they have on their website and I only had to pay an additional hour which I didn't mind at all. I will say I shopped around a little bit and this was the most affordable company in the area for my type of move. They were so kind, took minimal breaks and we both understood that we wanted this to be done as smoothly as possible. This took organization on my end to make sure the boxes and heavy furniture were clearly visible as well themselves and their dolly. This was overall a great experience.

At the end of the move, they each came over and shook my husband's hand and said thank you for choosing us, he was floored. We were building a house and had a different moving company move us from a house into an apartment/storage and they were awful - so many more items than we initially realized that were damaged and broken that we found in storage. No complaints with this crew and how they handled our furniture and not damaging our new home. The only down side to this group is they have really small trucks (or if they have a bigger truck it was not available when we moved). Our 2 bedroom apartment furniture did not all fit in one truck (no boxes just furniture). They did feel bad and went back and picked up our patio furniture and grills without charge. We spent less time and money with this group and were very happy even with the smaller truck sizes. We hope not to be moving anytime soon, but would definitely recommend Ready to Roll if we were.

His rates were fair and affordable and his work ethic, irreproachable. Rob knew the chaos of the move he was assisting with and didn't flinch at all. In fact, he and Brandon eased my stress and jumped right in and took care of everything in an organized and efficient manner. The large, antique, heavy furniture made for a terribly hard day of lifting but Rob and Brandon got the job done without complaint. They made what was one of the worst days, entirely bearable and a success. Many times over, these two men went above and beyond, never wavering from the job at hand and the personal service they had promised. By day's end, they felt like family. I could not have asked for better people or more dedicated service.

These movers were extremely unprofessional and ACTUALLY GHOSTED ME MID-MOVE. The story: I booked this company to move my household goods from one house in Cincinnati to another about a mile away. I described the contents of my house when I booked them, but there was no follow up or pre-visit to the house either in person or facetime. When I called the day before the move, I was assured they had looked through pictures of my house online and were able to handle the job. At no time was I warned that this could be more than a one day job or that they had any question they could carry out the move in the time promised. This was important since I had booked cleaners for my house for the day after the movers so I could turn over keys the day after that. On the day of the move, it quickly became apparent that they did not have enough men or trucks to carry out the move in one day. Moreover, the movers spent the day alternately suggesting that I was to blame for having too many possessions or that the owner was responsible for habitually failing to accurately assess beforehand what manpower and trucks were needed for jobs. Regardless, the crew and owner insisted on finishing sharply at 5 pm, leaving at least half of my house still to move. The movers said they would be back next morning to move the rest. When I asked the owner if he would give me some discount on the rest of the move given that he had so underestimated what was needed to complete the job in the day promised, he angrily told me that he had no responsibility and that I should have known it would take longer--and then he hung up on me. When I showed up to my old house the next morning to meet the movers, I found out they had left valuable furniture outside overnight. And then: THEY DID NOT SHOW UP TO COMPLETE THE MOVE. . . AND THE OWNER DID NOT ANSWER ANY OF MY PHONE CALLS. By some miracle, I was able to find some movers (Clark and Sons) for that day who worked until midnight to get me moved. These guys were amazing. They did all of the things that Affordable Movers did not. They were highly professional and extremely kind to me throughout. They worked together well, assured me they were there until the move was completed, treated my furniture carefully (Affordable movers were responsible for some terrible scratches on my furniture), brought in another worker when they realized they needed more help. My experience with Affordable Movers was one of the worst that I have had with any company. They added incredible stress and trauma to a normally challenging time in anyone's life. Finally, given that I had to hire another company for a further thirteen hours, they were not very affordable at all.

They left my white suede car bed at the moving location because I couldn't break my son's bed down. My son has to sleep on the floor until i can recover the bed frame. The job ended late lastnight and do you know they got their money but drove off with my sons bed rails. I had to get in my car to meet them to recover my son's bed rails. Not a good experience AT ALL.

Every day, for the next 5 days, I called or texted and still got no response. The dumpster sat in my parking lot taking up needed parking spots. Finally, week after it was supposed to be picked up, it was finally removed. I cannot recommend this business at all and I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for dumpster services. Very poor communication and terrible service.
