The seats are extremely uncomfortable, the shows are decent and the prices are good compared to larger venues. The parking can be a hassle if you're not there super early, the lot fills up fast and then you're stuck either parking half a mile away in the municipal parking lot or fighting for street parking. There is one single bar and there is constantly a line.

The bowling is cool, but something about the pins being on strings isnt ideal. The pizza was so bad i spit it out, cumbys serves better pizza and that pizza is awful. We were seated up high in the balcony but still had a great view. My only cautionary question was accessibility for people who could not use stairs. There were many steps up to our seats, and I wondered if there was an elevator or some other access for those with disabilities, maybe there is?? Overall, perusing the rest of the season and looking forward to returning.

Maine is lucky to have several drive-ins. But, I'll echo what a couple other folks have said already: PRO: $20 for a double feature for a whole carload of people is unbeatable! CON: We were in a Honda HRV (not a huge SUV) and tried to park in the third row where other vehicles our size were parked. A man came (literally) running after us to tell us we needed to move back a row because we were "too big." The fourth row was almost exclusively enormous pickup trucks. Fortunately, the ground in the fourth row had a bit of a bump, so we were able to position our vehicle on an incline and it offered fantastic views of the screen. Also, people weren't parking near the outdated microphone stands (which are spaced out for a reason), and instead we had someone park (their mega truck) so close to us that we couldn't even open our passenger door. Sooo... just a heads-up regarding where/how you park your vehicle.

It is only $20/vehicle for TWO movies! You can bring your own food and drinks or you can grab something from the concession stands in the back. How it works: Park your car not too close, as you'll be struggling to see the movie from within. Turn off your engine by setting your car to ACC, as you'll have to use your radio to listen to the movie. The screen will provide you with the radio station to tune into. Turn off your headlights, and get ready to watch the movie! The awesome thing about drive-ins in Maine besides all the cost-efficient amenities, is you can enjoy your movie in the cool breeze, no humidity included. Don't forget the bug spray!

Now I understand why the 356 A models were called the "Speedster." Museums are for education! My only suggestion for improvement is to have at least one sign explaining how co-founder Miles Prentice came to love collecting and restoring cars. To people who live in the community and know the background, it might seem like bragging, but to those of us from faraway places, it's education. We visited on a Monday in April, and I appreciated that the museum is open every day of the week, including the "off season."

We finally got started and I do have to say the cars are gorgeous. We are huge car fans, so this was fun. But the guy skipped the ones he didn't seem to like. That's okay - we did go back and look at them. But that was it. I still don't understand what the VIP part was - if it was just having a tour guide, i would have paid the $12/person fee instead and done the tour myself. We were kind of expecting to see some cars no one else gets to see or something else for that much more money. Oh well, live and learn. It's worth the $12/person, but do NOT pay for the VIP tour. It's a waste of money. The cars are definitely worth it!
