The event page kind of lied about this when it came to "food trucks" so coming hungry is NOT WISE. Food is popcorn, snacks, and tacos or a standard umami burger in the end of it all. The visual of it all is pretty neat in theory, but not necessarily executed fully well (some displays don't make sense). Despite tickets having a time on them, it's irrelevant. There's a line ride to get in, and the entire place is packed. It's it's own nightmare especially because of covid where you can't always distance. Workers don't all mask either. So it's just somewhat anxiety-provoking (personally). Was it worth $30 + $11 for a CAN of beer? Absolutely not.

Negatives: it's pricey unless you have more people in your vehicle ($70 for a ticket for up to 8 people and $90 for 8+ people). The variety of candy is limited. You don't get to pick your pumpkin. The candy they provide is dumped into your vehicle from a basket that has a long handle (so the actor doesn't get too close to the vehicle) so if there's multiple kids in a car, they don't all get a chance to "get the candy" from each "house." Positives: Smooth check in, friendly staff, there's a lot of things to look at and you can tell they put a lot into making a socially distanced trick or treat event, you get a pumpkin (1 per car), and the actors were all in character and made the trick or treat experience wonderful. Overall it's about a 30 minute experience. They tell you to go really slow... and they even remind you to go at snail's speed. I realized why, because by the time we got to the last portion, the trick or treat portion, the line was bottle necked. My friend and I went during the day time, so I can only imagine how pretty everything was at night and lit up. But it would probably be more bottle necked at the end, too.

Couldn't get to the next attraction without someone wanting to come up to either one of us lol

Another successfully fun Halloween experience at Hauntoween!! Yes this was our second year here and it was awesome once again! I love this place because you have everything here from your pumpkin patch to kids rides, trick or treating, face paints and hair spray, fun kids and adult activities, foods and lots of places for photos! I did notice a few differences from last year. Last year there was a fun mirror house and awesome talent on stilts-didn't see them this time. Last year was The Addams Family themed too. Did notice we have some more activities here this time like witch potions and green screen, and more carnival games. The beautiful carousel and large lighted up pumpkin tunnel is still here! My husband and I don't care for the food here but we did enjoy some beers this year now that I'm not pregnant this time lol. Prices are kind of overpriced already on top of expensive tickets (which went up this year of course). But the difference is your ticket pretty much includes everything from games and rides and attractions compared to pumpkin patches which are much cheaper but require you to buy tickets. I also think it's worth it because the decorations used here are very unique. Also love that they encourage everyone to wear costumes-even if they're scary! Makes it much more fun for everyone compared to Disneyland lol. I would definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't gone and wants to have a good fun Halloween experience all in one event. This will probably be our last year unless it's something crazy next year, but we enjoyed it very much. Remember to buy tickets online ahead of time if you're still planning go. Almost all tickets are sold out so get on it!

This place is amazing! Loads of stuff and things to do all included with your admission ticket! Walk around trail, candy (lots of it), bounce house, roller coasters, face painting, large slide, food trucks, live music and dance arena and photo ops. And more...A must visit! You won't be disappointed. Family friendly. Parking is free! You only need to purchase the VIP for the child(ren). No need to get one for the adults. Thursday was a great night to attend. Not crowded.

I went to this last year and had a great time! I would say I felt a little out of place without kids because there were mostly families with children, but we got to be kids at heart. There were so many cool decorations and photo ops. I wish I took more pictures!! They had an area for trick or treating too! Highly, highly recommend going during the Halloween season!

This is my third year attending Hauntoween! It was the best experience so far. This event gets better every year. Trick or treating, bounce houses, rides, dance room, and so much more. My kids loved it there. So much to do and so many great photo opportunities. Face and hair painting was great and all activities other than food are included in the price. It is a must for Halloween and I highly recommend it, well worth the money. If you have teenagers this isn't the event for you! Not a teenager event and don't recommend if you don't have children. The food options were ok but better last year with street tacos was sad that they didn't return this year.

I loved this place plenty of places to take pictures Free face painting free pumpkins they color your kids hair for free and of course trick or treating there's several places to play games and a few rides and slides ( included with admission ) I went at 7 PM on a Thursday and didn't have to wait in any lines the food trucks food was pretty good and alcoholic beverages throughout the whole place ! Would 100%. Come again!!

Took my son last year and let me just say it was amazing. Plenty of spooky Halloween displays that were to "die" for it truly was an immersive experience. We enjoyed the trick or treating area they had for the kids. Staff was so friendly. Plus!! They let you take a pumpkin home. My son being on the spectrum loved the lights, immersive tunnels. Food was a little over priced but overall we had a great experience!!! Would definitely do this again.

I can't believe I'm saying this...but the 2020 Covid drive thru was 100 times better then this years cheaper, unorganized version. I saw people fighting in the parking lot for parking spots. No security to be found. Decorations were lame. Cheap. I think we got a handful of candy total in total lol Vs 2020 when they were dumping handfuls of candy in the cars. Unless sponsored by FX or people with actual funds to set it up with nice decorations, enough candy and proper attractions. I would skip it!! Feel ripped off ....

With Covid measures easing a bit from last year, Haunt O' Ween returns to the Promenade at Westfield Topanga in Woodland HIlls. With 150,000 sq ft of Halloween fun, Haunt O' Ween has once again magically transformed this mundane parking lot into a family-fun playground. While masks are not required, they are encouraged for all guests, but rest assured this is an exclusively outdoor event. This event does indeed appeal to everyone. It is essentially a mini amusement park, complete with face painting, carnival games, pumpkin carving and painting, a merry go round and mini-rollercoaster, hay maze, tunnels with lights and mirrors, and trick or treating at a dozen houses (so pro tip: bring a basket or bag to put your candies in!) Not to mention the countless photo ops anywhere you look. They have over 35,000 pumpkins! To make this experience even more immersive you can interact with performers like stilt-walkers at the carnival, and scarecrows waiting to give you a jumpscare in the maze. There is so much to do that you could easily spend an entire day there doing it all! A huge shoutout to their sponsors Fever, Westfield, SBE, C3 Creating Culinary Communities, and Malibu Wines (enjoy their wine garden). Promoting the new "Addams Family" movie is a life-size replica of their mansion facade. Other promotional items include KiwiCo's themed wooden kits for sale, and besides candy to appease your sweet tooth, try some guilt-free "Faves", which includes 1 serving of fruits and vegetables per bag. On-site food sponsors cooking up some fan favorites near the exit include Umami burgers, Sam's Crispy Chicken, La Gente Taqueria's tacos and quesadillas. Some added reminders: If you want photos with natural light, arrive by 5pm since sunset is around 7pm. Bring some extra cash for the always-in-demand glowing merch. Parking is ample and free, and there is no time limit to your stay, except of course when it closes. And lastly, dress up! Wear something Halloweeny because this is costume season after all! Although I didn't want this night to end, I know all good things must come to it, so I will end with this: I was blown away by how flawless this experience was! But I'm honestly not that surprised since thisbis coming to us from the pros at Experiential Supply Co. This will go down in the books as one of my favorites for the Halloween season, definitely this year! So go now because November will be here before you know it!

Things to note: - Enter from Erwin street (across from McDonald's) and park over near the old Macy's, Spirit Halloween area. - Sign the waiver beforehand and have the signed email brought up on your phone to show!! It'll save you time. - You can dress in costumes! - Bring a trick or treat bucket for your kids. - Once you get thru certain areas, you can't go back. It's one way. Keep that in mind. Make sure you're done with an area before moving on. - The first area only had wine, but the Carnival area had beer, wine, sodas, and hard seltzer. - You can pre-order food for pick up in the pumpkin patch area. There's a QR Code you can scan near the Go Coaster ride. - If you want a pumpkin, you have to pick it and pay for it separately. At the end, right before exit. - Definitely very kid-friendly. Lines weren't too long for the Go Coaster and Merry Go Round. - It does get cool once the sun sets, so bring something warm to wear. - Porto potty in a few areas. Big bathroom area with hand washing stations at very end, once you exit the event. - Spirit Halloween is near the event and is open until 9pm! - You can stay as long as you want, but you could probably do the whole thing in an hour or less. - Masks are strongly encouraged, but it was about half and half. Half wearing, half not. - DEFINITELY go on a week night. It was pretty dead and we didn't wait long for anything. - The sun sets at around 6:30pm, so if you get tixs for 6:30 or later, it would be perfect. The lights and decorations are really well done.

They put so much thought into the decorations!

This is the best Halloween drive thru! For the price, we weren't expecting much. However, all of my kids LOVED it, including my older boys. When you go through the pumpkin patch, you get a pumpkin. When we were trick-or-treating, we left our sunroof open and they dumped buckets of candy into our car. At the end, they even gave our dog a Greenies bone! So thoughtful! This was so much fun and if they do it again, I recommend it!

It was a joke. Looks like things were put together with some glue, tape and black tarp with some spray painted wood.
