Super great family friendly event to get into the Halloween spirit! I came here as an adult with an adult friend and we still enjoyed ourselves. However, I would recommend this more to families or people with small kids. They do have alcohol available and one "adults only" section but the event is clearly geared towards littles. I loved seeing everyone dressed in costume AND it was a dog friendly event! So many dog costumes AND they had a station inside with poop bags. I wish I had known! It was a little hard to find out info on the event beforehand. I loved the lights, decorations and music! They had some neat activiations like drawing on structures with glow in the dark chalk, a dance/dj tent, photo booth opportunities, ball pit, rides, trick or treating and food trucks. I wish they had MORE food trucks! They had plenty of benches available to sit and eat too. It seemed like there was a lot of empty space around the event and maybe could have utilized it a little better. Lots of portable toilets available. My 3yo daughter enjoyed her night here. This is best for school aged children, not teenagers or adults. I recommend coming on the weekdays if at all possible. Our ticket was for 6pm which was perfect for some day pictures but still enjoy the glow when the sun goes down. Bring a bag for your candy or they charge $5 for their bucket with a candied apple. There were a lot of things you can purchase which I didn't like as the tickets were pricey, why would I want to spend more?! We walked through the sets which were interesting and good for pictures but not entertaining for adults. The lines for face makeup were long so skipped that. They need more activities for the children in the first section. They had wall drawing and a small ball pit. After the pumpkin tunnel, you cannot return to the first section as they hand out a small amount of candy. I have gotten more from 2 blocks of trick or treating! The second section has a pumpkin bounce and a carousel which my daughter loved best but could not see the rest of the rides. The third section has the food trucks and the rest of the rides. Rides are for kids but not toddlers unless they are ok with riding alone as adults are not allowed. We waited in line for the coaster and the trucks but my daughter would not ride alone so that was a waste of time. She liked the giant slide. Pumpkins were extra money. We spent 3 hours here for $44/per person. I would do it again for less money and on a Weekday only! read more

The event page kind of lied about this when it came to "food trucks" so coming hungry is NOT WISE. Food is popcorn, snacks, and tacos or a standard umami burger in the end of it all. The visual of it all is pretty neat in theory, but not necessarily executed fully well (some displays don't make sense). Despite tickets having a time on them, it's irrelevant. There's a line ride to get in, and the entire place is packed. It's it's own nightmare especially because of covid where you can't always distance. Workers don't all mask either. Negatives: it's pricey unless you have more people in your vehicle ($70 for a ticket for up to 8 people and $90 for 8+ people). The variety of candy is limited. You don't get to pick your pumpkin. The candy they provide is dumped into your vehicle from a basket that has a long handle (so the actor doesn't get too close to the vehicle) so if there's multiple kids in a car, they don't all get a chance to "get the candy" from each "house." Positives: Smooth check in, friendly staff, there's a lot of things to look at and you can tell they put a lot into making a socially distanced trick or treat event, you get a pumpkin (1 per car), and the actors were all in character and made the trick or treat experience wonderful. Overall it's about a 30 minute experience. They tell you to go really slow... and they even remind you to go at snail's speed. I realized why, because by the time we got to the last portion, the trick or treat portion, the line was bottle necked. My friend and I went during the day time, so I can only imagine how pretty everything was at night and lit up. But it would probably be more bottle necked at the end, too. read more

Wow this place was so much fun! This year was my first time going and it exceeded my expectations! It was around $45 for a ticket and they let me in earlier than my ticket time. The line is long, but goes pretty fast. I loved how everything inside is included in the ticket (everything's free- candy, chips, activities, rides, punpkins, games EXCEPT food) The first part is for photo ops! They have a bunch of cool set-ups. Second part is for trick or treating. There's a line and they pass out candy. The last part is very similar to a fair where they have rides and games! Another successfully fun Halloween experience at Hauntoween!! Yes this was our second year here and it was awesome once again! I love this place because you have everything here from your pumpkin patch to kids rides, trick or treating, face paints and hair spray, fun kids and adult activities, foods and lots of places for photos! I did notice a few differences from last year. Last year there was a fun mirror house and awesome talent on stilts-didn't see them this time. Last year was The Addams Family themed too. Did notice we have some more activities here this time like witch potions and green screen, and more carnival games. The beautiful carousel and large lighted up pumpkin tunnel is still here! My husband and I don't care for the food here but we did enjoy some beers this year now that I'm not pregnant this time lol. Prices are kind of overpriced already on top of expensive tickets (which went up this year of course). But the difference is your ticket pretty much includes everything from games and rides and attractions compared to pumpkin patches which are much cheaper but require you to buy tickets. I also think it's worth it because the decorations used here are very unique. Also love that they encourage everyone to wear costumes-even if they're scary! Makes it much more fun for everyone compared to Disneyland lol. I would definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't gone and wants to have a good fun Halloween experience all in one event. This is my third year attending Hauntoween! It was the best experience so far. This event gets better every year. Trick or treating, bounce houses, rides, dance room, and so much more. My kids loved it there. So much to do and so many great photo opportunities. Face and hair painting was great and all activities other than food are included in the price. It is a must for Halloween and I highly recommend it, well worth the money. If you have teenagers this isn't the event for you! Not a teenager event and don't recommend if you don't have children. With 150,000 sq ft of Halloween fun, Haunt O' Ween has once again magically transformed this mundane parking lot into a family-fun playground. While masks are not required, they are encouraged for all guests, but rest assured this is an exclusively outdoor event. This event does indeed appeal to everyone. It is essentially a mini amusement park, complete with face painting, carnival games, pumpkin carving and painting, a merry go round and mini-rollercoaster, hay maze, tunnels with lights and mirrors, and trick or treating at a dozen houses (so pro tip: bring a basket or bag to put your candies in!) Things to note: - Enter from Erwin street (across from McDonald's) and park over near the old Macy's, Spirit Halloween area. - Sign the waiver beforehand and have the signed email brought up on your phone to show!! It'll save you time. - You can dress in costumes! - Bring a trick or treat bucket for your kids. - Once you get thru certain areas, you can't go back. It's one way. Keep that in mind. Make sure you're done with an area before moving on. - The first area only had wine, but the Carnival area had beer, wine, sodas, and hard seltzer. - You can pre-order food for pick up in the pumpkin patch area. There's a QR Code you can scan near the Go Coaster ride. - If you want a pumpkin, you have to pick it and pay for it separately. At the end, right before exit. - Definitely very kid-friendly. Lines weren't too long for the Go Coaster and Merry Go Round. - It does get cool once the sun sets, so bring something warm to wear. - Porto potty in a few areas. Big bathroom area with hand washing stations at very end, once you exit the event. - Spirit Halloween is near the event and is open until 9pm! - You can stay as long as you want, but you could probably do the whole thing in an hour or less. - Masks are strongly encouraged, but it was about half and half. Half wearing, half not. - DEFINITELY go on a week night. It was pretty dead and we didn't wait long for anything. - The sun sets at around 6:30pm, so if you get tixs for 6:30 or later, it would be perfect. This is the best Halloween drive thru! For the price, we weren't expecting much. However, all of my kids LOVED it, including my older boys. When you go through the pumpkin patch, you get a pumpkin. When we were trick-or-treating, we left our sunroof open and they dumped buckets of candy into our car. At the end, they even gave our dog a Greenies bone! So thoughtful! Simply put, it's the children's entertainment equivalent of getting a single happy meal for the price of a fancy steak dinner for 2. This experience was a complete joke. Literally pack people in to walk through some extremely lacking decorations. There's a janky carousel and a kiddie roller coaster that last 1 minute each but take 45 minutes to wait in line for. $14 thimbles of wine and beer a 10 minute walk through sets with designs that look like they were given about 20% effort to design. I thought we would give this event a shot. We were all excited and at the end of the night it was such a big disappointment. I think this event is very expensive for a walk through of simple Halloween decorations painted in glow in the dark paint. I bought VIP tickets that were not honored when we arrived. I had to ask for a manager and he told me there was nothing he could do. None the less the kids got none of their treats promised with their tickets. There were 11 of us in total. I spent so much money for my family to attend. The kids area was ok, not many rides, drinks were a big disappointment as well as they were all caned drinks. The only fun part was walking through the tunnel of lighted pumpkins but not worth the ticket price for that. I do not recommend this event or spending money for this event ever in the future. Although this is just down the street from me, we originally didn't plan to go but got invited by one of our friends to go as a group. It is definitely more for kids, especially with the rides. There is a section for drinking in which they check ID's. We ended up going later towards the end of the night due to availability but had a great time regardless! Got a bunch of candy from it and the games were free. Candy was the reward and it was either a handful, choose a couple, or a small bag of chips if you didn't like the candy choices. Since we went so late, by the time we walked through the entire thing, the food vendors were pretty much closing up. Luckily we ate beforehand so it was fine but didn't get to try the food that they offered! Picked out a pumpkin at the end for $12 I believe? Any size, same price! The begin starts off with fun photo ops - you then get to the lines for face paint. 1 hour wait for face paint. We decided to leave after 30 minutes as we noticed they were closing at 10 we didn't want to miss the rest of it for face paint. 3. More photo ops. Quick walk through - no time to stop and look. At this point it's 9:10-9:20. 4. Trick or treat stations. You can not take candy if you do not have a bag. You can not share a bag. No where on the website does it say to bring your own bag. 5. You get to the carnival games+rides. This is advertised as friendly for everyone. They had rides for CHILDREN 5 AND UNDER. Adults, teens and pups HAVE NOTHING TO DO. 6. The mini activity stations (potions + spells, cape customization, etc) were closed by 8:30pm-9pm. Nobody was at the tables anymore. 7. You do not get a free pumpkin. They make you fight over pumpkins they bring out every half hour. It's a LIE. Come closer to the closing and you won't even get a warning about this, we found out after asking the attendant. They said "oh too bad, you missed it". 8. The actors in costumes don't acknowledge unless you have children. The witch literally did not acknowledge us when walking through her house? Way to make it inclusive for everyone. 9. Dance off is targeted for children. If you are not 5 and under, this event is lying to you. Do not go. 10. Food selection is limited to 3-5 food trucks. Haunt o ween was great!!!! My daughters are 3 and 6 and and they both had a great time. This event felt like a Halloween Carnival. It was great for kids! I originally thought the entrance was pricey however after attending last night I understand why. Definitely worth your money! Your entrance includes face painting, hair painting, science experiment, kids dance party, trick or treating, rides, slides, bouncy houses, and several great photo opportunities. The trick or treat station was not very many however they where very generous with the amount of candy being given to the kids. Overall this was a great family friendly event for the kids. This place was great. The attention to detail was amazing. One of my favorites was giant skeleton with a tree growing through it and seeming to burst out the top of it's rib cage. I was walking with my son out of the sooky music dome when a character on stilts passed by silently walking side by side with a beautiful red and gold decked out princess character. If we had come earlier it would have been fun to spend a couple hours there to take it all in. The looks on the kids faces were great but there were some really awesome artistic things to look at. My hubby said it would even be fun to come without the kids after a couple drinks. I agreed. It wasn't crowded. There was a little trick o treat going on. There was one food truck option. You place a order from a menu. Hamburger chili cheese fries waffle fries and chicken sandwiches. I waited 30 min from another pick up spot. But they let you know it's going to be that long. There are picnic tables to eat. So if you don't live in the area don't come here the traffic is insane.
