Bubblemania was so much fun to have at my nephew's 6th birthday. They came right on time with all the supplies: kiddy pools, wands of many shapes, and a ton of bubble solution. The kids LOVED it! And it was great for the adults because the kids never left the bubble stations. There were so many different wands and ways to make bubbles. The lady who came did such a nice job. She was very friendly and so sweet to the kids. Any time someone had trouble, she would patiently show them how to make the bubbles. As the activity went on, she introduced other bubble making tools like a rope. Each new item captivated the kids. In particular, a few of the kids were timid at first. I thought the lady was very kind and encouraging. All of the kids warmed up to her and took part with the bubbles. I was happy to see some adults getting in on the fun as well. And even some parents teaming up with the kids to try to make the biggest bubble possible. It was a ton of fun all around. At the end, everything was cleaned up and taken away. David was our Bubbleologist, He was so professional and entertained all the guest unfortunately there was more adults than kids because of the weather but David put on an amazing bubble show, the birthday boy was more than happy ! it was pouring outside so we wear not able to do the outside show, but he did amazing none the less. We had this company come to our school for our TK/K students. The company rep showed up late which only left the classes assigned to the first assembly a 30 minute "show" due to our lunch schedule. We will definitely not be using this company again. The rep set up the bubble pools on top of a classroom rug. I'm sure the next classes enjoyed sitting on the wet rug. This company came recommended by a few parents. I wanted to make my three year olds birthday special at his pre-school today. I booked almost a month ago, and paid the entire invoice upfront knowing that technically balance wasn't due until the day of the event. I was told that the performer would be calling me a couple a days prior to confirm. By the day before our scheduled event, I had not received a call. So I emailed the company, understanding it was Mother's Day, and I didn't want to bother anyone, by Monday morning, day of the event, I still hadn't heard from anyone. So I ended up calling the office and leaving a message. The performer did a no-show. I spoke to the gentleman over the phone and he was extremely apologetic. I asked for a full refund and I was granted that refund immediately. The reason for my two star review is because of the discount I would be given if I were to book with them again. I was offered a 50% discount for the next time. As a business owner of similar entertainment, myself, emergencies do happen. And for the two times this might've happened within my business, and I've been in business for 15 years, I have always offered a free make up. And I myself, the owner, perform the event. I did not appreciate this discount seeing I had paid everything upfront, and in full faith, they would show up on the date, and time of our contract. This to me was not a "discount" type of mess up. This should've been a waived event. Because I myself have done that. "things happen," as the man over the phone said. And I do agree with that. But it's how the rest is handled that's the important point. Luckily, my three year old won't remember this event. But often times schools, camps, and children book events like these. Nothing worse than when the business owner lives and doesn't apologize for their mistakes. I had plenty of towels out for them to put down. Even worse is they claim that the children at the party spilled drinks on them. There were no drinks at the party for the kids because the parents in malibu don't like their kids drinking soda or juice so it was impossible that the kids spilled. So now the business owner is trying to put it on the children. Oh my god what a bad person anyway, the first year we did it someone slipped, and they promised me that they would put blankets down so that no one would slip this year. They did not put the towels down and a three-year-old fell and hit her head very hard. The girl doing the bubble show didn't even apologize. I emailed the guy Joseph who runs it to let him know for the second year, they didn't put down towels, and it was very hazardous, and he barely even apologized. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $200. Hire a different company!!!! I hired bubblemania to do "bubble play" for my sons 3rd birthday for just over 10 kids. They couldn't do the bubble show because of the winds (understandable) but my first red flag should have been when they said they do it indoors. The entertainer was the least engaging and bland children's entertainer I've ever met. He didn't excite the kids he didn't talk to them he just silently made some bubbles with minimal direction for the kids. He had a bit of an attitude towards the one kid that was enjoying himself, while all the others left to play with other toys at the party. I feel like I was completely ripped off by Bubblemania. The worst part is they only want cash or Venmo payments so I can't even charge it back. read more

Our artist Lexis did an amazing job on each child (and some adults). The designs were so cool and detailed. The quality was so good and everyone at the party was impressed! I am very satisfied with company. I ordered a face painter for one hour and although most of the kids did not want a face paint because they were too busy jumping the lady did a fantastic job. yesterday we had a play time with bubbles. it was a terrible experience. First, the worker put the pots very close to each other and the children bumped into each other and fell all the time. On the pictures, there are only half of children, another half left because it was not possible to keep social distance. I told to the worker twice to move out pots, but it never happened. secondly, there were practically no soap bubbles, there was a lot of foam but no bubbles. As a result, after 20 minutes the children were crying and left to eat a cake. The parents remained angry as many children fell down. This was my second time when I asked this compony for bubbles play time. Everything was good last year, so I have something to compare with. I do not think that I will contact it ever again because the party was ruined. It will be safer and cheaper to buy all staff by myself. The worker only started trying bubbles after I asked her to try it. I don't quite understand how dry day influences. Well, since it affects, you know it, then for good reason you should warn in advance that the bubbles will not inflate due to dry weather, so that people do not pay money for soap alone and the children do not get upset that they are failing. And now, they also offer face painting and (extra cool) hair extensions!. The face painting is detailed and gorgeous and they use glitter and jewels so your little ladies with be on cloud nine. We had her birthday outdoors at the park and most bubble companies dont do a show because its not guaranteed the quality of bubbles will be there since its outdoors and the wind can play a factor. So instead they do a bubble play. Our bubbleologist arrvied on time and with all her equipment. She setup quickly and the kids went at it. All the kids enjoyed playing with the bubbles. My daughter especially loves bubbles and she was there for the full hour they were their. I'd recommend booking them for kids parties because you can't go wrong with bubbles.
