The store itself is rather old, but prices overall tend to be cheaper than the more prominent and much heavier traffic stores. Service was non-existent, but they accept credit cards, and we were in and out pretty quickly, without any long queues or wait times.

I just wanted a shirt for myself though and was plenty happy to get a soft shirt without breaking the bank. The shop was empty when I wandered in. There was only a man at the register who was reading. I had fun browsing overall. Wish I had more time to see all the various aisles - there were so many little knick knacks and gift items. The shop is tucked in a convenient shopping plaza with plenty of restaurants and shops - perfect for grabbing a bite or browsing after a bike ride. What really made this experience great was the service we got from the owner, Robert. Pricing was very reasonable for a 2-hour rental, and helmets were included, even though they were required anyway. The ride itself was beautiful--lots of scenic views, and we easily had enough battery to cover several miles. The bikes had great speed and throttle and were really easy to use. The bikes were very good with great throttle and speed. We had an amazing time and enjoyed our bike ride through Kauai and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the island. In fact, we initially tried to rent from Pedego Electric Bikes Poipu. We called ahead, and they confirmed they were open, but when we arrived, the doors were unlocked and no one was inside the office. We waited for 10 minutes and no staff ever showed up, so we left. Thankfully, Kauai E-Bikes welcomed us right away and we were taken care of immediately. Very fast and efficient paperwork processing and then we were off enjoying our ride. The owner said don't worry if we're weren't back in exactly 2 hours. They were so generous but we came back 15 minutes earlier than expected.

Total cost = $80. They even threw in an igloo cooler at no cost too. Easy rental. Easy return. Staff was so helpful and friendly...they gave us the best places and time to go in the island. We had 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 10), so rented 2 boards, since the kids couldn't really do much paddling themselves. It worked out perfect. The guy was very helpful to put the boards on the rental car, and they even let you borrow a couple rubber roof racks and straps. Was super easy and super fast. He did ask if we wanted a dry bag, but then never gave it to us. I also forgot about it until we got to the river. Parking at the river was a bit of a pain, but we did find a spot and hit the water. It was a great afternoon in Kauai and so good that there was also a destination to the waterfall. The waterfall was pretty cool, and this was a great excursion at a reasonable price. Since there were an odd number of us, she gave us her single kayak so I was able to use that on the way out and then switched with my brother on the way back. It was really nice to basically have that private tour! Unfortunately because of the rain and rising waters, we weren't able to do the hike & waterfall portion of the trip but the kayaking along the river was really nice and enjoyable. Mikayla did take us out of the kayaks and show us some of the surrounding area and shared with us information about the different plants. It was fun! We only got a downpour on the way back for the marina for about 10min but that was part of the experience! We didn't eat breakfast before and do actually the length of time worked well for us. We left around 7:30am ish and made it back around 9;30am. The company refunded us 50% since weather made the hike portion impossible. Totally recommend bringing food though if you do the full thing:) and bring shoes good for hiking. Mikayla was friendly and helped get my two siblings (who hadn't kayaked before) adjusted and paddling in a straight line rather than zigzagging across. She was a great guide and would definitely recommend her! We learned a lot. And she gave us more recommendations around the island for the rest of our trip.
