The store itself is rather old, but prices overall tend to be cheaper than the more prominent and much heavier traffic stores. Service was non-existent, but they accept credit cards, and we were in and out pretty quickly, without any long queues or wait times.

I just wanted a shirt for myself though and was plenty happy to get a soft shirt without breaking the bank. The shop was empty when I wandered in. There was only a man at the register who was reading. I had fun browsing overall. Wish I had more time to see all the various aisles - there were so many little knick knacks and gift items. Twice this week on two separate visits I experienced very poor customer service. The first visit found myself and only one other customer in the store. As I was browsing, the employee was chatting with another customer about her divorce, her two son. I they had biblical names. Anyway, everything was about her divorce and her sons, not once did she stop to ask if I needed help. I continued to browse, and she never approached me. Fast forward a couple days, Thursday I checked the website for hours, which indicated 9:00 a.m. I knocked on the door, the employee looked up and ignored my knock. So I called to see if they would be opening soon, no answer! Employee can still see me I knocked one more time and she looked up gestured her hand as to flipping/shooing me away! I tried to make eye contact gesturing with my hands two five (10:00) she continued to shoo me away with her hand. Honestly, all she had to do was simply tell me when they would be opening. I felt she was very rude, and unprofessional. I've spent a lot of money in their establishment, told my friends too. However, I will no longer spend my $$$$ at any Blue Ginger.

On this most recent trip to Kauai, we stumbled upon this store at the Kukui'ula Shopping Center having no idea they had a store. I am a huge fan of Pikake and Plumeria fragrance, and their line is in this scent is EVERYTHING. Beautiful packaging and excellent customer service. When I returned to the mainland with my body oil and perfume, I was so excited to see I can purchase this line on Amazon as well. This is wonderful news, and I am now a forever customer having experienced their entire fragrance line in the store.

A ring I ordered turns out to still be a little too large and the store manager, Leilani suggested a half a size smaller and then had a special on a Ko'a Diamond one that is being closed out and on sale. So they located one, the last one in the company In Florida, in my size and it's on its way here now to make sure it's the right Koa color to match my gorgeous bracelet. The earrings I got for my wife's twin sister were perfect. I got my wife a pair and then realized, these were earrings to match a ring their late father got them in high school. I realized I couldn't just get my wife a pair and not a pair for her sister too. She's going to love them as much as my wife does. We're waiting for the ring from Florida to see if it matches my bracelet and then they'll ship all to me in California. Problem solver, professional and I give her a 5 star rating given my frustration with the product itself. Kudos to her!! The second part is disappointing, I purchased the koa wood cross on May 20th 2026, and six days later the chain clasp broke. Shouldn't happen with so called fine jewelry. Now this wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that this is my second piece of jewelry that I am having issue with. I purchased a Black pearl bracelet in June of 2026, the magnetic clasp broke a year later, I brought it into the same location, they sent it to Honolulu and six weeks later I received the repaired bracelet only to have the magnetic clasp break again. The issue appears to be the quality of the product, I don't know because I read good reviews too, but my experience has soured me on the product if it weren't for the great customer service of the Manager.
