I was verbally abused by her twice within a 3 week period, and reported it to corporate and area manager both times. Nothing was and likely will be done. The turn over at this store is unbelievable. Every time I step in every single employee greets me and ask if I need help, but they are not annoying and don't follow me around the store. I absolutely love their shirts. They're good quality and you can wash them a million times and they stay the same. Plus most of the times they have great deals like buy 2 and get 1 free. I came to this location for Christmas shopping and when the employee realized I was taking so much stuff offered me to apply for their credit card. I was doubtful at first but she explained me all the benefits and I ended it getting it. The credit card gives you an extra 30% off on everything you get for the first purchase plus all the deals they were already offering. I got so much stuff that day, all worth it! LOVE Hot Topic! Do not shop there. Jerry Steadman, the store manager, is beyond rude. Customer service from him…read morewas horrible. My wife was trying to return a pair of pajamas that she purchased in NJ. We were told that the manager, Jerry Steadman, would have to help her because she didn't have a receipt. No problem. Pajamas were brand new, in packaging with tags on it. She was only looking for a store credit. After waiting almost 10 minutes for Jerry Steadman, he finally came to the counter. He ignored my wife completely and helped another customer. My wife waited patiently for about 5 minutes. When Jerry Steadman finished with that customer, he turned and motioned for the customer behind my wife to come to the other side and he proceeded to help them. We've been waiting about 15 minutes so far without a single acknowledgement from Jerry Steadman, the store manager who sets the tone for the customer service. My wife finally spoke up and stated that she was next in line. Jerry Steadman turned, glared at her and in a very elevated voice told her that she would just have to wait. He turned his back to her and cut her off. My wife was embarrassed and humiliated in front of the other customers. She left the store crying. We never returned the pajamas and we will never be back to Jos. A. Banks again. There are too many places to choose from to have to deal with a store manager that hates his job and looks down on anyone returning something. His rudeness will not be tolerated. He owes my wife an apology. Worst customer service experience we've had anywhere ever.
