Great service ! After that my mom lost her hair because of chemotherapy, we were looking for wigs for long time. We got some syntactic wigs but those were purely made, specially inside cap was very annoyed my mom every time she was wearing. So I yelped and found AVERA in Pasadena, I called to asked some questions regarding the wigs and the material also I asked if they are providing wigs for cancer patients or not and Matt (very nice gentleman) answered over the phone to all my questions and scheduled in-person appointment for my mom. Our store visit was very positive experience because first Matt showed us the wigs inside differences and the quality, the synthetic and natural hair differences, the care instructions... also my mom had a chance to try several wigs to see which one was durable to her. About the store and service, it is a small store with few items on the shelves, usually they are receiving wigs every two weeks, also they have the custom made options which is little bit expensive. I needed a wig, and a needed one same day. Bachelorette shenanigans and I forgot to buy a wig for night 2. AVERA Hair saved the day! I was in a bind calling multiple places and I stumbled upon their business on Yelp. A fellow yelper, Caira, posted a photo a day prior displaying a few wigs in the shop. It's because of her photo, I found my perfect wig and newest obsession. I called AVERA Hair and inquired about the photo posted and if that particular wig was still available. The associate was so sweet to check yelp to see which photo I was referring to. When I arrived, the same associate greeted me and prepped my wet uncombed hair to try on the wig. Clearly, I was unprepared. Rookie mistake. She demonstrated how to put up my long hair being ever so gentle. It was top notch service! The wig was $90, synthetic hair, and the style was labeled Ashley on the packaging. Thank you AVERA Hair!! It was a successful night and my hair was a hit! Side Note: Parking can be an issue. This review is long overdue! I have tried two different types of Avera Virgin Hair, the first was using the Virgin Deep Wave and the second was the Kinky Straight. The quality of the hair is OUTSTANDING. My stylist colored both versions and this hair takes color so well. No tangles, no shedding just great quality hair that manages beautifully. In fact, I visited the actual store and even the owners were fooled and had no idea I had their product (Kinky Straight) in my head! I have tried many different types and qualities of hair over the years and I really think this hair is a tremendous value for what you get from the quality of the hair to the packaging and great customer service (If you live in the Los Angeles area you can even use Post Mates for same day delivery!). I know it can be daunting when it comes to finding a quality product that isn't going to break the bank and you can trust that using this hair will deliver. The best part of it all is if you take care of it properly it will last you several installs. One last thing...I have fine natural hair and have a few tracks sewn in for fullness. I use the Anti-Frizz line from Living Proof and it works so well with the KS hair.
