She's a challenging instructor (somehow convinced me to hop into crow during my first vinyasa class in a year!) but always reminds and encourages students to respect their body's limitations and offers modifications to prevent injury. Naturally warm and familiar, she fosters a real sense of ease and connection at the studio. I will say that the location leaves something to be desired--ImHere is in Elevate Fitness which is inside a warehouse, next to a welding company, inside a business park. Still, I'll continue to make my way out there because the classes are wonderful.

I love this Yoga studio!…read more It got me into a practice that made me feel so great. I love the fact that it is warm but not overpowering hot like some bikram studios. The instructors are all well trained and caring. They are so kind and thoughtful of your practice. Even if no one else shows up, they will give you a full class and help you work on your positions. The facility is GREAT! Everything you need in the locker room and it makes you feel comfortable. They sell yoga clothes too. Of course some are pretty expensive but most of the time they have sales and you can get some really great stuff. I think this is a really great introduction to yoga in a caring environment. They will help you build your practice. Okay, not a terrible place if you are experienced but oftentimes people get into their own rhythms and have a hard time changing styles. The C2 class is great for intermediate students. I know that some people feel this is a "cheap" or "corporate" way to approach yoga but how is that any different from the yoga classes at gyms. I feel like each Corepower has it's own feel and atmosphere. The teachers are different at each location and that gives a nice variety. But you know the training is pretty consistent. Frankly, I won't argue with a healthful exercise that encourages people who aren't comfortable working out to do something good for their bodies!

They do a good job of keeping the studio clean and neat. My favorite part about Core Power in Broomfield is that at the end of each class they give you a wet rag that has lemon-lavender scent in it to put on your face during Savasana. I love it!!! If you are thinking about trying a yoga class you need to try Core Power. It will be worth your time.
