I have been a loyal customer for almost six years, even after a change in ownership. During my last few pedicures my cuticles started bleeding, which should never happen. The first time, I assumed it occurred because it was a new nail tech. However, it has happened almost every pedicure in the past six months. Additionally , during my last pedicure a few weeks ago, I contracted ring worm, which I have never had in my life! One Diflucan and topical treatment for the past week and it has started to heal. This is alarming because it means that they are not disinfecting their tools and/or tubs correctly.
We just moved to the island and was referred to this nail salon. We came in and were set down. I went in today with my 11 year old daughter and mother for the following treatments. My daughter received a classic pedicure with gel polish and manicure with gel polish. She did add Crome to her nails. I received a deluxe pedicure with gel and a full set with gel. My bill came to $198.00. My mother received a deluxe pedicure with gel and manicure with gel. I will post photos of my nails and pedicure and my mom's. My full set came out looking awful. My cuticles are al cut up, he just kept digging. They were not filed down on the side or top and look like a bubble. They are so wide. The polish was put on my skin so it's already peeling off and they are not straight at all. My toes look dry and were all trimmed down crooked. I will post photos of them as well. No one spoke very good English and were very difficult to communicate with. My mother's look like my daughter painted them. She received the same pedicure as me, but we did not receive the same treatments. She was cut twice on manicure and left bleeding. My mom spent 89.00 dollars. I would not recommend this place at all. Cross the bridge and find a nail salon that you get what you pay for. Our nails are absolutely embarrassing. The saddest part about this small business is that they knew we were not happy and they never even asked what was wrong or how they could fix it.
Over it. Two nails came off in four days. I stopped going months ago because service declined dramatically after new owners. I came back because it's close to my house and I was hopeful. Friday it took 2.5 hours for the owner to remove my overlay, unnecessarily cut my real nail and put tips on. Then proceeded to the longest manicure I have ever had. Cut my cuticles to pieces, bleeding in several spots. Now four days later I am down two nails that have fallen off completely. Bummer
The salon itself was charming and kept clean! I was greeted as soon as I walked in, I made an appointment with Hannah (arrived 10mins early). I waited about 30 mins before Hannah started my nails, she was very kind. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said she could do it. Once she started shaping my nails, I noticed it didn't look good at all so asked if instead of almond (I looked like I had press on Halloween witch nails ) to do a basic square-oval and she said yes but that because of the new short length she wouldn't do the design. I honestly didn't mind the shorter length but was discouraged when she wouldn't do the design. I asked if she could do a small French tip and she accommodated. Before I was done Hannah had taken another client as she was scheduled an hour after me, but since she started later the other client was also waiting longer. I loved the nude color with the design, but as I got a closer look at home I noticed there was a lot of acrylic on the sides and need a bit more filing. I gave 4 stars because regardless, Hannah was polite and accommodating to what I wanted. I took a star for work that I'll need to do now at home since I wasn't able to stay at the Salon. Overall I'd recommend going, just maybe schedule to be first in the day instead of the afternoon if you're on a time crunch
10/10 would recommend! I called the day prior to set an appointment at 9:30 for my sister and I. We showed up 5 till and were greeted and started immediately. Pros: - Service was excellent - our nails look AMAZING - clean tools used throughout the entire process - massage chairs were so comfy - they offer a surplus of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) even though we didn't partake Cons: - NONE :) Pro Tip: - they do prefer cash payment for service and/or tip. Or you can pay via Venmo, PayPal or Cashapp. Seriously don't pass up on this place. I asked Hannah if I could take her to Atlanta with me! She's that good!
Best accommodations on the island!! Havana was AMAZING!! Havana went above And beyond for my daughters birthday party! They were amazing from the moment I went in to see if they could accommodate 6 girls for mani pedis. They not only said they could accommodate and make an appointment for 6 girls to get their toes and nails done at the same time. They recommended their PRIVATE suite that has 6 pedicure chairs!! I went to many nail salons to see if they could host a party of 6 or more. And it was the same thing.. they could book the appointments, but could not guarantee all girls would get their nails done at the same time.(walk ins appointments at nail salons are priority, in most cases) Havana and all the staff exceeded my expectations, let us decorate the room before hand and bring our own snack and drinks if we would like. My daughter had the best birthday ever! I will be back for a girls event very soon!
I am so sad to have had such a poor experience here. I've never experienced a worse pedicure in my life and I get pedicures every 4 weeks. I just moved to the area and chose this nail spa because of its reviews. I made an appointment at 1130 and got seated right away. I received a complimentary mimosa (excellent). Everything after that was downhill. I chose the "deluxe pedicure" which was supposed to take 38 mins.... I was there for over 1.5 hours!!! This was nottt because my massage was an hour long. My massage was short and the time it took this man to trim and paint my toes was insanely long. I have multiple cuts around my nails and he also cut the side of my foot from the foot file. He used slices of limes to massage my legs and the juices into my cuts made my eyes water. The paint job on my toes is all over my cuticles (because he forgot to do the cuticle work) and simply the paint is very messy. It'll be interesting to see how long the paint actually lasts. I think this man was learning or training which I'm all for helping people learn but at least don't charge full price for such service. He asked my a couple times if the paint looked okay and I'd point out where the was still paint on my toes but after 1.5 hours and my toes just continuing to not look better I gave up with him. I get my fingernails done every 3 weeks and was hoping I'd have success at this place because they have lots of SNS colors but I'm scared to ever go back. I truly wish I had a better experience but 1.5 hours for a poor pedicure is saddening.
Great place for mani pedi. Very friendly and make you feel like you've been coming for years. Hahn and Henry didn't rush through anything and made sure I was comfortable. My picture doesn't show very well, but there are dolphins and a pine tree on one nail and a star on another. I will definitely be going back!

Really clean, and everyone is so helpful. Hanna is the sweetest, she does my lashes. She's super fast at them and does a great job! She's pretty awesome at nails too. Personally Henry is incredible at doing the dipped nails, I get them in French tip and they last forever, he's so polite and the nails themselves are flawless. FLAWLESS, no bubbles trapped in them at all. They offer you water, coffee, soda or alcoholic drink of your choice while your getting your nails or feet done. I've gotten a pedicure done also multiple times and gotten the same girl Lindsy who is super friendly and easy to talk too. I always prefer her. The pedicure seats are so luxurious they massage your back while your feet are in the water, but if you have back issues like me just tell them to adjust the settings. If you go on a weekend night good luck with parking because there's a bar next door, and even with my disability tags someone had the nerve to park in a handicap spot. I waited and it was a women drinking. So parking is hell in later hours because of that sushi bar. The patrons there have no regard for rules or proper parking. That's not Havana Nails fault though. Another good tip is, they offer a punch card so you get a punch every time you get services and when the card is full you get a discount. They were kind enough to give cards to their clients for Christmas. As far as pay, they took my PayPal debt but I think they prefer Venmo along with credit card and cash. Overall though the salon gives a nice laid back atmosphere with very friendly staff and very accommodating that they fit you in same day. I don't see myself ever going to another place for nails and lashes.
The best nail salon in corpus. I love it here. They always do amazing work and take care of me. I always get my pedicures, manicures, and eyebrow waxing done here! Jimmy did my nails. He's amazing!

I had an appointment today and unfortunately left feeling incredibly disappointed and frustrated with my experience. I specifically wanted my nails to look nice for my husband's Coast Guard graduation ceremony this weekend, so I was especially upset with how the appointment turned out. I've had multiple French tips done at this salon before, but this is now the third time I've been scheduled with Jay, and each experience has involved an argument over what I'm asking for. I ultimately leave with nails that are not what I requested, and today I paid $137 for a manicure and pedicure that I am extremely unhappy with. I asked for a barely-there light pink French tip using Funny Bunny for the milky-white tips. I showed Jay a picture of exactly what I wanted. Multiple times throughout the appointment, I had to correct him because the base color was looking too orange and too dark. He assured me it was fine. I specifically told him that I wanted a very light pink base with the milky-white Funny Bunny tips. He then told me, "No, it won't look good. It's too light." He suggested doing chrome instead and said that the French tip "won't look good, in my opinion." I explained that I felt it wasn't going to look right because the nude color he had chosen was too orange and dark, and that I had specifically asked for a French tip with Funny Bunny. He then told me he was only going to use bright white because Funny Bunny "won't look good." At that point, I was so frustrated and uncomfortable that I just wanted to leave, so I agreed to the bright white even though it was not what I had originally requested. Unfortunately, the final result is not what I wanted at all, and I'm now stuck with nails I paid $137 for that I don't feel comfortable wearing to an important event. I was so upset during the appointment that I almost started crying. I understand that nail technicians may have professional opinions about what will look best, but there is a difference between offering a suggestion and repeatedly refusing to do the colors and style a paying customer has clearly requested. I shouldn't have to argue with my nail technician every time I'm scheduled with him just to get the color, shape, and style I asked for. I left feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and like my concerns were completely dismissed. Below is my receipt and the picture I asked for and what I ended up with. Laura was wonderful. The only thing she should have done differently was say "pick another color polish" because the owner obviously let them use thick gunky polish. No excuse or apology needed. As they know this is a problem. Look at other pics look just as horrible as mine. So please management don't waste your time to apologize. Because I will never be back. read more

Ching Lee gave me a dip mani and did an amazing job! She was very thorough and sweet. The salon was clean; not too many people inside at one time and everyone wore a mask. I've gotten many dip manicures, and this was one of the best! read more

Another great experience from Henry and Chen Li (sp?). I couldn't believe I was spending less than $80 on an amazing mani and pedi. Sns was only $35 and a deluxe pedicure (i chose mint as my scent!) was only $32. And both were spectacular. When they said $67, I thought they charged me with a basic pedicure by accident so I asked again and couldn't believe it. And with my $10 punch card, I only spent $57 on a great experience. Looove this place! read more

I absolutely love the new salon. Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The new salon is so nice and they have a large variety of colors. I also love that they have all the SNS dip powders with the coordinating polish colors so there is no guess work on matching up your toe polish to your dip nails. They did good job on my ombré nail color choice read more

My opinion on this place is probably really harsh BUT! It's the truth, I went in wanted a pedicure and gel nail polish and a pedicure for my fiancé. We're not from here and it was right by our hotel so we made a quick stop so I could get taken care of. I waited about 5 minutes before getting seated and they started right away did really good or so I thought. I was never offered a drinks when others were being offered, the prices are A LOT higher then what I expected. It was $45 just for the polish the pedicure was $28 each. Where I love the gel polish is $20-$30 at the most. I was happy when leaving until my polish already started coming off! Two nails had completely come off by the end of that day. I went in the next day had to wait 45 minutes just to get it fixed and of course they fixed them free of charge and they lasted one day, After only having the polish a total of three whole days, it's starting to come off again! I would not recommend this place at all for the polish.!. I'm already in a different city or I'd go in there and have them fix it again. read more

This was my first time here and I'm very happy with my experience due to the attention to detail. Vincent did my nails and was very cooperative with me about what I liked and didn't like. You can tell that they care about your experience and make sure you leave happy. Overall, I paid $45 for my full dip powder set and I think that is a good price for my length and shape. (They charge $5 extra for coffin shape) highly recommend. Just make sure you specify the things you like so that you leave read more

By far one of the best experiences I've ever had at a nail salon! Vincent was the one to do my nails and he was amazing; so into getting every detail right and he made sure that every step was completed with precision. Their salon looked beautiful and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Will definitely be visiting this salon again; also a surprise was that they utilized venmo for their card payments. 10/10 would recommend to all of my friends here at Coastal Bend! read more
