They did try to sell me on an upgrade, but that's a given at nail salons. I got the organic pedicure which is one of their higher ones. Great experience until the gentlemen began painting my toes. Mind you I was reading my book, so shame on me for not paying attention. But he used a color I didn't pick. I had specifically explained I wanted to see between 2 colors to match my fingernails. Once I realized, I stopped him, it was the first coat. He said that's the color. I explained that it's not either of the colors and I wanted to see between the 2. He gave me a hard time and brought all the books EXCEPT the one I originally chose from. I gave up and just said it's fine, just finish the color you're doing. He finished, only did 3 coats, and 1 top coat. Got up, said, "you're done" and walked away. No fans, nothing. Didn't help me out of the chair or assist in putting my slippers on. I'm sitting in the salon as I write this with a $62 regular polish wet pedicure as he talks shit a few chairs down to his coworkers. Todays my birthday. I'm not a confrontational person. The guy doing my nails was extremely rude and seemed irritated anytime I asked questions about what he was doing. I originally asked for a full set of builder gel, but he kept insisting on doing a fill instead -- which was totally fine, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't charged for a full set. When I asked about it, he immediately got annoyed. I also asked to look at builder gel colors, and he told me no because he was "doing a fill," then pushed me into choosing a cat eye color that I never wanted in the first place. When I said I only wanted a simple French tip, he got visibly frustrated, raised his voice, and said, "Well what do you want then?" while acting like I was complaining the entire time. I was being completely polite the whole appointment. I've honestly never complained about my nails before, but if I'm paying for a service, I should be allowed to ask questions and speak up about what I want. To make things worse, he added color over the builder gel that I never asked for, and the French tips were sloppy and uneven. After he finished, he just walked away without saying anything. I paid and spoke to the lady at the front desk about my concerns, and she basically told me I should've said something earlier and that my nails "didn't look bad." They absolutely did -- even my boyfriend noticed, and guys hardly ever notice nails. She eventually had another lady fix them, and I do appreciate her for trying because they definitely looked better than what the guy originally left me with. The pictures don't fully show it, but I can still feel all the bumps and unevenness on the nails. The most upsetting part is that one of my natural nails is now cracked, and I had spent forever growing them out. Communication felt tense from the start, and almost every request or question I had was met with attitude or frustration. When I showed inspiration photos, I understood the nails wouldn't look exactly the same, but the constant defensiveness made the appointment unpleasant. The situation that really upset me was when I went to wash my hands and was abruptly called out across the salon about whether I used soap, followed by eye rolling and attitude. It felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. The nails themselves were decent, but the experience completely ruined it for me. I ended up removing them because they reminded me of how uncomfortable I felt during the appointment. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I wanted others to be aware of my experience with Lynn.

I felt comfortable, the salon was clean and the couple was very friendly. I am actually going back today for a refill and another pedicure. Trish and Christian are a great young couple. They respect their customers time and make you feel comfortable.

So I'll start by saying I travel frequently for work and have been to MANY different nail salons…read moreand have pretty high standards for quality and cleanliness. With that being said...this is one of the worst places I have been to. I went a total of two times which is my own fault because I should have never returned after the first visit. However, there aren't many nail salons on the island and the one next door was not great either. Over the two trips here are the issues I encountered.... 1. Head lady was very rude! She even told the girl getting a pedi next to me that her eyebrows looked fake and were the wrong color. Who says that to a customer? She was trying to convince the customer to come to her salon to get her eyebrows done but that is not the way to do it. 2. Very unsanitary. I was glad to see that they had individually wrapped nail kits. Except they don't actually use them. They have them in a basket with an already opened pack which they seem to reuse. I witnessed it in the almost 2 hrs I was there. The man also wears gloves....which is nice except he reuses the same pair. Disgusting. 3. When it came time to get the manicure the lady left the pedicure kit in the basket and had new pack in the drawer...except it was already opened? When asked she says she always prepares it for the next customer. Not falling for it. Customers always want to see a new kit opened in front of them. 4. I always get a gel manicure and the quality at this salon was awful! Looks like a child did it. Check out the actual photos. I didn't have time for her to fix them, plus I was anxious to leave but I was so embarrassed running errands after bc they looked so awful and cheap. 5. For my pedicure they used the toe separators, they cheap "disposable" ones. During my manicure she took them off me and put them back in the drawer. In the drawer there were several individually wrapped new ones, however they keep reusing them for different customers. Just gross. They also took the toe separators and disposable flip flips off another lady and put them back in the drawer for reuse as well. How are other people ok with this!? It's not like they cleaned them between customers. 6. On several different occasions I politely questioned their practices, such as "that nail kit was already opened when I sat down...is it new?" Rather than just say yes or no they became very defensive and even more rude. This lead me to believe that they were guilty and just trying to hide their wrong doing. All in all there may not be many nail salons in the island but it's worth it to take the drive. This place cuts too many corners and I'm not risking catching some kind of fungus or infection. I am not even sure how they are still in business.
