What was really unprofessional and kinda ghetto was when they let a bunch of solicitors come in and try to sell things to us. The technician doing my pedicure wasn't very friendly and rushed through every step, which did not make for a relaxing experience or good results. My feet look and feel better when I do them myself -- not the outcome you're looking for when you go to a "professional." He left nail polish on my skin, which I could've asked him to correct, but I was so irritated by that point that I just wanted to leave. Absolutely would not return or recommend. Also - they use these plastic liners in the foot baths. Imagine filling a plastic grocery bag with water and putting your feet inside. I think it's great that sanitation is a priority, but it doesn't feel very luxurious. read more

Terrible! My sister and I got the same pedicure, mine started about 10 minutes after hers which was no big deal until the guy rushed through mine when a lady walked in to get her nails done and he finished my pedicure in about 20 minutes when it was supposed to be a 55 minute pedicure! I have absolutely no problem spending a good amount of money for a pedicure, only if it is somewhat worth it! I highly recommend going somewhere else because they do not do well when the get a small crowd! read more

First of all, my nails look and feel amazing! I had one of the best instant cappuccinos I've ever had and they did so well with my daughter (3). This was my daughters first professional nail experience and I can't say how much it meant to me that they were sweet and caring to her! She accidentally dropped a polish while we were there and they were quick to make sure her feelings weren't hurt. We will be back every time we are in the area! read more

I've gotten pedicures twice here last month with my mom (we nicked our nail polish so had to redo it) It's about $20 for a pedicure, which is an ok price, when you get the nice back massaging chair, and leg massage. The staff are usually busy, and you don't have to make an appointment. They will ALWAYS tell you to wait a few min, and you don't have to come back later, but this sometimes means that 1 girl is working on 2-3 people in various stages of manicure/pedicure. I got the same lady both times, she seems to be the fastest one at doing nails. So I had a lot of time to wait while she stopped my pedicure and went to finish the lady before me's manicure. Since we didn't have anything to do, it was fine and I just sat in the chair. My only gripes would be that my heels are done very very quickly, so they get rough again really fast. They don't seem to shave them down and just use a pumice stone to briefly sand, which is extremely ticklish. Secondly, I always bring my own formaldehyde free nail polish and top coat and I still pay full price, even when I don't use their nail polish... I think I could get a discount of $1 or $2 no? Since OPI is expensive, and I'm not using it. My mom likes going there, so we go back anyways. It's just not a gourmet thorough food sanding and flower toe nail designs I'm used to in Canada that we pay $45+ tax for. They never try to upsell you here so that can be a plus or negative depending how you look at it. I'm giving 4 stars because we can always walk in, and it's not too expensive and I like the chairs. read more

Atmosphere and cleanliness get 4 stars. It is hit or miss on whomever does your nails. And I am judging by the length of foot/leg massage. Lol. Only place I know of that uses disposable liners in the basins. Complimentary wine, water and the music is always soothing. Run by a couple with 4 year old who is usually there entertaining or annoying partons. Appointments are not necessary. Even if you do make one, more than likely it will not be honored as they move people through as they walk in. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The staff is friendly and the location is very convenient. However, my nails look absolutely horrible. I came in for a pedicure and a new set of SNS. The more I pointed out errors for him to fix the sloppier they looked. I left wishing there was another salon open for me to go have them immediately redone. I enjoyed my experience at Deluxe Nails for the most part. I came in with my mom and little brother and it didn't take very long for us to get to the pedicure chairs. One thing I was a little disappointed about was the fact that we had to ask for the complimentary wine rather than them offering it to us when we sat down. When we asked and got a glass the wine was nasty. You can tell it had been sitting on the shelf for a long time. My mom and I are winos so we were obviously dissatisfied. The man doing my pedicure was sweet. My mom and I chose the paraffin wax pedicure and it was pretty satisfactory. The paraffin wax was REALLY hot though...so just be aware of that before you decide on doing that. Especially if you have sensitive skin like I do. They are okay. She did an efficient job. I just got a gel manicure and it was $30, which Is only $2 more than I'm used to paying. I went in for a pedicure, and for a specific nail art design. I showed them a picture and asked them if they could replicate the design - they said yes and that they had all the colors. I went ahead and got the paraffin pedicure which is amazing - highly recommend if you want a pedicure. But when it came to the nail design the lady kept messing up and didn't have any of the colors. I went ahead and told her that I didn't want a design after all and she persisted on trying again. She wiped off the nail polish about 4 times. I just wanted to go home at this point and said yes I like it. I didn't realize till I got home how jacked it looks. Highly disappointed! I will not go here again plus they try to upsell everything. At the end when paying they asked if I liked the service I said only the pedicure and not the design. You would think based on their photos that they could do a simply design but I guess not. I came as a walk in for a manicure and pedicure right when they opened. They were gracious and friendly. My full set looks great. My pedicure was great. The guy that did my nails listened to my concerns and altered my nails to the way I desired them. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review would be the frequent lapses into their native language during my stay. I know this is pretty much standard at any nail salon you go to but its uncomfortable as a patron especially when they look at you and laughter are included. No matter how great my nails look I will not return if I feel as if I'm being disrespected. read more

Tech did a sloppy job on my toes, however the massage was legit. He cut my cuticle and make me bleed a little and did not understand almond vs oval so he gave my natural nails a ova-mond shape that is ugly. I will try other places before going back. read more

I'm from the Austin area and was very disappointed in the manicure/gel nails I got done here. Although the lady was very friendly, she did not spend the proper time to get the job done right. I understand they were busy, but it was not busy when I got there. The polish seemed like it was diluted so that she had to put 3 coats just so the color could match. She claimed it was the color I chose, but I have had this color before and it did not look like this. In the end, it looks like a job my 11 yr old daughter would do. Bummed and will have to get this fixed in Austin. Total waste of money. read more

I had my eyelashes done here. I didn't really have a good experience, the lady that did it I think her name was Mar...something(I forgot her name) did my lashes in a hurry to get to her "favorite customer." After I came home a few of the lashes fell off, I was left with ugly lashes. I wasted my money ($40+) only to have lashes for a few hours. I also made an appointment with them and when I came to the salon I still had to waited, like if the salon was busy then don't over booked people. read more
