We saw many different bugs but the one that did it for us was the scorpion and silverfish. We asked the local community what's pest control company should we use. We decided to have a national recognized brand come out and the next day Havasu pest control. The national brand said that they would do moisture checking to find out where some of the bugs came from. They showed up talked a lot and left. Next day Havasu pest control shows up. Jeff was very informative about the whole process and everything we needed to do. The wife and I were a little apprehensive about spraying in the house but Jeff explained the process, the chemical compound, and how any incidents with children or pets are basically non-existent. He explained do not let your children lick the baseboards. He explained the indoor and outdoor service. And helped us get set up with a plan that would fit our needs. He was very accommodating and patient. The wife had some questions about some other bugs that we have not seen and Jeff was able to give helpful information. The scorpion that I had caught animation jar and was waiting to release until our house had coverage was sitting in the front yard and Jeff was able to identify it. Sorry Havasu most everybody got it wrong it was a striped tailed not a bark. I had to call customer service shortly after to get my billing taken care of. And that was very quick and easy. I will update this again in a couple weeks. Because the paperwork says the process takes about a week to set in and you could still have bugs left over in your house that'll come out. I needed a weed abatement and control company in the Lake Havasu City area and screened many companies. I thought I could take care of the weeds myself and started off with the DIY approach which worked for a little until I became too busy. Before I decided to the DIY approach I had screened companies and Havasu Pest Control was one of them. They quoted a reasonable price at the time and Kayly answered all my questions and concerns with thought and consideration. When I decided to try the DIY approach, Kayly did not try to convince me otherwise and was actually kind as to help me with information that could make my job easier. The customer care was genuine and with my best interest in mind. I DIYed the weed issue for about 8 months before realizing it was too much for me to handle, and I immediately called Havasu Pest Control for a requoting of the process. Havasu Pest Control was my first choice for call because Kayly was so nice the first time around. The second experience was just as pleasant. We use Havasu Pest on a bi-monthly basis. It has decreased our outdoor pests to nothing, non- existent. However, we are vacation residents and our inside doesn't get done on the bi- monthly service. We were at our place this past week and noticed we had a couple of unwanted critters (1 silverfish, and 1, water coach roach). We called on a Monday morning and our tech, PJ was out within 1/2 hour. I have to agree with the previous review ~ do not use this company. They do not treat their current customers as if they appreciate their business so that tells me they don't want my business or yours if you are smart. I would say their inspection methods are questionable and rthe honesty of their reports certainly can't be trusted. They are more expensive than the other companies in town. Their employees don't offer you their business card when they show up and that should be a first sign of 'Buyer Be Ware". Bottom line their customer service is a big zero. Update - it has been just about a year since I had this bedbug pr pool l ppl l pp . I did not opt to pay the high priced bid Havasu Pest wanted to charge me to eradicate the bedbug problem they said I had. Instead I had several other pest control companies to come out to inspect my home. None of them found any suspected bedbug evidence. But just to be sure there was no bedbug problem, I did my research on the internet and then decided to do the home treatment myself. A year later I am happy to say I am not out two grand and a lot of disruption to my home and I have had no signs of bedbugs since. Hey LHC consumers, those pesky little bedbugs that are everywhere according to Lake Havasu Pest Control, have not been seen since I did my own do it yourself eradication method 3 1/2 year ago. We use Havasu Pest and Home Inspection for most of our properties. They are always helpful and will answer any questions. Always on time and do a very thorough inspection. Trish in the office is always accommodating with schedules or helping out with getting things done. As for being one of the most expensive, the complete opposite is true. Do not use these people! We bought a house and had them do our home inspection. We received a report stating no termites or pest issues. When we pulled up the old carpet two days after closing, we found what looked like termite droppings. I called them and they sent Jon out to inspect(the same person who did home inspection). He told my husband "yes, you definitely have termites" and handed me an estimate for $554 to treat. When I questioned him about it being covered under the home inspection, he said no. We then had two other pest control companies come out and BOTH said it was only cricket droppings. I paid $40 to have the entire house, inside and out, sprayed instead of the $554. Guess he thought we would just go on his word. Makes me wonder if he inspected the house at all. We will be turning him in the The Better Business Bureau! read more
