    terrible nailssss. I don't think I have to say much. i brought into their attention that one of the acrylics had a gap between the acrylic and the nail and things like moisture could get trapped and give me an infection but they didn't fix it

    I've been here twice so far and have found my new salon! 1st time, I took my 4 y/o daughter for her first mani/pedi as a special treat before vacation and the entire staff was so sweet! They took us last minute, were so fun, and also did a great job with her little nails and mine. 2nd time I came for a refill on my previous visit. Replacement of dip powder nails and went with a fun French nail. Julie did an AMAZING job! My nails are not think or bulky like a lot of dips can turn out. They look natural and beautiful, plus she asked to add a little flare and they came out better than I ever expected. I will be coming back for Julie and the whole staff from now on!

    Manicure with regular polish

    Called on a Saturday hoping to be seen and they got me in for a mani-pedi right away! The staff were all extremely nice, especially the owner. The quality of the services were both fantastic and worth every dollar! Their prices were moderate and comparable to other salons in the area. It's nice to find a spot that doesn't charge outrageous rates for quality work. I'm new to the area and have been looking for a new salon to frequent at and I'm happy to say this is the one!

    I couldn't be more disappointed with my service. I asked for a regular pedicure and SNS nails. My pedicure was lacking and also I don't like when they pop up it's tools from their station instead of an autoclave. The nail color was also incorrect but I didn't want to complain, it's fine. She forgot to put top coat on at the end and said she would do it after my nails were done, which I didn't want because I needed to put my shoes back on of course ... cause it's winter time and ya girl can't walk out with flip flops on lol. Anyhooo, I go sit down to get my nails done, no hand washing during the whole process,no base or top coat for those and my nails are bulky, uneven, the dip isn't even on all them correctly like there like areas where powder is missing or weirdly stacked, they also aren't shaped correctly but my nails are short so what's done is done with that. I would honestly give them less than one star so not spend your money here. Speaking of money... the math wasn't mathing. They said the pedicure was 35 the SNS was 48 +5 for my extra color. Then somehow that became 108 when I went to check out. .... So again would absolutely not recommend this place.

    I wanted to really like this place but I should have noticed the red flags. This is my first visit and I have an appt. 1. The manager sits me down I showed him the design I wanted and he quotes $60. Ok, that price seems fair. We picked out 3colors and move on. After he removed the old polish and starts to file my nails He passes me off to another tech. This is when it goes down hill. I kept showing her the design that's really simple and the pattern. She continues to say ok, apply the acrylic. I had to keep telling her to not file my cuticles with the hand file bec it hurt. Now, for each finger she polish one base coat, three coats of gel polish, one top coat. For each coat of polish my hand went in the us lamp for 99 seconds. When I commented the manager said ooh no it's not the damaging light. In any case my guesstimate over 30mins on each hand under the lamp before everything was done. After that she began to put oil on my cuticles. I stop her and show her the picture for the third time. The manager comes over and I told him that the reins tones had not been added. I only wanted it on one finger each hand. The manager then pulls another tech to place the them on one finger each hand. This requires me to wash my hands again, she applied stones then back under the uv light again. After more than two hours I'm happy with my nails. The manager says he's charging $75 bec it was a lot of work. It really wasn't but what ever I'll just pay and not come back. Well... here I am less than a week later I've lost some stones and the gel polish is peeling... now wasting time and money.

    Great experience at haven! Very attentive staff! With the cutest kids chairs! My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Will be back :)

    Literally just left and the tips are already lifting.

    I did get a decent pedicure so 3 stars. I also got tips and acrylics. I said I wanted short and they are too long for me to deal with. They also started to burn while the tech was putting them on so I pulled my hand away and said my finger is burning (something that has never happened to me before with acrylics) She grabbed it back without any consideration to what I just said. I feel like she rushed to get mine done and was annoyed by me wanting something basic When there were other customers who wanted designs. The tips were also not glued down correctly as 6 are lifting off. She never cut my nails down to ensure an even surface. Normally I'd go back and make them fix it...but I'll just go to my normal girl and my old house.

It is in an absolutely gorgeous old home converted to a business. Hardwood floors, beautiful details....and A LOT of stairs! There is no way to get in without stairs :( they do have back stairs, which are easier-ish to navigate, but still not amazing. The massage rooms are in the basement. at least UP the stairs is after they've worked out the kinks. lol I have had a lot of injuries and often use a cane, so i always have to weigh how much help i need versus how many stairs i can manage. But once i'm there, i am NEVER disappointed! Been going there off and on for many years. Beth, Dan, Kevin...i've lost track! All of them phenomenal. I always feel better after seeing them. I usually get medical massage due to my injuries and they don't disappoint. The only thing i don't like is something they can't change - the building. And I really do love the building. Just wish i were less broken :( i think the culpepper location is a storefront? not sure. maybe try there if you're not able to do stairs. it's too far for me and i love my peeps in Fxbg.

I have never met such a warm, caring and professional stylist in my life. we spoke at length to make sure she could envision exactly what I wanted, she talked me through the whole process and her fellow stylist, Nicole whose booth is next to us even helped out for a bit. My highlights are probably the best I've ever had in my life (15+ years of getting them done) and I am so happy to have found this place! Salon Voss you gained a new lifetime member!!!     I was a client at Salon Voss for years, close to 5 if not longer. Recently Ive had the worst…read moreexperience ever. Gina, is the reason I will never return that along with the fact that the owner, Tom has not responded to the 5 calls Ive made. She butchered my hair to the point of me being in tears in the chair. I asked what she was doing and she abruptly stopped and walked away getting another sytlist. No remorse, no apology. Ive never experienced a salon visit like this especially from Salon Voss. The salon has gone down hill and the customer service is horid. Not sure what happened to the great stylists they once had! I used to refer everyone there, never again.

Girl, Im not your friend. Im your customer. The third appointment, I had to reschedule because I was outside the door waiting at 3:50 pm (that's when my appointment was), and she kept saying couple minutes behind. 4:10 came and thats when she finally said "you can come in." Ma'am, thats when were supposed to be done with the wax not starting. So I rescheduled. This last appointment, she was running 7 minutes late, and same thing no apologies. Today, she burned me and she was so sarcastic and said, "If it turns into a third degree, then you can sue me." Like why would you say that? She keeps saying she never burned anyone before and educating me about our body temperature and how the wax is not 100 degrees. I showed her the burned spot and she still insisted it is not from the wax and it was from my underwear. If you can't apologize for running late all the time and treat your customers like shit maybe you shouldn't be in the customer service business? Also, you shouldn't be running a business with that attitude of yours. Disgusting.
