Here's the thing... even though this place is old and dilapidated, there is effort. The desk worker was very helpful and he even came over to give us more towels because he saw we had the kids. Room is unremarkable in every way but so is the price. The smell of cheap cigarettes hung in the room from when the door was open but otherwise there's​ no bad smells. Sheets and pillow cases look clean as do the blankets and spreads but the floor tells a different story: a story replete with glitter. On the plus side I didn't notice any critters in the room and there's good water pressure in the shower. The towels and cloths are getting thin and should have been replaced with the carpeting a while ago, and there's an odd stain on the front edge of the swivel chair, not sure I care to know what happened.
