Such a cool hotel…read more.. I come to Madison for work at least once a year and always stay at this Marriott... Arguably one of the nicest Fairfield's you'll ever find. This place was an old cotton mill that they redesigned into a vintage yet elegant Fairfield (they probably could have/should have made it a JW, it's that nice). The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the location is perfect... Situated right on the river with great scenic views and a short 5 minute walk to all the excellent restaurants and watering holes on Main St that Madison has to offer. If coming through town for work or for leisure, this Fairfield Inn is the place to stay.

Their practice of not having an employee who customers meet face-to-face and instead using text/email for entrance instructions is probably off-putting for some (it initially was for me), but their system works just fine. Yellow gunk was all around it and the side table was crumbling. Ew. The breakfast at the place was really small and very basic. There was cold cereal and a few hot meals, along with some baked goods and packaged muffins. However the fruit was rotting and disgusting. But if you are in a hurry, it will do. Very angry and reporting to health dept, osha, Booking.com, BBB, and Comfort Inn. I only wish I could add the pictures to review.
