I called and spoke to Dave. They had a full docket but he told me to come by the next morning and they'd work me in. After I dropped the truck off, they called me within a couple of hours to let me know what was wrong and authorize the repair. They used original Ford parts and were far less expensive than the dealership! I have heat again! The team was very friendly and professional. I was pretty nervous to go to this guy due to seeing a lot of the bad reviews. After getting it in finally he called me several times to update me on what was going on with my car (very appreciated). He has answered all my calls and questions (which have been a lot) with out getting upset or frustrated. I saw a comment that said all the good reviews were his friend and to not believe them. I am not one of this guys friends and so far I have no complaints. I have read all of the reviews and in the case that I could have had the same situation (like my card not going through on their end and them wanting me to bring my own oil) seemed to have been resolved. He did not ask me to bring in my own oil and is now only taking cash or check, I'm guessing due to card reader errors. As of now I definitely recommend this place. Prices have been great too. He has not tried to take advantage of me (I am female) but I also have a big scary aunt who knows a lot about cars. In need of a mechanic. This guy is pretty good.

No awkward parking lot maneuvering or confusing entrances, which I always appreciate when I'm on a tight schedule. Since I work downtown, the midtown spot on Leavenworth is perfectly central for me. Quick to get to before or after work without going out of my way. Being centrally located in Omaha in general, it's a convenient stop no matter what part of the city you're coming from. Solid experience so far and a location that makes it easy to get your car serviced without the hassle. Would recommend if you're looking for a shop that's accessible and doesn't eat up your whole day just getting there.

So I took it to a patriot authorized dealer and they told me chat all the parts that central body was telling me were not factory that they were in fact factory. So I decided to take it to a trailer frame shop who told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my trailer. Central body cost me my walleye fishing trip not to mention the pain and anguish I went through thinking my trailer was junk. Come to find out they just jacked the trailer up in a nonload bearing spot total ignorance on their part. I would not have them do any work to any thing I own.

It turned out there was a problem with a part that was recalled and he explained exactly what it was. He told me that although I didn't want to go to a dealer, that would be my best bet because they will likely fix it for free. He also didn't charge me for diagnosing the problem. He was extremely kind and honest, I feel so much better knowing exactly what the problem is and that I won't be dragged along when I take it to the dealer. I will definitely bring my car back to him in the event I need repairs in the future.

i called to have my muffler looked at because it was loud, they told me to come in and they would…read morelook at it, they had me come under my car so i could see what was wrong (a hole in my y pipe) i asked questions they answered them, we figured it would be good for me to get it patched instead of replacing the whole thing, he showed me prices of y pipes and told me if i patched it then replacing it will come later but for now the patch should last me a couple years, we set an appointment for my next available day and he told me it would take about an hour, today was the day and it took 30 minutes. affordable, nice, clean. i can't speak higher of any other auto shops bathroom, it was heavenly!!! love the people and my new-sounding car!!!

This was our first time using Dingman's and it will be our last…read more We dropped my wife's vehicle off for hail damage repair on September the 16th. That Friday, she received her one and only update call letting her know "we will for sure have your vehicle through next week." No big deal, we have rental car coverage through insurance for up to $600 which equates to roughly a month. So based on the timeline of "through next week", we figured we were good to go. Unfortunately, "through next week" came and went. When my wife called for an update on September 27th, she was told her vehicle was going to paint "this next week." Okay, a little longer than we expected but we still had the rental. On Monday, October 7th, she received a notice from our insurance company that her rental coverage would expire on October 10th. When she called...again...to try to get an update, she was informed that her vehicle had not been sent to paint as she was told. Additionally, she was told that they were not sure when the vehicle would go to paint. We are now through 4 weeks and our rental car coverage is up, time to turn in the rental vehicle. My wife's vehicle is still not done. So, we are left to figure out how to manage transportation for two adults who have jobs and two children with activities with a single vehicle. Our new timetable is two more weeks, so six weeks in total and that is if they manage to hit this deadline. No apologies, nothing. Nothing more than "this is how long it normally takes." If 6 weeks was the original timeline, why were we not told that when we first dropped the vehicle off??? It's absurd. Here is the biggest problem: the communication has been absolutely horrible. No calls to give us updates, no "we are really sorry, this is taking longer than we initially told you", nothing, nada, zilch. At times we have called (late afternoon) and have been told we will receive an update in the morning. Crickets, no return calls, nothing. We asked if they could assist with either a loaner vehicle or additional rental car assistance and we were told that they wouldn't be able to help, and we had to figure it out on our own. Apparently, we are not alone either, as my wife was told there were others in the same boat as us. It may not be a problem to Dingman's, but it is a problem to us. Use this shop at your own risk because we had to learn the hard way.

(I thought it odd that a repair/replacement of a liner surrounding a tire didn't require the removal of the wheel, but it apparently doesn't.) I was a customer of Dave's and was disappointed to see that they had been taken over by B Street. However, I found the new shop to be very clean, attractive, modern (but with cool old automotive signs) and spacious, and the people are just as friendly and professional. The work got done as fast as possible and they took care of dealing with my insurance company when my insurance company was dropping the ball. I HOPE I never have to come back, since that means something bad has happened to my car but I would not hesitate to return to B Street - Irvington if that was the case. RECOMMENDED!
