We brought our car into the shop to fix our daughter's car which was making a rattling noise in the front end. We had already paid for an inspection and it was diagnosed as a bad control arm. They repaired it at a cost of $1057 and it did not fix the issue. They called me to tell me it did not fix the issue and would need another $200 to dive deeper into it to figure out what it was. Complete incompetence by both the company and mechanic! I understand you are only as good as your workers are but for them to ask for another $200 because they had no idea what they were doing to begin with is crazy! I attempted to get an online quote through Yelp for replacing my brake pads and rotors. Other shops asked me a couple of questions and gave me a quote. Callee over the phone for a muffler delete quote. They just told me come in so they can do their inspection then give me a quote. They quoted my $657 for LABOR alone. Went to another shop down the road. $206 total for labor and welding. This place is an absolute joke, waste of time and money. read more

It never hurts to get a second opinion. This shop is very nice and seemingly thorough with their explanations, I had no issues being sold $3500 worth of "necessary work" done on my car that was brought in with a check engine light. I was told they fixed the issues and cleared the code displayed after 3 separate diagnostic charges ($196 each). I took my newly "fixed" car home and within 4 days the check engine light came back. I returned to the shop and was told if it was the same code and under warranty they would cover the issues. While the code was the same displayed before they found a new issue totaling to nearly another $1000. After receiving their diagnostic I contacted multiple other shops in the area and was quoted half of their estimate. My car is now at another shop being taken care of and after being shown the diagnostic form from mad hatter, the new technician explained they should have found this issue the first time had they actually done the other work they said they did. Mistakes happen, cars need work done, but after dropping 3.5K at this shop, you would think they would make it right. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion if you feel these quotes are a bit high, they are. read more

Scammers. Would not do a simple wheel alignment without a $70 whole vehicle inspection that they apply if alignment can be done. So of course they found stuff wrong and would not complete without extra repairs. Complete BS. Drove it straight to Brakes Plus a couple blocks away and they did it with no issue. The guy that answered the phone couldn't quote a simple muffler replacement without having me bring the car all the way down there. Every other shop, including the dealer, was able to give me a quote over the phone. It sucks to call a repair shop and feel like you're talking to a used car salesman. If they're too scared to tell you the price over the phone, they're probably going to be too high in price. read more

in July they repaired my car and had no complaints. Fast forward to October and it's a different story. my car was having the same exact issue as in July. They told me I would need to go to the dealer to find out the underlying problem. ok fine. my engine light is now on but was not when I dropped it off. I go back inside and they tell me I have to go to a dealer to find out what the issue is. I get my car back on Friday, that night my radio and ac/ heater lights don't work. They finally turned on on Saturday. Sunday I tried using the heater and it doesn't work. they check it out and now they want $600 to fix my HVAC blower. Nope, not happening. I pick up the car and have to return because they didn't have everything put back together. what a joke they are. don't waste your time or money here. read more

They replaced a part two years ago on the exhaust system. The warranty had expired two months ago. They replaced this same item at no charge to me even though the warranty had expired. That was very nice of them to do that, many companies may not have done that. read more

I had to get my muffler replaced. I got a call that I needed a power steering fluid flush and brakes. I had the power steering pump replaced a month before I needed muffler service, obviously didn't need service. The counter guy went to check and blamed it on the technician. Caught in an upsell. Then my daughter had her van in the shop for weeks to replace an engine after they charged her for a starter. One week after they finally finished the van it totally dies on the road. I'm sure nobody I know will ever use this place; it should be shut down. read more

Issue on a dual exhaust and instead of cramming an expensive part down my throat they found a workable alternative and fixed the other exhaust before it turned into a problem. I asked for a quiet muffler for my truck and instead they put on a cheap muffler that was loud. I came back to complain and he sold me a $400 muffler and credited me back for the cheap one. Come to find out the $400 muffler can be purchased for less than $175. Very dishonest and I will not do business there again. Also, the quality of the work was poor. Welds were sloppy and leaked. Please use caution using this place. They DO NOT stand behind the work they do. Very unprofessional. There are many exhaust businesses in Omaha that will stand behind what they do. Unfortunately this place does not. Also checked the lug nuts and one is missing and the rest of them were loose. What mechanic would send a vehicle home like this?? We took our van in to have the muffler replaced. When they sent the quote it was over $2,000 with a long list of other things that, according to them, needed fixed or replaced. One of which was the battery which is only 5 months old. We told them to just replace the muffler. When we went to pick it up, they told us our battery (that's only 5 months old) needed replaced because they had to jump start the van every time to start it. We had zero problems with that battery prior to taking it in. There is also a long scratch in a window that we just had replaced that morning. Once I got into the van to leave, the tilt on the steering wheel was busted and the steering wheel was flopping up and down. We told the manager and he said it was fine when he moved it out of the garage. He also said that they don't touch anything when they get inside the vehicle. However, the driver's seat was raised to its highest level and the radio station had been changed. He started to argue with me and my husband about it in the parking lot and was yelling at us. Very unprofessional! Then as he walked away he yelled, " I know people like you, always trying to get something for free!" They also left a magnetic screw driver on top of the van, which we didn't notice until we got home. These people are very unprofessional and have zero human relations skills. Joe told me it would be done in about an hour, he got to work right away, and got it done in about 30 mins. The welding looks solid and my car sounds amazing. Took my F150 here to get duel exhaust put on it about a month ago. The guys here were very knowledgable about the products and services they offer. After 5 hours I came back to pick it up. They were so proud of the job they did they had to lift my truck to show me. The welds were perfect and the entire job was done with extreme perfection. For just under $500, it was more than worth the money. It's a perfect match. It turns heads but doesn't wake the neighbors in the morning. (Even though you can definitely hear it.) I would recommend this place to anyone looking to improve the sound and performance of their truck or car! read more
