I had a really good experience purchasing a couch from Haverty's. It was certainly an investment, but I feel confident that the quality will live up to the cost. The showroom was lovely, and the staff was so helpful. We enjoyed working with Shayla in the store, and she promptly answered all of my follow up questions. I'm really grateful that the couch we picked out was available in the warehouse so we were able to have it delivered pretty quickly. We did encounter a couple of hiccups with delivery, but customer service and the store worked with me to get it right. We'll definitely buy more furniture at this store. read more

I had a great experience at Havertys. I bought two reclining sofas that are super comfy. They were more expensive than other businesses and I think they could have done better on the price. However, the furniture is nice. I did have a small problem. I noticed after delivery that a screw in the reclining mechanism was sheared off. Hey, these things, they happen. I contacted Haverty's, reported the issue. How they handled this is why I'm giving them 5 stars. They replied quickly and scheduled a tech to come out. The tech arrived within the 2 hour window agreed to and fixed the problem at no cost. Excellent service after the sale. . . . .No if I could just get my home builder to follow this level of service, I'll be set. :) read more

Buyer beware! Waited over 3 weeks for sectional couches and they deliver mismatching sectional pieces and they still think this is okay. Not to mention one of the sectional pieces was broken upon arrival. See photo provided. Call customer service and salesman and all they can tell us is they are looking into solutions. The only solution to me is provide the product I paid lots of money for and waited over three weeks to be delivered. Did I mention the salesman blamed us for the issue because they were discontinuing the sectional we purchased. How were we to know this. Avoid at all cost! Not worth the headache read more

Daniel and I had been trying out mattresses for about 9 months. We've spent countless hours traveling from store to store in the NWA area. Do we like soft or firm, pillow top or not, low profile or standard. We kept coming back to the Natasha. It's a Beautyrest Black series. Finally we had decided! Now where to purchase. Amazon and several other online retailers offered the Natasha, but did we really want to order online? We opted to purchase at our local Havertys. We had been in the store multiple times but didn't really have a salesperson that we were working with specifically. On a random Thursday morning I walked into the store and was greeted warmly by Nehemiah. He asked how he could help me and I responded with I know exactly what I wanted. He and I walked back to the mattress section ordered the Natasha mattress and box spring set. We arranged a delivery date, I paid and was done! Fast forward a few weeks and we were two days before the delivery date and it hit me out of the blue....surely the new bed comes with a bed frame, right? Since we were changing from a queen to a king, we didn't have a king frame. So on my lunch break I called Havertys. After talking to several people I was able to talk to Nehemiah. He confirmed that I needed to purchase the frame, it was not free or included with the cost of the bed. Not a huge issue, but it would have an issue had I not thought to ask. I split the blame for the oversight at 50% Nehemiah and 50% on myself. Do I think he should have asked, yes, in hindsight. But I also didn't allow him to "sell" me on the mattress purchase. I went in, knew what I wanted, bought it and was out in less than 15 minutes, so lesson learned on my part and hopefully on Nehemiah's. The several times we visited the store were pleasant experiences. Nehemiah was professional as was the checkout personnel. PS- the mattress was worth every penny! read more

I WANT to like Haverty's. I've been in several times and the sales people are nice and knowledgable and they seem like they have good products. However, I ordered a large leather sectional last year for our new house. They deliver it and I realize a couple of weeks later that one of the components that attach the pieces together is missing, which the assembly guy should have seen. I call them, they order the part and schedule a date to replace it. I take off work...they never arrive. I call. They say it hasn't come in yet and they forgot to call. They reschedule. They don't show up again. Same issue - hasn't come in from the warehouse. They finally mail me the part but at that point I'm over it and have no more days off. They send me a gift certificate for my trouble along with a letter of apology, so I feel like that's a nice gesture. I go in to redeem the gift certificate on a nice lamp I fall in love with. They tell me it will be in on Monday, I double check they'll be open because it's 4th of July. I go in Monday to pick it up, it's not there - won't be available until Thursday. I just picked it up today and as I'm trying to assemble, I realize 1) it's missing a piece and 2) the main hole the pole part of the lamp goes into isn't drilled correctly. I call and they want me to bring it back to them so they can order a new one. At this point I'm done...they should bring ME a new one and pick up this piece of junk lamp that doesn't go together. Do business with them only if you have a lot of free time and patience. read more

Have visited Haverty's a few times in the last 3 months and purchased an executive desk and tables. Service and sales staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They treat you professionally and are attentive to your needs. Haverty's also did a 3D layout for multiple rooms at our home at no cost and even visited our home to take measurements. These folks know how to treat their customers right. Ask for Matt, Jeff and Paige the next time you visit the store. And by the way, the desk is excellent and we use it everyday! read more
