I don't recommend you bring your things here or even that you purchase things here. As far as purchasing goes, I find their selection to be very dated as far as the age of the items and the current relevance. There are much better high-end consignment retailers in the Newport Beach area. The other issue that I had with them, which was my biggest issue, I dropped three items off one day and the owner was there and took them, but after I left, I realized he didn't give me any paperwork so I called him and asked him to send me some paperwork so I had Paper trail. He sent me a hand scribbled piece of paper which I kept, but then when I went back, they could never find my goods or my paperwork. It went like this for a year and finally, I threaten them that they needed to pay me for my items and that took several more months, but I finally got paid. Don't go here. A friend and I visited this store and saw they were selling designer handbags. She was leery of them being real and I was skeptical of spending that kind of money on a fake product. I asked the owner, who I see from these reviews, his name is Rob, if a certificate of authenticity is given with all of their bags. I feel I am a good judge of character and did not feel he was being genuine. We left the store and felt I needed to do my due diligence before forking out that kind of money on a luxury purchase. I decided to look up Yelp reviews and lo and behold, my gut was right. I went a step further to look at the Better Business Bureau (Havoc FashionS) and just as I suspected a complaint was filed in August 2022 for selling a counterfeit handbag without issuing proof of authenticity. Again the first review was removed because it didn't have all the details of my experience so I went ahead and I posted a new one that is accurate and follows the correct guidelines. My experience with your company was purchasing a fake Chanel bag and that is all that is being left in the review, you can post the original removal notice but that doesn't make my experience invalid, we paid cash and then when confronted you couldn't do anything and asked for authentication for an item bought at your store. read more

I found a dress I liked and talked them down on the price. The dress was never worth $359. There was no recognizable name brand on the dress. I liked it though and agreed to pay $220. The owner didn't have me sign anything or see the receipt. Luckily he sent a receipt to my phone. I looked at the text message receipt and saw I was charged $245. I asked why I was charged $25 for sales tax. He told me sales tax was close to 10% in CA. (That still does't add up, as 10% of $220 is still just $20). So I did a quick google search and saw the sales tax rate was 7.75%. Then he claimed he was charging me 2.9% to cover cc charges. I said he needed to inform me ahead of time if he was charging me that fee as I considered that to be the cost of doing business. Then he got mad at me and said I should just take the dress and not pay for it, weird. Then he gave me $10 in cash to cover the $7 he over charged me and I left. I thought Kristie, the sales person was nice. Overall, it was a bad experience I would not repeat. They willingly admit they have fake items in their store. It is against the law to sell fakes and I should have known right then it wasn't a place I wanted to do business with. read more

I always stop in to browse Havoc after a fabulous brunch at Anastasia's and before walking down to the beach. However, that's usually all I end up doing: BROSWING. While it's a hidden gem of one-of-a-kind, selectively chosen designer pieces, it's dare I say it, a little outdated. Most isn't even plausibly wearable, unless you're older and flashy (yikes!). Their prices are expensive, as well. I found the same giraffe print blouse made by Laundry at Buffalo Exchange in Costa Mesa for under $15 and at Havoc it's $85! Sometimes they'll have cute things like the original Chanel purses, but those fly out of the store within a couple days. In my opinion, this place is more antique than consumer, but definitely worth a look if you're feeling nostalgic. read more

BE WARNED!!! I took in some high end designer items, and after discussing with the assistant and then the owner Hella, later that day, I had a hesitation about leaving them with her. I knew their value, since none had been used, and they were all limited editions. She argued that they weren't worth half that, but insisted that I leave them with her so her photo man could do shots and research. I showed her what they were worth online and she was amazed that I had researched. But she still insisted that I leave them. I was uneasy about leaving them so The next morning I called and said I was coming to pick them up. When I got there, they were all on the floor ( I had provided the original bags for each item but they were stuffed inside) and one item was already on a mannequin, even though I hadn't signed an agreement. The owner never spoke to me, kept her back to me, and didn't offer to help me with the several items I had left. I had to remind her that one was missing, and she took it off the mannequin. She never thanked me or said anything as I left. There was no reason for her to be rude. Another reviewer wrote that she left items and never got her money for them. I am convinced that this woman knew the value of my items and planned to sell them for full value and then tell me she sold them for much less. Be very careful if you are not an 'old friend' selling your wares... because she cannot be trusted. read more

BE SURE TO GET A CONTRACT WITH SPLIT AGREEMENT 50%/50% OR 40%/60% (?), CUSTOMER NUMBER AND PRICING UP FRONT. Should be a simple enough process but for whatever reason they expect you to "Trust" them to leave your items without a simple written understanding of the business terms. When I called and also returned to the store to obtain the information, I was told to pick up my items - and informed "they don't do business with people that don't trust them" This may have been an exception as I know they have been in business for a long time in a small community but it is not a good way to transact. The people here are so nice. I'm not sure of their names however it appears to be family owned. 3 generations were there: a baby, what appears to be the mom, and the mom's mother. Extremely welcoming and warm, friendly, helpful, and informative. I've been judged on my size and appearance, but it appears this didnt even matter to them; very genuine people. They even allowed 2 very sweet well behaved doggies to come in as their owner was looking around. They have high fashion items from jewelry to purses, shoes and dresses. It is a consignment shop with very high end items. I did not see items that would fit above a petit woman. Unfortunately that's how high end fashion industry is. I did not go in looking for my size, I only went in for curiosity. Walked in today along with my grandmother visiting Laguna. Upon arriving in this cute little town, this shop caught our eyes with it's marked down display of designer goods. However, me and my grandmother were hesitant to enter since high end boutiques are notoriously known to discriminate those who do not appear as saavy. Entering anyways, we were kindly introduced by Jane! With a warm welcome, she kindly introduced us to the purpose of the boutique and what it had to offer. Opening displays and allowing us to see goods that caught our interest. Rather than a serious and pretentious aura, the conversations between us were casual and happy-go-lucky. They have everything from Chanel to Hermés to Roberto Cavalli amongst other designer and hug end brands. The store doesn't always consistently have the same items since many of the products they receive are from second hand sources. Being said that, their prices are marked really low and are all final sale (so pick carefully!).
