Customer service is unprofessional, starting with the old man at the front who instructs who will conduct the service. He is rude and has no manners. I went as a walk in and waited about half an hour for someone to become available. They were very busy and seemed to be overbooked as well, from what I overheard. The atmosphere was nice and you could tell that the employees had established relationships with their clients. This made me want to continue to come back here. I received a pedicure and had an excellent experience. The massage was amazing! The only issue I had was that my gel was still wet. Later in the evening I saw that some of the polish was dull and textured. This is disappointing because I don't have time to return and get it fixed. When you're paying $40 plus tip, you expect it to be done right. I think I will return here but will during a less busy time. read more

Found on Yelp, called last minute for a pedicure and they squeezed me right in. I want to say his name Is Danny, he is an older Vietnamese man with peppered hair. I have never been given such wonderful attention, he massaged my calves and feet for sooo long ! It was an awesome attentive experience with great conversations. What a dishonor to Hawaii this place was terrible. I walked not busy at all I had gel on my toes and instead of soaking off they proceeded to start file my nails with a drill. He repeatedly burned me, I asked why not soak off and he said that it took too long. Then someone stepped in to help and here he comes with the drill again. I just said it was ok and left. Idk if this is an El Paso thing but people in Hawaii take pride in their work and services and they soak off gel polish. I will never ever go there again. Awful! My first time coming to this place and the last. The guy doing my nails couldn't get my nails to glue I didn't say anything because things happen. Then i proceeded to tell him I wanted a color but he couldn't understand me so someone else had to translate no problem there but as soon as he got my nails glued on I saw my pointer finger was not straight I told him and he completed brushed me off and said something to his coworker. The coworker tell me he isn't done yet and I said he doesn't need to be done it just doesn't look right she then agrees with me. Keep in mind I was being respectful the whole time. this guy gets up and throws his instrument and turns off the light and leaves! and I start looking confused his coworker then tells me I have to wait for her. as I'm waiting I tell her it's multiples nails that are not right to just soak them off. she proceeds to do that and after she is done I say thank you and I get up and she says " okay girl sorry we couldn't make you happy". but it wasn't about That. I agree with the person before who stated they have very good customer service!! Both the ladies who worked on me were great! I got the deluxe pedicure and a shellac manicure. Let me tell you, it was the best $55 I have spent. The lady who did my pedicure took her time and was very meticulous. All of their tools were sealed in a sanitation pouch so I knew their tools were clean as well. Some salons simply rinse their tools to avoid actually sanitizing them. It was a little over an hour and for $35, it was well worth it. Now on to the lady who did my nails. She was equally as attentive and did a wonderful job. She kept telling me that if anything happens to my nails to come back and they will fix it for free-awesome! Love this place, it will now be my go-to nail salon in El Paso! I wish I could say my experience was a positive one, but as is obvious by the star rating, it's clear it wasn't. I don't like to complain, I just don't go back. But maybe this will save you the frustration I experienced. How would you rate this experience? * The male nail tech did such a sloppy job on the refill and polish, that Mary had to do it all over again. (She did a great job) My natural nail covered the underside of the acrylic nail nicely and there was no lifting. He took the sanding tool and sanded off my natural nail which 2 days later caused lifting and 1 nail fell off. I started noticing more lifting and 6 days later I had to have all my nails removed. ($42.00 paid in vain) I had my nails for about a year. So this was as a result of the sanding of the underside of my natural nail. * The same day I had my work done, another lady, I don't know, was next with the same male tech. I told her he did a very bad job. Guess what? She returned the same day due to poor work and had to get the work redone. * in all fairness, Rosie and Mary do good work. At the end I wasn't charged to get my nails removed, but I wasn't offered any compensation either. read more

Not the best spot!! I got a decent pedicure. They constantly attempted to up sell me on gel when I asked for regular. Then when I sat down and asked for a squoval shape the guy said that my nails were too round. So in response I said should I get a rounded nails and he said well I don't know what you can get. The guy with the messed up teeth kinda berated me in front of the customer. There were three other ladies waiting and he also just sat there on his phone not helping anyone. Also the salon looked extremely basic! There were like 5 choices of opi colors, there were only generic/off the wall brands. Writing a review as there is a lack of recent reviews. Make sure you make an appointment as they were totally booked they were no longer taking walk-ins. That being said they did a great job with all three of our nails. We did mani -pedis and they were very thorough. Kept ensuring that the shape was correct, that we liked the color, and that it wasn't hurting. Final point is the prices are very reasonable, 2 of us got gel, 1 got acrylics and it's better priced than anywhere we've been in El Paso. read more

I've been to Hawaii Nail & Spa twice. Each time I've gotten the best pedicure that I've ever had at the most reasonable price that I've ever seen. Mary is who I prefer to see. She's just lovely. The polish lasted for almost a month without chipping last time. We'll see how this time goes. Everyone is super friendly. They are patient and kind even to extremely rude customers. Came in to do my pedicure and fills. They did my pedi but he was so distracted and took a long while to pay attention to me... Now I have been waiting to do my fills and it is taking them a long time to start with me. Other people have gone ahead of me and still no one has helped finish what I can for. I have been waiting for a half hour which the owner said 5 minutes. We'll it must be 5 minutes somewhere. Not here. I just mentioned it to them again. Never am I coming here again. I should of gone to my nail place. Oh well my fault too. Still waiting they moved me to a chair closer to the nail station but no help. read more

I went to this nail shop after reading reviews I figured I would give them a try. I called and made an appointment then once I arrived they had no clue what I was talking about. So I sat down in the persons chair and told her what I wanted. So she says oh you want gel I said yes. She pulls out this powder as though it is gel and as I know gel isn't powdered. She left my thumb half painted and but i didn't notice till I got home/ she put gel polish on my nails and charged 45 dollars for them. She talked about her other clients and customers badly. She said they call her the mean one. She talked about her co workers badly and it was just a bad experience. Stop charging people for acrylic powder and put gel nail polish and say that's your gel nails. It isn't and definitely isnt worth 45dollars. Beware of this place. They say they arent here to rip people off and that exactly what they do with this gel service. Side note one of my nails did break and they fixed it after a week. But I won't ever go back. I feel I have found my nail salon here after almost a year of searching. I gave it 4 stars because I didn't like all the musical chairs of who was going to do my toes. But the girl Sony who finally did my pedicure was great, she took her time and asked me what I wanted and I enjoyed my pedicure. My nails never looked better because I went there with messed up nails and the gentleman Ken, he helped figure out what was best for my nails and since my natural nails were long he just did an overlay and gel polish and they look so much better than before. I am torn between one and two stars. The lady that does eyebrows is pretty good. If I do go I will only go for that. As far as pedicures go watch out from the older lady. She will rest her sagging boobs on your feet when she massages your calves. The last time I went she backhanded I guess it was her teenage son or grandson just because he couldn't find an item. With the numerous spas out there I won't have a problem finding a better place. All the employees are friendly to the customers though. read more

I have gone here for several years but think I just made my last visit. Went in with my daughter for pedicures. The owner was rushed and they were short staffed. I have noticed tremendous turnover in staff in the past year so you never get the same person twice. The male owner did my daughters pedicure and two days later her heels looked like he had bruised them terribly using too much force with the "cheese grater". My daughter complained about how rough he was but never did I expect her heels to look damaged like they do. The man that did my pedicure was rushed as well and my feet are just as rough a week later as before I went in. Will look for a new salon:(. read more
