They are very easy to get along with, and they worked well with all the adults and my five year old. My son loved them instantly, and despite waking up grouchy from a nap on the car ride to the beach, he almost instantly turned into a ham for Lucky. He had a lot of questions too, and Lucy and Lucky were very good with answering all of them. I chose Mokapu Beach for our session, and I loved it. The fallen tree, rocks with vibrant green algae, palm trees, the beautiful sand and waves all offered a great (and a wide variety) of backdrops. It was easy to find parking in the lot Lucy and Lucky direct us to, and there were not a lot of people on the beach. Lucy and Lucky offer you great photographs and a great price. Their 48 hour turn around time is great as well. If we decide to get photographs taken again next time we are on Maui, I won't hesitate to book with Blue Maui Photographers again. We booked our "Maui Mini Session at sunset in Wailea" for our Babymoon on a Sunday at noon for the…read morenext day Monday at 530pm and received our photo gallery by Wednesday of the same week. We got a confirmation email, an email with tips on how to optimize the session, and later a text confirming our appointment and location from our photographer Max. Just like minimauisession.com says, the session costed $299 (+ $10 Hawaii photography permit) for 20 minutes of photography on a beautiful quiet beach, and included all the 250+ images the photographer captured. No added costs/fees/gimmicks! This felt very affordable (compared to our resort that offered a "free" 40minute photography session, but heavily charged you for select photos) and professional. The location was very convenient as we were staying walking distance in Wailea. Communication was clear and prompt. The photographer Max was on time and thorough. Delivery of the gallery was within 48 hours! Initially the gallery had a watermark, but I emailed them and they removed it right away. The gallery is password protected, and you can download right away, the photos do not expire. The photos are beautiful, high quality and we loved so many! I think 20 minutes is perfect, otherwise two introverts tire of the attention. I would use this service again for a future occasion in Wailea!

First - I had a special photo of my son and I (from when he was 4) that I was hoping to recreate on his wedding day. Anna actually brought the photo on the day and they took so many photos, and were so painstaking to even get the hand and body positions perfect. I will cherish the photo that they created! On the day - the team showed up well before our event, and they even mounted flashes up high, around the space (inconspicuously), so there would be enough light at our outdoor venue. They took pictures of everything - the layout, the flowers, and then they captured everyone's expressions as they arrived, and all of the laughter and love during the evening. We have received over a thousand photos, and I have no idea how we will choose - they are all stunning. Throughout the process, Anna was quick to set up Zoom calls (we were off-island and in another time zone!), and quick to respond to emails personally and promptly.
