Frizzy hair , uneven and unraveling .

Went in on Sunday , June 27. Arrived at 10:30 and left at 6:00pm. Mind you I have scarring alopecia so my crown is missing. Several ladies worked my head including "Mama". Today I noticed that braids (kinky twist) are coming loose, not twisted to the end, different sizes and ends not all curled and frizzy. i Hate my Hair!!!!!!!! MAMA shouldn't be braiding and the stylist need to limit the convos and work the job . They have a few good stylist that I wish would've done my hair .

As long as I've been living in GA and when I come back to visit, I come here to get my hair braided! Nice sized building and staff and they work together and fast to get you in and out!

Day two of my braids.

Day two of my braids. They usually do a decent job but today was not that day. This picture I posted on Yelp was taken less than 24 hours after I got my hair done. I'm disappointed because I spent $200 their that day. I was more upset because my hair is coming down and no one even bothered to take the time to make the back look decent enough to last. I texted the owner Hawa once I got home and looked in the mirror and she did not text me back. But she's text me before. I will definitely stop by and let them know how terribly dissatisfied.

What a fantastic experience…read more I visited D'lor for my birthday after my partner gifted me a spa gift card. When I searched for spas and came across the great reviews for D'lor, I was set. Their prices, packages and great Yelp reviews were all selling points that solidified my plan to book with them, and I was not disappointed. I initially planned to book on the website as I never prefer phone calls if I can avoid them, lol. Unfortunately, the website did not show any availability for the day I was hoping to go, but I figured it was because of the short 1-day turnaround. In an unusual move, I called D'lor just to be sure they didn't have availability and lucky me - they actually did have a spot. YAY! Bridget at the front was so patient and helped accommodate me for the day/time and package that I was looking for. Upon arrival, it was easy to find a parking space and head right on in. I was greeted warmly and given a short form to complete before heading in. The salon was booked and busy, set in a separate portion of the business, it was so peaceful as ladies hustled in and out. Once I finished my form I was taken to the ladies dressing area and given a locker that included a robe and slides. The space was intimate, offering a private toilet, sauna, and more, all in one space. Once I got changed I went and took a seat in the sitting room. This space was sooo comfy, I almost hesitated a bit when my masseuse came and got me lol. I hate that I didn't catch either of my providers name because they were both amazing! I went with one of their February packages that included a 60min massage, 60 min facial and a steam bath. I forgot about the steam bath but, wow, my massage and facial were great. My massage was nice, not life-changing, but it was a good experience. That facial? Amazing. After switching my medication recently, my skin has been struggling and I really needed a good facial and extractions. Miss Ma'am got me right!! She got under my skin in the best way, she even snatched a random hair that was on my chin without me asking LOL. From calling in for my appointment, to my arrival, and exit - this was a fantastic experience! I will be running back to have another spa day at D'lor.

There was a young lady in the salon that I had not noticed who apparently complained and felt unsafe. I explained to Erica that as per the condition of my release I had to get 2 negative tests in a matter of 1 week but I was still thrown out of the salon. It is note worthy to mention that neither the young lady herself nor Erica did offer proof that both were recently tested and were negative. I was the only person who knew their Covid status as I had gotten testers that very same day oddly enough. I never received an apology from Erica either so I definitely do not recommend as service left to be desired for especially toward a loyal customer.

She did a good job on the touch up relaxer, no complaints. Before doing my hair she said she would be able to lift unwanted color that sometimes happen from coloring and gives the hair a weird tint. After washing and applying the supposed necessary solution, it did not take. She wanted me to again sit under the bowl (very uncomfortable) and repeat the process. I mentioned I was literally freezing in the bowl area and made her aware of the extreme coldness with with wet hair. She said "she should adjust the temperature" but that did not happen. Ultimately, I am now doing my best to stave off a cold and looks like I may lose the battle. ""No hint of any illness in any way prior to getting my hair done. The following day I experienced chills and a sore throat. Bottom line, it is always better to under promise and over deliver than to under deliver and overpromise. Not likely to go back primarily due to frigid climate.

He gives good washes to...big, strong hands..not for the timid. His daughter also does hair there, however I've never seen her doing anyone's hair but her own. She's seems kinda aloof and not very friendly. She did my hair once and it was okay but her attitude was not pleasant at all. Nicole, is another stylist there. Probably the only one with the most clients. She's a good stylist and I've been to her several times. She loves cutting on your hair and that's why I choose not to go back. She also has 3 clients come in at the same time. What's the point of having an appointment if you schedule everyone at the same time. I hate that because my time is very important. I'm always there for 3+ hours for a wash/flat iron. I give this place 3 stars because my hair has been satisfactory...nothing to brag about..customer service lacks. Mr. T is great...he should hire stylist that make his business run more smoothly. If your looking for mediocre and nothing special and don't mind waiting...this is the place for you.

I was a few minutes late but was in and out before 12:10 pm. Everyone was friendly. I was shampooed, conditioned, and wet wrap set before 11 am. Mr. T hooked me up with a nice trim and style. I have short hair cut in a bob. I didn't want anyone too scissor happy in my head. I like to get tge back faded out. The prices aren't outrageous. I was able to pay via credit card. They offer a variety of services (locks, texturizers, color, & eye brow arching). I highly recommend them.

The braider is a newbie (assuming from the sewer continuously calling him over to show him certain things). I got there on a Sunday at noon, I left at 4:15. As I was being asked which package I wanted, it was ever stated that the tracks would be cut. However I was okay with that. Once I sat in the stylist chair she asked me if I was sure if I wanted the tracks cut. I said okay. But when she was done, she didn't even use my two FULL bundles. I've been to other weave shops, walk in shops, $50 shops and I've gotten a very good basic sew-in. Braided down tightly, all two full bundles sewn in double tracked uncut with a leave out. That's basic right. This place was less than basic! And for 4 hours to end up with below mediocre. Save your time and money.

The stylist smelled like cigarettes and she rushed doing my hair, but I was the only customer there at the time. My hair looks so bad that people couldn't even tell I got it done. I reached out to the owner to rectify the issue. She told me to call her but when I asked for the number, she never responded. I literally live right down the street from the salon, so the picture I posted was taken 10 minutes after I left the shop. This stylist should not be allowed to work professionally & needs to go back to hair school.
