First of all, I knew for $50 I would not get anything top of the line. But this is by far the worst sewin I've ever gotten. The braider is a newbie (assuming from the sewer continuously calling him over to show him certain things). I got there on a Sunday at noon, I left at 4:15. As I was being asked which package I wanted, it was ever stated that the tracks would be cut. However I was okay with that. Once I sat in the stylist chair she asked me if I was sure if I wanted the tracks cut. I said okay. But when she was done, she didn't even use my two FULL bundles. I've been to other weave shops, walk in shops, $50 shops and I've gotten a very good basic sew-in. Braided down tightly, all two full bundles sewn in double tracked uncut with a leave out. That's basic right. This place was less than basic! And for 4 hours to end up with below mediocre. Save your time and money. read more

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!! You get what you pay for. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and she didn't even get close. The stylist smelled like cigarettes and she rushed doing my hair, but I was the only customer there at the time. My hair looks so bad that people couldn't even tell I got it done. I reached out to the owner to rectify the issue. She told me to call her but when I asked for the number, she never responded. I literally live right down the street from the salon, so the picture I posted was taken 10 minutes after I left the shop. I brought my mother to your Thornton Rd. location to have her hair done (full lace frontal sew-in and tinted roots). Kiara colored her hair with a dark brown almost black color. The color has turned her hair green (pictured below). Kiara explained, after the fact, that the shop does not carry all colors, and if you want a specific color you are to bring it in. Now, I have never been to to a full service salon (as she said) and had to bring my own hair color, but if that information was given to me before hand, this whole situation would have been avoided. Because I wouldn't have gotten my mother's hair colored at a location that does not supply color, because they probably are not experts with coloring. I would have gone somewhere else. I understand the refund policy you have, but that is under the circumstances that the customer is informed of everything going on with their hair. Kiara said herself, after doing my mother's hair, "This was all I had." As if, she knew it didn't look good, but she made do with what she had. That did not leave my mother filled with confidence as she left the shop, and then her hair turns green! Now I have to pay more out of pocket to get it fixed somewhere else before an important event we are attending, because I honestly don't trust anyone at your salon to do it right. For that, I would like a refund for the color of $30. I initially wanted a refund for the closure, because I thought it was ruined. I will give this place 2 stars for convenience and the people. However, this place is what you should expect, a walk in weave place who assumes you are never going to come back. The business Reminded me of a hair school that I went to in high school. The place is run down and could use some cosmetic upgrades. The staff was just sitting around like a hangout spot. My hair itself looked good. The torture it took to get to the end result is the true update. I was stuck by the threading needle multiple times. No one plays with needles. Plus there has been bad press about unsanitary needles. Please either practice more on your sewins and disinfect your tools! On top of that I got burned a couple of times by the curling iron. Very very dissapointed about the outcome of my daughter's hair. If the stylist did not know how to do a lace closure she shouldn't do it. My daughter looks like she has a bad wig on her head for graduation. Thank God she had to wear her graduation cap on her head during the ceremony but sad she did not want to take it off at her dinner. I told the stylist not to put the whole 3 packs in but she did not listen. I said big curls she did small curls. I was experiencing a color/ installation emergency last weekend and needed help immediately. Yolanda was the stylist to take me. She is absolutely amazing. My hair has never looked better. The color is spot on. I loved the style and I've gotten tons of compliments. I also totally appreciate getting my hair washed, colored, a partial install and styled in about 2 hours on a Sunday. I've been coming to this establishment for about 3 years. I JUST left because a male employee that works near the front desk had the most reckless mouth. He made it seem as if my service would interrupt with his trip "to the mall" and I could "wait until [he gets back]." I don't even want to come back. I addressed him and said that was really fucked up. It was. He was remorseless & pretty much shrugged me off & continued to run his mouth. He said he wasn't talking to me but he was talking about me. Just an overall awful experience I had here yesterday. I had to come here as a last resort after my original appointment with another hairdresser was cancelled and I'm so regretful in doing so. I came in, explained to the 1st person braiding my hair that I had a closure and that I wanted a side part. When she left to do something else and another came to braid my hair, I asked him it mattered that I wanted to do A SIDE PART with my closure. He said no, and kept on braiding. And there aren't mirrors right in front of stations, but to the side of stations, so you can't see when they're doing something incorrectly. You can only say something at the very end. When I go to the weave put in, the hairdresser tells me I can't have a side part and that I should've said something from the beginning. So not only am I stuck with a middle part in which I hate, you can clearly see the lace of the closure because they left no edges out to close it (and I asked them too at the very beginning) and it was placed incorrectly. The shop is super convenient and this stylist are awesome. My only complaint is the consistency of customer service amongst the staff. I went yesterday to get my hair done as i have done every 3 months since it has opened. I walked in along with a stylist and was going to sign in she asked what i was getting and how i wanted it. I told her i wanted leave out and my perimeter left out. She rolled her eyes and said very rudely "i mean you want a cut curl what you want?" Confused i replied that the hair was already curly and i didn't want it cut. Says "so how many bundles? I said i have 6 half bundles and one full. She then looked at me like i had lost my mind and said so how many is that?! I said very irritated at this point at her attitude well i have six half bundles and one full so that would make four. Honestly i was taken back because lexxi the young lady i was talking to is who last did my hair and had planned on requesting her but at that point i was debating if i even want to get serviced in this shop. The young man who braided my hair also did my install and was super friendly. Im not brand new so i don't expect for the shop to be a place a peace and serenity however just like i as a customer dont have to come there you as a stylist dont have to work there, when they post the schedule it is a suggestion that if you plan to stay employed that you come in and work. There is a new salon across the street with similar prices, and other walk in weaves locations so it needs to be understood by the stylist that no one has to come there and deal with a bad attitude, because money is not an issue here its convenience and service. read more

I had a pleasant experience during my recent first visit. I walked in on a Friday evening at 5:30pm and walked out around 8:30pm. I spent $100 for a single track sew-in, cut and style. The cost was very reasonable considering the quality of the results. Superb! read more

Hello all: just wanted to share my experience today at the Thornton Rd, Lithia Springs location. I forgot it was Mother's Day weekend (Prom/Graduation season), so when I got there, the shop was really busy. I came in to get my weave removed. I was amazed at the speed the professionals worked, making all of the customers glamerous. One by one, I watched beautifully done, expertly cut styles leave the shop, everyone looking fantastic and everyone smiling. The wait was much shorter than I expected and I enjoyed the music and conversation I had with others who were also waiting. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. I'm giving my hair a rest for a few weeks, but when I have it done again, it will be here. I'm not a spring chicken, but today I saw other women my age there as well. Never Again! I am very big on customer service and that is something this facility lacks. Most of the girls in the shop seemed to have had a bad attitude and not interested in doing anything but sitting down and chilling. I searched for prices on the internet before going so that I would have an idea of the price range, well to my surprise the price that it was suppose to be to get my hair curled was $10 more than what I was told. This pissed me off because who's to say I had 10 extra dollars! Anyways, if you like poor customer service and make up as you go prices, then this will be the place for you..if not stay away! read more

Stylist do a good job for the prices. However, I recommend that you call before hand to see how many braiders and stylist are on duty or plan to wait beyond the quick services advertised. Also, because some of the stylist are of a particular maturity the conversation and music selection preferred in salon may not be appealing to customer. read more

I visit this location on 1/2/15. Let me just say I will NEVER step foot back in this God awful place. There is NO customer service what so ever. Not even a hello. I took my daughter at 845 in the morning and she left at 430 in the afternoon a very dissatisfied customer. They overcharged us for services and did not even attempt to give my daughter the style she asked for. I would not recommend this establishment to my friends coworkers or my worse enemy! Whoever owns this location, should fire everyone in there because if they are stealing money from customers they are probably stealing money from you as well! read more

Walk in Weave on Thorton Rd gets no stars from me. I was there an hour early because I figured there would be a line since they came highly recommended. The shop opened late, a male Braider said he was "high off the pill" but had fun at 'Empire'. He braided a client hair do bogus that another stylist had to tell him to correct it. The manager and 2 stylist were in the office cursing and arguing so loud they had to turn up the music so customers would not hear them. But the biggest disappointment was the fact I was the first one there paying $120 for my hair and I sat in a chair for an hour without any help watching women that came in after me get their hair braided and so forth. Mind you they don't do appointments. For $120 my service should of been better and my time shouldn't of been waisted. Thanks but no thanks to the stylist who decided to run to my car as I'm leaving to say she could do my hair, but ma'am you should of did that while I was sitting in there waiting.
