Eric from EC Home Inspection did a stellar job for us on an inspection of a new Lennar home. We are…read morewaiting for escrow to close and searched for a good 3rd party inspection company. EC Inspections got great reviews so I setup an online request. Eric called me snd setup the inspection based on the Lennar construction manager's availability. I received a Docusign link to fill in the address and payment along with legal stuff. The day of the inspection, Eric arrived promptly at 8:30 am and it is such a comprehensive inspection that it takes almost until noon to finish. We were not in attendance based on Lennars preference. Probably before 3 or 4 pm, the 48 page report was ready. It broke the issues into major, minor and informational categories. Complete with video, pictures and detailed verbiage on each item. Also infrared photos of hot water from the sinks, showers and heater output. So cool. All in all, a superb job well done. Eric does a great job communicating and answering questions re his work. As a side note, Lennar implemented each of his suggestions and commented on how well documented and organized Eric was. Most importantly, EC Home Inspections is a veteran owned business. As FHB were dumb too for trusting too easily. So this didn't get put into our inspection report before the sale of our home. 1 month later, come to find out, it's water damage by an active leak in the ceiling. Also, I contacted the realtor back about this, and no one replied back. A sale is done once people get paid, but the trust you're supposed to build off your business is more negatively impactful.
