I had met this company through a local networking group (BNI) and have been with them for a year for my auto and renters insurance. I had my policy set on direct debit and apparently the direct debit stopped working for a reason unknown to them. Neither of us noticed until I went to the DMV to renew my registration and they told me I was not currently covered and my policy had termed. I contacted John to let him know, he apologized and set the direct debit up again. I stayed with them because I understood no one is perfect and mistakes happen. Fast forward to this month when my policy is about to renew the 25th. I had another insurance broker in my networking group review the policy they were renewing to make sure I was getting the correct coverage. The insurance broker was shocked to find this company had listed my annual mileage as 300,000 miles per year. I would have NEVER estimated that many miles and this directly effects your auto insurance rate. My car does not even have that many miles on it in total. My estimation should have been at 10,000 miles per year instead. I am disappointed in the service and integrity of Hawkguard Insurance Services and will not be recommending them to anyone within my network. I hope you they do not do this to anyone else in the future who may be trusting them in good faith. People find out the truth eventually. read more

I went in to Ryan Ramirez's farmers office in Huntington beach not really thinking it would be any different from any other insurance office, but I was wrong!! The entire office is so courteous, they answered all my questions about insurance so finally I felt like I was protecting myself, not just buying a commodity. Also, they didn't try to sell me anything unnecessary. They told me the areas I need coverage, and they told me which areas of coverage I was wasting money on. Also, I got a sweet teacher discount. I don't own a home yet, but they mentioned they reduce car and home by like 25% if you have both. Too bad for me.
