She had a unique home and an adjacent parcel of land, each surrounded on three sides by a state park. I was facilitating the process of selling both properties virtually from San Francisco. I had called and spoken to a few local realtors. The valuations for the home deviated substantially from our expectations. One agent even acknowledged that she did not know how to price the property. What??? Mike, on the other hand, understands the market and the value proposition these properties offered to the right buyer. He was knowledgeable of the area and pursued a pricing strategy that yielded quick results. We just had a house sale closing yesterday, May 10. Upon…read moremeeting the buyers real estate "representative", the husband of the broker, whose name was not presented until asked, we learned that he had just come from our house for the final walk-through; two hours before the closing. I asked why the final house walk-through time had changed from Thursday, May 9 at 11:00am to Friday, May 10 at 9:00am? I was told that because the oil company had not made the final oil delivery on Thursday SOMEONE decided to change the walk- thru from Thursday to Friday WITHOUT notifying the sellers agent or the sellers. No one present knew who made this decision so I put it back on the shoulders of Holly Mitchell. This lack of communication process is not acceptable. This lack of communication was disrespectful and elicited great distress upon the sellers. We, the sellers, would have liked the extra day to finish without this stress! Instead, the seller worked until Wednesday night at 10pm the night before and slept on moving blankets on the living room floor. Seller pushed hard but was able to finish the next morning to be out by 11:00am for the walk- through. I would like an explanation and an apology please. Thank you, Holly Guy

We were travelling from out of state and quite some distance so we wanted to collect as much information as possible before making the trip to central ME. It's a seller's market now, everyone knows that, but the tide will change at some point. Agents definitely seem less motivated now to assist the customer knowing 'someone else will buy this place for much more than the asking price, with cash, and no inspection' and it definitely comes across in their communication with prospective clients and other agents.
