My initial visit included a very thorough stack of paperwork that covered my current injury, past injuries, and personal info for records. After that I was fairly quickly whisked into the back where they said they would be X raying my neck...what? Not sure if there was a mix up on my behalf or theirs but I assured the tech that we did not need to do this. He didn't argue and pleasantly brought me to my room for intake and to wait for my doctor. Dr. Abbott came in and chatted with me about my symptoms. He was very detailed and never seemed rushed to get to his next appointment. In the next couple of visits he has done the same and has given me several techniques to help alleviate pain along with his work that he has done on my neck and surrounding muscles. Sometimes runs late (don't all doctors) but overall an amazing experience and will continue to go to have work done on my neck.

I don't write this lightly, and I don't write it out of anger--I write it from a place of deep…read moreexperience, as someone who is five years sober and has fought through multiple treatment centers to build the life I have today. My brother recently checked into Saint Mary's voluntarily--bravely, vulnerably, and fully willing to do the work. Within minutes of arriving, he was strip searched and treated like a threat, not like a human being fighting for his life. There was no compassion, no trauma-informed care, no basic dignity. He left shattered and humiliated. This isn't just a "bad experience"--it's a failure of care. It's a system set up to break people further when they're at their most fragile. I've been through it. I know what it's like to walk into a place full of hope and walk out feeling dehumanized. The difference is, I lived long enough to find a facility that met me with kindness. Some people don't make it to that second chance. And I worry every day that my brother won't. This center claims to offer addiction treatment, but based on our experience, it operates more like a correctional intake facility than a place of healing. The emotional damage done in those first few minutes can take months--or even a lifetime--to undo. Some people don't get that time. If you're considering this place for yourself or a loved one, I urge you: ask questions. Ask how they treat people upon entry. Ask if their staff are trauma-informed. Ask how they protect--not just the body--but the dignity of those who come to them in pain. Because dignity matters. And at Saint Mary's, it was the first thing they took away. -- Treena T.

That led to harassment from staff and other patients. I actually had to call 911 for protection against the staff. 2. There are cameras in the rooms and the bathrooms. I know this because I had a fall and they sent a nurse in to stand where I fell and WATCH THE VIDEO! I also have one camera I found in the bathroom. I found a listening device in my room too. 3. The harassment from the patients was not stopped by the staff. Staff just let it happen even with other patients complaining about the noise and language. 4. My phone was compromised and cloned by a staff member named Dan. He shared it with patients and my identity was potentially stolen while in the "care" of the staff. The people harassing me could see everything I was doing on my phone and nothing was done to shut them down. 5. Administrator Nathan does not give a shit about it. He would not show his face even after several requests to talk to him. Social worker Tim pretended he didn't know anything about what was happening. 6. It got so bad my husband had to come get me out of there. We left without any paperwork just had to flee. 7. All videos and listening devices are illegal. Somehow other patients could also watch me wash and dress and harassed me for that from my body to how I washed myself. They also harassed me for how I wiped myself in the bathroom. 8. They do not care at all about.the patients and I heard them sharing other patients information as well. A visitor for another patient complained about the noise level and disregard for HIPPA. They freely insulted patients and couldn't keep track of where patients were at all times 9. I have a good criminal and HIPPA case per my lawyer. I NEED therapy for the PTSD but can't afford it right now. 10. If you care about anyone in this facility I would get them out. If anyone needs rehab before or after surgery do not send them there. I wouldn't have my worst enemy put in there. 11. I'm not going to file the lawsuit at this time as my peace is more important and it would involve too much of my time and peace that I need for my continuing healing. Please do NOT go here or send someone there.
