He lead us to the display but beyond that couldn't help. I figured it out, but it was kinda annoying. They didn't have 3 combo smoke detector: CO2 detectors on the floor of the kind I needed. I asked if they had more in the back and be immediately said no. Now maybe they don't, but I am skeptical. I ended up buying 2 of 1 and 1 of the other because I needed them today. When I was rung up he exclaimed "Dayum!" Not exactly the reaction I was hoping. Prices are fair for some things. I didn't have time to price compare.

The next order, the doors opened out instead of in (the way they were ordered) so these had to returned as well. Keep in mind that every return means the doors have to be reordered so now I'm weeks behind (including the contractor working at my house.). Long story short, multiple people from Home Depot started calling me, including the "supervisor" trying to pressure me to take the doors. They said "hey the door is the same it just opens in, you can still use it". Just the absolute worst experience and customer service.

Then had some harder to reach one's in even more of a bad angle. Went to harbor freight in frustration and walked out with $20 worth of 5 tools, w of which came in sets. They worked perfect. Returning the home depot and lowes garbage. Lowes is good for like appliances but when it comes to needing 1 tool they only sell $40 sets. Whereas at Harbor Freight, more often than not, you can buy just the 1 tool you need. I can't believe they literally had everything I was looking for here. I will definitely come here first next time. Oh and I also had the same experience last year buying a tool chest. Harbor Freight had nicer sliding drawer mechanisms and better size and it was on some holiday sale so for like $100 less I got what I feel like was a better product. This seems to be the recurring theme in all of my experiences with this store. You pay much less and get what you need. I will be back again and again!

Unfortunately, the quality of the delivery itself was extremely disappointing. Several bags were ripped open, mulch and debris were scattered across my driveway, and multiple products arrived damaged. For the amount charged for delivery, I expected much better care in handling both the products and my property. Based on this experience, I would encourage anyone considering a Lowe's delivery to keep this in mind. Fast delivery is appreciated, but the condition in which the products arrive and the care taken during the delivery process are equally important.
