What an incredibly friendly company to work with. I called early this morning after I was notified that 1-800-GOT-JUNK could not haul away paint, batteries and fluorescent bulbs as they are hazardous waste. They gave me a number for HazAwayToday and Ryan answered the phone. He was very informative and within a few minutes he was able to schedule someone out same day and would contact me to give me a time window on when a technician could be at my store. Not even ten minutes later, I had a text that Andrew would be out from 1-3pm and that he would call me 30 minutes out. Around 12:30, Andrew called to let me know he was going to be at my store in about 45 minutes. When he arrived, he walked me through universal waste and other waste that must be researched before they could take, this was mostly spray paint cans because they are aerosol. Andrew got hard to work weighing 7 years worth of paint and a fluorescent fixture that weighed 50-70lbs each! He had communicated well with his headquarters, and they ended up being able to research on the spot and he was able to take the other items too! He was friendly and patient while working in a tight corridor. I was completely blown away at the level of service HazAwayToday provided. The process was absolutely seamless and expedient. I don't normally take the time to write reviews but I wanted to take the time this time. This company is absolutely amazing and professional. I came across a cooler and container full of what ended up being a total of over 100lbs of motor oil! I had no idea how to handle it other than I knew I needed it cleaned and disposed of properly and I was not equipped to do it. I called their number and was answered immediately. I was told that while I was not in their normal territory, they would make an exception if I was willing to be flexible. What I didn't expect was that flexible to them was that they were going to be at the location the next morning (less than 24 hours later) ready and willing to clean up and help me out. The gentleman who came called and gave me a 30 minute warning that he was arriving so it gave me plenty of time to be ready. I was up and ready and when he arrived he was professional, kind and just an all around wonderful person to work with. He even saved me from what appeared to be Shelob (a giant spider).
